Check in was quick, not too personable. The bar staff was excellent and friendly. As far as the parking lot, please fix the lights, signs all around about keeping cars safe but lights aren’t working, please do your share.

The property had a car show and convention not mentioned online, there was a ron of people in and out of rooms buying and selling cars till midnight. There was cockroaches in the pool area as well as the room, will not stay again nor would i recommend. We called and asked for an extra blanket and was told they were to busy and we had to go for it. This stay was not the greatest.

This hotel could’ve been nice if they have a small fridge in the room like any other hotels. They also don’t have a microwave in the room, you have to go to the lobby to use one. Their outlets located on the headboard don’t work as well, there were 4 and none of them works. There is one outlet on the side but for some reason it was loose. Keep in mind that the bathroom doesn’t have any vents and the carpet smells funky. This hotel needs some renovation for improvement.

When we arrived, reservation secured and confirmed (I’d even spoken to the hotel earlier in the day to tell them that we’d be arriving a bit later in the day), we were told that there were no rooms available. NONE! What a great way to start our vacation! We had to drive all over Albuquerque scrounging for a room for that night. That was no easy job. I’ve been staying at Marriotts for many years, but I never will again! And I will certainly be spreading the word. This hotel’s staff members should be ashamed of themselves. They were curt, unsympathetic, and had the worst customer service. What an utter disappointment.

Paid for a double bed room which cost extra. Got a single king bed. Asked the front desk and they first said they had a note saying I requested a single bed instead of the 2 beds I chose and paid for which isn’t true (why would I pay extra just to ask for the single bed). Then he said chose “first come first serve” on rooms when I checked in that is why I got a king? Whatever that means. Paid $615 for 2 nights. Tried to check in at 3:30 and rooms weren’t ready till 4. Which is a ridiculous policy for a hotel but whatever. After I told the front desk I didn’t know anything about a “first come first serve” he offered me a rollaway bed which I said I’d rather have my 2 beds since my 64 year old mom and 4 month old son were with me. Then he said “unfortunately we are sold out for the night” so basically they sold my room to someone else. No apology or even care for what was going on. He said he couldn’t refund me or reimburse me anything because I went through hotels.com and would have to speak to them. So I did. They contacted the hotel on my behalf and told them to call back later when the supervisor was back. So they did. And I got offered restaurant vouchers… again no apology or acknowledgement of them screwing up my reservation. Didn’t take the vouchers. Ridiculous treatment and lack of care for our stay. Drove 9 hours and then can’t even relax in a bed. My mother slept on a couch. Not to mention the AC was awful and didn’t keep the room cool. Will def not be back.

I had high expectations for this hotel since it is the Marriott but, I was disappointed. From check in the front desk man was rude. I booked for a king bed room and I went into my room it was not a king room went back to the front desk and he just said give me your key all rude and changed my room to what I thought would now be a king bed room it was not at this point my husband and myself were annoyed so we just kept it. The restroom was horribly dirty the shower floor was black, the art in the wall was all dusty. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in you would sink in the middle plus it had an odd smell. Thank goodness we only stayed one night. In checkout I did let the front desk know about my room not being a king bed room and showed the photos I took of how dirty the shower was and all she did was say sorry didn’t even offer to at least give us a discount since I did pay for a king bed room. Never again will I stay at a Marriott hotel.

First day…..Standard ok hotel room. Nice comfortable king bed. Sort of surprised there was no mini fridge as they only supply it on request. Second day….absolutely cheesed off and annoyed with very poor service. Requested basic room service for bins, towels,cups when heading out around 9am. Arrive back around 3pm with no action at all. Called front desk for typical “Yes sir, certainly, will get it sorted etc”….called around 4.30 with still no action….called again around 5.30 with still no action…staff members seem arrogant and disinterested…..ended up going to front desk to get towels ourselves…..staff still arrogant. Now 10 pm still no further action….bins still with rubbish. Very poor responses.No more Marriott’s for us.

The hotel was very comfortable with great views. The only fall was no fridge in the room. Also, Food option at the hotel was overly overpriced. The restaurant next to the hotel Buca di Beppo was terrible. The best option was Madeline cafe across the street. Loved having access to target and Trader Joe’s across the way.

This property is a great place to stay for access to Uptown for dining and shopping it’s also close to the interstate and centrally located. I feel safe leaving my car in the parking lot and have stayed here twice this year without issue. The rooms are clean and the staff is welcoming.

Many restaurants around that are walkable 5-10 minutes. Easy parking. Easy check in. Nice bar/food area. Clean and safe area with nice staff. Indoor/outdoor heated pool made the experience more pleasant. Very nice and clean rooms with coffee makers and large fridge. Has Netflix available to log into on the tv. Room service available. Good prices

The pool was really nice and the whole facilty was very clean. Staff was all very friendly. My only complaint is the breakfast at the hotel. It was very expensive and not high quality for the high price. The menu said my selection had cheddar cheese and it actually had cheap American cheese slices. It was awful. The sourdough bread wasn’t really sourdough. Just white thinly sliced bread. I was charged $5 for a cup of regular coffee when it was free in the lobby. I paid $70 for 3 meals and two cups of coffee. The coffe was also cheap quality. It gave my daughter and I terrible stomach aches. I will not be staying here again due to horrible, expensive breakfast.

Room was cramped and not clean altough intially looked ok.Bathtub had soap scum and bottom of toilet not clean. It took two days to get it cleaned. The carpet was not clean, remnants of former tenants showed along the edges, and worn fibers caused a trip hazard. Mold is growing in the closet-which wasn't caught until the night before checkout. Room needs a deep clean. The swimming pool was not clean. Roaches and leaves floated on the water, dirt at the bottom, and filter clogged. Staff said they only clean it weekly, but given the temps above 90° for weeks on end, overhead trees dropping leaves into the outdoor pool, and so many people using it - it seems that cleaning should happen more often. When we went to breakfast no one was around to seat us so after a few minutes waiting, we decided to go to another restaurant in the area. The motel is showing its age, but the staff seems oblivious to its issues, or simply choose to ignore them.

I booked the Marriott since I had stayed with that brand all over the world. The first disappointment, the room was towards back corner of the hotel which overlooked the roof with equipment and the main intersection, even though I asked for a quiet room. What I got was a room that was lit up like a Christmas tree because of flood lights right outside the window. The room was warm despite ac running all night. I paid 250 for a nicer hotel (not even including breakfast) but the room was not that tidy. The restaurant was really good, the receptionist and staff super nice. I am not a stickler and am tolerant but when I pay a high price, I want my money’s worth and I do expect spotless rooms.
