We were just looking for a no-frills, inexpensive place for an overnight stay close(ish) to the train station. This fit the bill, and it was completely basic. The room was about as small as it could be, but that was OK. It had a TV (we didn't turn it on), WiFi, a fridge, and a microwave. A shower (no tub). Oddly, what it lacked was a place to hang anything up. There was a tiny towel rack in the bathroom and that was it. No clothes hangers, no hooks on the wall or on the back of the bathroom door; nothing. We had to drape clothing over partially-open drawers of the dresser (you couldn't move around the room if they were open all the way). A pretty obvious thing that one would need in a hotel room, no?

Very small parking area (like court yard surrounded by rooms) that has garbage everywhere. Some people smoke marijuana right outside my door. Room was not clean and air damp with a window open to street that can not be closed, A/C could not remove the dampness indoor. Definitely not worth the $100 I paid for the room.

We chose this motel for price and location convenience, knowing full well that it was Budget with a capital B. The TV, Wi-Fi, heater, Microwave and Fridge worked and the shower was brisk and hot, and the bed was comfortable. The room was small, but so what? We just needed a place to sleep, and there are no complaints. Except this one: There is no place to hang anything up. Not one hook or hanger in the whole place. Want to hang up a coat? Sorry. Lay it on the bed. Your clean clothes for after the shower? Sorry. Lay them on the toilet. It's a mystery. If we ever stay there again, I'll make a mental note to bring a clothes rack...

It was ok. Clean and the towels were good. Bed had a pillow topper and was comfortable. Shower had good pressure. There were black out curtains which worked great. But, the parking spaces were very small- i had to squeeze out of my van to avoid hitting the car next to me. The toilet seat was worn and not attached properly. It is located on a VERY busy street so the traffic noise was constant. It was good for the 1 night that I needed to be in NJ for.

I checked in late at night and was surprised how nice it was. I went into the bathroom and for soem reason the heat was on which made zero sense it was 100 degree weather. After shutting the AC off to sleep the room became unbearable but at 1am I sucked it up while waking up in a sweat. When checking out I told the owner what happened and he argued with me with full attitude. I was told why didn't I switch rooms at midnight and that they could've solved the issue at that hour. Zero customer service and raising your voice solves nothing. The bed looked nice but was flat. Lucky I'm 170 because any larger person would've sunked right in. I also had a cockroach run across my laptop which made it tough to fall asleep. That morning I noticed blood on the floor and a gross dental pick that was never thrown out. He said it was paint lol. Will add the pic later. The family that owns this needs to learn what customer service is instead of hiding behind their window.

The room was dirty. There was blood stains on the sheets, stains on the walls, dirty bathroom and sand on the floor. There isnt even a beach nearby. I did not stay and the person there refused to refund me. I took pictures and have video evidence of the filth and me leaving.

Extremely rundown property. There are windows in the bathroom of the first-floor units with no window coverings - anyone can just look in! Walls are so thin you can hear everything outside. Area feels very unsafe.

The heat and A/C are in one unit in each room, they are controlled by the guest with a remote control - simple enough sounds easy until you find out at 130am the batteries in the remote dpn't work. It became so hot in the room I had to unplug the heater, then it become so cold it was insane - didn't sleep at all and left with the flu. SMH - I don't recommend or will not return myself.

The place was awful. I booked it as a last minute thing since they were the only ones with open rooms, That should’ve been my first warning. They gave me a broken bed, the bed caved in down the middle almost firming a “V” shape. Just awful save yourself the time and money.

I made a reservation through hotels and the front desk didn’t want to give me the room because I paid too cheap. And it was a busy season after hotels.com intervened and after driving 2 hours to get there and another hour and a half waiting in the parking lot. They were forced to give me the room

Didnt get that far with staying at hotel, setup a reservation a week or 2 in advance with option to pay for stay at office at checkin. The day i was supposed to stay at hotel i was working a late. I sent a a message to motel through hotels.com stating i was going to be late checking in and will be there by 10 to 11pm when i get out of work. Also called the receptionist early afternoon the day of checkin and told person i was also going to be late with checkin but still coming to hotel. Upon checkin was told that my reservation has been canceled by owner earlier cause i didnt c pay in advance to hold room. After giving them my itinerary for reservation they still denied my reservation and told me no vacancies. Very rude staff will never go to that hotel every again. Very rude and disrespectful

I reserved a room on 7/13 through Expedia checked in the hotel with management showing my reservation online confirmed, after showing my id several times as well. The property manager pretended that he didn't see the reservation. I requested an upgrade on the bed size and was told the amount would be 80.00 for the stay. I stated to the male front desk that I already reserved my stay through Expedia showing my reservation and ask since he was asking for cash payment would I be charged on my card the management stated no I could pay in cash and will not be charged double. I paid the front desk 80.00 in cash management deliberately didn't give me a cash receipt for cash payment, and I was also charged on my card for the amount of the reservation which was paid for in the amount of 86.03. I tried several attempts to contact management even going back to location in request of cash receipt for stay on 7/13 check out 7/14 around 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. no resolution no response.

Extremely rundown property. There are windows in the bathroom of the first-floor units with no window coverings - anyone can just look in! Walls are so thin you can hear everything outside. Area feels very unsafe.

Booked a non smoking room, the room I was given smelled of smoke. There were guests loitering around the premises at all hours. I guess you get what you pay for. If you just need somewhere to sleep for the night and don’t mind traffic at all hours then this place might work for you. If you want peace and quiet then no.

Off a state highway in NJ, fine if you're driving but if you're taking the NJ transit it's a little tricky to get to. The motel is bare bones and there's a lot of ghetto people that stay there.

Floor was dirty and bath room Is not good . Surrounding off hotel was not clean . Ac was not noisy and it’s very near to road , too much noise from vehicles .

It was ok. Clean and the towels were good. Bed had a pillow topper and was comfortable. Shower had good pressure. There were black out curtains which worked great. But, the parking spaces were very small- i had to squeeze out of my van to avoid hitting the car next to me. The toilet seat was worn and not attached properly. It is located on a VERY busy street so the traffic noise was constant. It was good for the 1 night that I needed to be in NJ for.

The toilet was a new toilet but behind the toilet seat cover was filthy!! had yellowish dirty stain it wasn't cleaned properly..the room was too small for the money..the internet was not good i couldn't connect i left as early as i could but the cable was great!! And the fridge and microwave was good the sheets were clean and the bathroom supplies was ok!! The parking was good too!!..

It was only $80 for the night and not worth more; seedy motel, room was tiny, didn't even have a closet or a hook to hang clothes, the bed was like sleeping on the floor and the walls are paper thin; a couple next door was having a screaming match all night and I got no sleep at all. No one in the office when I checked out in the morning, just a slot to drop off the key. I would have been better off sleeping in the car.

when first arrived was given a room. when I entered the room, I went to turn on the a/c, and it wasn't working. The wall where the a/c was plugged in was torn away and dangling. I went to the front desk, and they told me that I didn't know how to turn it on. so, they sent the repair man to the room to show me how to turn it on. Even the repair man said that the whole wall that the a/c was plugged into was blown. It was 97 degrees out I wasn't going to stay in a room with no a/c. I had to beg them to give me another room. they made me wait 2 hours for a new room outside in 97-degree weather. the pictures they have online aren't the same that you get. I would never stay there again.
