Ramada by Wyndham Rochelle Park Near Paramus

Both elevators broken, pink mold on shower head, slimy tub, very strong floral smell throughout hotel. Floors are sticky in lobby and carpet very dirty in hallways and room. Fridge in room does not keep temperature.

Breakfast was good. I had eggs and sausage and potatoes and cereal with milk, and a glass of juice. It was a good way to begin the morning. The hotel has a fitness center, but it didn't have much equipment. Only 2 treadmills, and neither worked very well. But I was able to get in a 28 minute run and my desired speed. But, the treadmill was so jerky, I thought I was going to fall. No other equipment was in the fitness center. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable.

elevator : 1 was completely broken the 2nd was very slow if it ever showed up ! Was always on 5th floor and took holding the button forever to get it to move . I was on the 4th floor and was very difficult to get luggage up and down.

The breakfast here is beyond terrible. The hotel rooms do not feel clean at all we had to switch rooms the first night. It smelt of cigarettes and the curtain were shredded as if a pack of lions stayed before us. The bathroom looked rusty and small. Out of the two queen beds one was comfortable the other was stiff. The gym was comical. 2/10

The elevator was horrible. Only one working and the other one was slow or didn’t close so I used stairs from 5th floor. The tv barely worked. Need upgrading and a lot of attention

Only one elevator working. Some websites state it has a pool. It does not have an Operational pool Breakfast was not restocked.

Here's the bad and the ugly:The room was very run down and was more like a highway by the hour motel. There was so much dust behind the nightstand which we saw while trying to plug in our charger. The mattresses were sooo bad, old school metal springs and I felt every single one of them. There was some liquid stains running down the walls. Bathtub was so worn that we thought it was dirty at first. The breakfast was an easy pass, grabbed an apple and kept it moving. Now Here's the good: location, sheets were clean, check in, very nice guy, check out..ok guy but not a sparkling personality. Would I return..no. it just wasn't clean enough for me but after driving for 15 hrs all I wanted to do was sleep.

The property is old. Service was fine. Room and bathroom were clean, but sheesh….walk barefoot on the room’s carpeted floor and you can feel the years of grime. Grossed me out. Definitely needs some refurbishing.

Great affordable hotel. It is outdated but clean. Breakfast was fine, could use more selections. Beds and pillows comfy. Staff is friendly.

Bathroom was dirty and falling apart

The first room they showed us smelled so bad I gagged. They showed us a second room that didn’t smell as bad. Both rooms needed updates and the carpeting was filthy. There was crumbled plaster in the corner and the dust on the carpet under the bed by the headboard was awful. My husband noticed roaches by the air conditioner. We will not be returning.

Hotel needs to be updated, the rooms & bathroom could be cleaner. Used to be a top notch hotel but not anymore, in my opinion. Really dusty!

The hotel is dirty. The entire hotel is filthy. When we arrived to our room is was not cleaned, the bed sheets were torn and the sheets and comforter were dirty, the sink and bathtub had hair and the desk was sticky with food residue. We informed reception and they made us switch to three different dirty rooms (2 on the 3rd floor & 1 on the 4th fl. We finally stayed at the last room because the bed was clean, however the sink had hair and desk, floors, toilet and walls were dirty. After a 10 hour drive we wanted to sleep and were tired. No one helped us move our luggage from room to room. I had to keep going down to the desk to get a new key for a new room. The third room that we decided to stay at had a horrible smell. Reception brought us an air freshener, I showed the man the hair in the sink and he shook his head said he will tell the cleaning staff to clean better. There is a bad smell throughout the entire hotel. The next day I asked for more towels and for housekeeping. They only brought us extra towels but never cleaned anything. One of the "clean" towels they brough had a hair in it. The hairdryer did not work. I left a note and it was fixed the next day. There is a noisy congested highway in front of the hotel all night. The hotel staff declined this to hotels.com when they contacted them. They said we only changed rooms 2x not 3x. Unfortunately I never took photos. I showed the staff and they were made aware. Too bad they are not honest people.

Bathroom dirty, bugs, ac not working, phone not working

We stayed here as a cheaper alternative to Manhattan. The beds were comfortable and the room was tidy, but a bit worn. The only real problem was that the AC could not keep up with the temp, was loud, and kept turning on and off even though it was never getting to temp. The breakfast was reasonably good. We were happy with the stay for the night.

The room faced the street and was extremely affected by outside noise. Hot water for the shower was non-existent in the morning. The lever on the toilet was broken. However, the room was spacious and clean.

Wow so terrible motel close to the interstate! They gave us a room just in front of the interstate. The air cooler so old and noisy! Only one point: the shower was ok but no shower gel... We really don't like the stay

I’ve stayed here many times. And it’s been fine. But this time the room was very loud due to Parkway traffic.

Poor WiFi and cable . Food is bad.

Best water pressure I’ve ever had in a shower

The room was clean and the beds were awesome. But the furniture needs some updating. The bathroom vanity was very low and the shower/tub should be updated. The water pressure was great. The breakfast which is included was very good. There were 2 elevators and only 1 worked. The people were friendly.

The hotel is old and not well taken care of… The room was “clean” but old and definitely not like show on picture. We were on the side of the highway, very noisy… They offer breakfast from 7 till 10 but we don’t use it so I can tell anything about it. Our stay was average definitely not worth much than $130 per night…

The room was clean. The television was not hooked up to a server box. I could not watch T.V.

Room was on side of hotel immediately abutting the highway. All night long various traffic kept me awake. Sound goes right thru the windows. The old style phone had 3 red blinking light on it. Could not stop them, so I put a pillow over the phone. They are very bright in pure darkness! The shower took 15 full minutes to finally get hot from coldish lukewarm to hop in.

I would never stay here again. When we checked in, the floor in our room was wet. We immediately went to the front desk and instead of being offered another room or a real solution, we were dismissed. The situation was so bad we ended up leaving in the middle of the night. I later called the manager, who wasn’t even on site during all of this, and he told me the staff claimed I refused another room—which is a complete lie. He also said there was nothing wrong with the room. So not only was our complaint ignored, but we were gaslit and blamed for how we were treated. Completely unprofessional. No accountability, no customer care. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The staff was amazing. The manager and the front desk workers were very patient and courteous. The rooms were clean. And, I would definitely stay here again.

The daytime front desk person was helpful. The night front desk person mark was horrible. He actually told me that i was bothering him when i called 2 times at 11 30 p.m and again at 1 00a.m the noise was overwhelming. He told me he didnt want anyone like me to stay there.!!!!. I am a mature professional female. How disrespectful. I left the next morning.

The A/C was broken in the first room. The sheets on both beds were stained and appeared to be unclean. The room had a stinch and odor that smelled like mildew. The front desk staff was rude and unprofessional. The quality of service overall was very unsatisfactory. I will never stay at any property by Ramada or Wyndham. I will not recommend this property to any family or friends.

The property was recommended by a friend and on the first night I was okay. I was actually placed in a first-floor suite with one king bed. On the second stay, I was placed on another side which did not appear as clean as the side I was on the first day. Throughout the night I was itching severely but assumed that it was due to the cold and my skin being dry. The next day I was itching again but it was like a burning itching that it was so uncomfortable to sleep. I woke up praying that what I assumed it may be but yes BED BUGS. I killed one and took a picture of the other one I could not catch and took it to the front desk to ask for my money back or some money back and relocation or even assistance to wash my clothes. The front desk attendee was nasty and even accused me of bringing them into the hotel. Now I might not have been so upset if they were not accusatory. But to say I bring them in and not to compensate for any inconvenience is terrible

I use this hotel every time I go on a business trip. The staff are kind and friendly. I appreciate the breakfast service. I always use this hotel comfortably. Thank you very much.☺︎

The front desk clerk was very nice and professional. Very helpful.

Check in was horrible. Right when I walked in and to the counter, the staff member decided to go on break for 10 minutes while I stood there. Unfriendly welcoming when staff finally showed up. Horrible smell throughout hotel. The shower was slimy and the water pressure was so hard I thought I was gonna get out with bruises or internal organ damage. There were also bugs in my room.

It was a good place to stay near downtown New York/NJ but still on outskirts. Nothing overly fancy but nice.

Convenient location right near the garden state parkway and highways only 30 minutes from NYC by car. Close to local transit stations and shopping centers . Decor is a bit nostalgic and out dated. Affordable and comfortable bed’s with a restaurant next to the property.

Nice place and good location

Exactly as advertised. Bus to NYC steps from the front door. 24 hour grocery store 10 minute walk away. Clean rooms. Quiet hotel. Mexican restaurant next door a plus.

The restaurant, the shops nearby, bank across the street.

Walls are paper thin. You can hear everything from the rooms around you. The breakfast was horrible; eggs, pastries, bread, yogurt, cereal. The bed was really the only thing good at this place. Definitely won’t be back.

Excellent scrambled eggs and fruit Danish. Everything clean. All in order. Very nice.

The property was fine for the price. Enjoyed the Mexican restaurant next door. Disliked Fox News blaring each morning during breakfast. Management should find a political neutral station for guests.

For values this was one of good hotel. It was clean. Staff were friendly. Few things did not work out well .Their shower curtain was not clean. Phone from room was not working. Breakfast refill service was slow.

The Mexican place next to the hotel was fabulous! The breakfast was just okay but sufficient (eggs cereal juice and coffee). Beds were comfortable but the bathroom toilet was so short I was having difficulty getting in and off it easily. They really need to replace the toilets with comfort height commodes!

Althougj bkfast was "free" it was horrible, cold and undercooked only blocked powder eggs, white sausages, and stale bread. One day it was just eggs n bread. Its not good at all. Weed scents everywhere.
