Toilet ran all night room had a wet dog smell once the cleaning team cleaned the room pool had way too much chlorine walking into the pool house with my kids my eyes immediately began burning we could only tolerate being in the pool area for 20 minutes

Jacuzzi was out of order. We chose this hotel for the Jacuzzi

The hotel was clean and quiet. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub was out of service so was unable to use.

Only two negatives- only one elevator in the whole hotel, which was a little inconvenient when the hotel was busy…secondly at the pool, the smell of chlorine was so overwhelming powerful, just walking into the pool area it was burning my eyes.

The hotel itself was nice and the staff were very friends HOWEVER me and friends booked specifically for the jacuzzi and pool and was disappointed. The jacuzzi was slimmy and nasty and the pool water was very dirty and cloudy. This was a surprise to me because the rooms were so clean and comfortable. They really just need better maintenance for the pool and jacuzzi.

A few hours of swimming in this pool cost my entire family chlorine poisoning we’ve been sick for days. The chlorine had my kids unable to rest from coughing and sneezing. My eye was swollen from irritation and choked until I had to vomit the first night. Careless to safely monitor the levels of chlorine in a 3 feet pool ideally for kids. We couldn’t stay the night because of the discomfort I spoke to the manager the next morning from home she defended this behavior. I was told I would get at a min a refund for this nightmare.

Pool disappointing. Hot tub is broken/closed. Pool so over chlorinated it was hard to breathe. Reservation was for a family of 6 (suite) , only had 2 towels, no sheets for pull out bed. Staff was friendly and accommodating to our requests for the extra towels and sheets. Overall for the fairly high price point , the hotel is disappointing.

Hotel was OK. Conveniently located, bathroom was a little rusty and pool was very cloudy- you couldn't even see the bottom and it was only 3 ft deep, the whole pool. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly.

Hotel was pretty nice overall, good breakfast area, complimentary water, nice lobby. Room was fine except for very firm mattress. Biggest complaint was the pool area. Your room key won't let you in, you have to have a staff member let you in. Hot tub was small and terrible all around. Water was lukewarm at best and no room for more than two people. Chlorine level in pool was way out of wack, could barely keep my eyes open the chlorine level was so high. Pool area also pretty run down, needs a serious renovation. Could tell like most places this place is understaffed.

The room smelled like cigarette smoke the minute we walked into the room. The plastic of the toilet seat was peeling, the fixtures were rusted. However, the staff was helpful and friendly. My family was ill due to the odor.

The bathroom was not cleaned and had stains on the doors, toilet seat peeling, room phone was dirty, very noisy had to call down 3 times for noise above our room and it continued. Did not get rest. The best the front desk could do was provide a return of $37 out of the $375 that the room cost!! Then instead of returning it, I was charged an additional $37!! When I called to say something, the woman Jackie was getting rude about returning both transactions. Would never stay here again!!

Mostly clean room, staff was great so I had a pleasant stay. Bathroom and bedroom were very clean, AC was amazing, location was convenient. Nice spot to stay

Carpets need cleaning. Mutiple stains and musty odor. Toilets needed to be flushed mutiple times after use. Hot water in shower was also an issue. Was not pleased for the price that I paid. Woll not stay there again

Cockroaches in room. Hair everywhere

Tv was broken, they didn’t have connecting rooms when I called 2 weeks prior they said they did.

Bed was a bit too firm Traffic noise bad! Directly over entrance and street was crazy close to building and frequently disturbing!

The Inn is on a major road and it felt like you were sleeping on the infield of the Indy 500.

The staff were very helpful in responding to requests. Unfortunately the TV in the room did not work but they did offer a room change or compensation. Good breakfast and facilities.

We paid over $600 for 2 nights. The beds was so hard, my husband slept on the coach. Apparently there was some youth baseball event in the area. Kids were yelling up and down the halls most of the night. There was syrup all over their entire breakfast bar, but no actual syrup for the food. Had to call front desk for syrup bc no employees were around. They brought it as I was leaving. First day potatoes were dry with no seasoning. Second day they were smothered in pepper. I understand they can’t control what their guests do, but the bed being that uncomfortable at $300 a night. That is ridiculous.

It may have just been my rooms location but I felt like this hotel was very poorly constructed and I stay in a lot of hotels. I heard the conversations of people on either side of me at normal voice levels, the people above me kept dropping things and it sounded like a bowling alley was up there, I heard the water running of other peoples showers and also the water running through pipes. This isn’t the fault of the current staff who were all friendly but just wanted to let others know in case this would bother them.

All was fine until the air conditioner started leaking onto the rug.

I enjoyed the breakfast, the pillows are okay, but the beds were so uncomfortable. You can feel the springs poking in your back. Not worth the money.

Do not book this hotel on Expedia. Room was pre-paid on Expedia 2 months before trip. They sold room before arrival at the hotel for the ‘guaranteed’ room and said the hotel was booked. Lobby stunk like weed and was dirty. Parking lot full of trash. Rude front desk. Guessing short-staffed because they have to pay for a full-time security guard to sit in the lobby. DO NOT BOOK HERE - YOU WILL NOT HAVE A ROOM WHEN YOU ARRIVE.

When I showed up to the property they had given my room away. They put us in room that was not what l requested so I could at least have a place to stay. They said they would get our room ready the next day. Three days later never heard from them to switch me to the room l had paid for. They never informed the front that I was staying in that room. They thought the room was empty. I Was there for seven nights and no one ever cleaned my room. They said they would but I needed to be out by 11 and when I left before 11am they still didn’t clean it. I approached one of the housekeepers to get clean towels they only wanted to give me three bath towels knowing that they had not cleaned my room. I asked for 4 towels they said that room only gets 3 lol. Worst experience ever in this getto as hotel. !!!!

Checked went great after a 7 hour drive BUT by morning to have a noise complaint then a threat to be thrown out only to find out it was a room mix up! I told them my room was asleep at midnight but that didn’t help by day 2 a second complaint came in again I told them wrong room by check out I was then told the issue was fixed and room was found that noise came from BUT not a single apology for threatening to toss me my 6 year old autistic son and teenage son or hubby just here for business and family quick trip. Please next time do more verification before calling to complain

Great hotel and service

The staff was great! This was one of the best stays I have had at Holiday Inn. Checking in was easy and the woman at the desk was very friendly. The room was very clean. Checking out was easy and fast.

I thought the property was nice but they could use more sitting spaces. The staff was AMAZING - first class for sure!!!

We had fast easy check-in/check-out. Micheal at the front desk was more then a pleasure to meet. He was very kind, polite, knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful.

Extremely clean, comfortable and functional rooms with good furniture. Staff was good. Breakfast is okay and has bagels, bread and berries for vegans. Very convenient location which is not too far from EWR, NYC, etc. lot of restaurant choices near by. Would stay there again.

I usually look for safety when we can stay. And Holiday inn Express Woodbridge didn't dissapoint. Felt safe even going outside the parking lot at 12AM. It was well lit and the area, though it's roadside, feels quiet.

Great price. The room and the hotel were clean and comfortable. Staff was great. The only minor issue was traffic noise on the front of the hotel. Otherwise, great stay.

Clean room. Nice convenient place to stay. Easy parking. Close to gas, food, stores.

The pool is horrendous and quite frankly unsafe. The amount of chlorine in the pool made my eyes burn upon entry to the pool room and made me feel like my throat was burning. Also, the pool looks dirty and mucky. You cannot see the bottom of the pool. Whoever burned every single last one of the omelettes needs a refresher course because why is EVERY SINGLE OMELETTE BURNT?! Staff was very nice.

We travel several times a year and this location WAS the best spot but now their once full breakfast is now muffins coffee and cheese eggs! My Autistic son looked forward to the potatoes that’s no longer offered. Please advertise as Continental Breakfast and the rates should reflect as well.

I usually stay at Holiday inn Express and am usually very happy. But not so this time. It was so noisy a large group of young lady ds were staying and they were on the third floor. All I heard all ni was running and jumping loud bangs and thumps. Also the beds were horrible. Hard with a large dip in them both. The breakfast was not very good either. There were no gluten-free options. And the coffee is always horrible.

The property was in a good location for where we needed to be. Surprisingly there was a hot tub we weren't expecting but was so full of chlorine that everyone had burning eye and we were all sneezing. The hotel was close to the road so it was very noisy at night and hard to sleep. Walls were very thin so you could hear your neighbor quite clearly. Breakfast was not to my liking. Eggs were salty, sausages were very over cooked and the pancake machine was broken. The coffee wasn't too bad though.

The breakfast pancake machine was not working the lady who was making the breakfast I asked if they had a waffle machine she started talking to me in Spanish and i told her I don’t speak Spanish they has no meat other than pork an I’m allergic to pork so wasn’t much of a variety , Saturday night my coworker went out to the store around midnight and had to wait and 10 to 15 for security to open the door when the desk clerk she looked at him and she knew he was staying there cause when we checked in she added his name to the room and told us that no one could come to the room beside us in which that’s the 1st time I ever heard that in my 3 years of working as a hotel Guest observer , Saturday morning we asking the cleaning lady to refill the shower soap she walked into the shower with her shoes on leaving dirt from her shoes in the shower and she only added a little wasn’t even half way and 2 of us had to shower ,Sunday my last morning there we could hear threw the vents someone arguing . . The heat didn’t warm up the room at all . I’ve machine wasn’t working had to go to 3rd floor to get ice , wasn't told that either while checking in … Friday my 1st night went down to the desk clerk which was a Gentleman and asked for plates and blankets and a sheet and that worked out , Due to not enough soap in room I went down Sunday morning and ask the desk clerk it was a older Gentleman for soap and that worked out . And we paid the noise across the street across the street acr

Overall it was a good place to stay. Breakfast was good, lots of options, pool and hot tub were clean with decent hours. The only problems I had was my ac leaked in the room.
