Hotel Don Fernando de Taos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

I arrived very early but was still able to check in when I arrived! Check-in was fast and easy. The only negative I have is that the living rom (I had a 1-bedroom) was dark. The lights were a bit dim. Other than that the property is very nice and walkable. The property and rooms are decorated nicely, a nice southwestern theme.

It is a very neat place and has potential. It needs some improvement. The door didn't close very well on the room and some people might not notice that and their room gets broke into. The room could have been cleaner. Spider webs in the corner, hair on the counter in the bathroom, mirror wasn't fully cleaned in the bathroom, the lamps and furniture was dusty, the shower corners and behind the doors needed some attention. We did like the layout of the room and enjoyed our stay. There is room for improvement.

Room was clean but the shower head dribbled, the bed was so/so. The staff however were wonderful people especially at the breakfast.

A return visit to the Don in Taos! Great location on the southern end of the main drag. The indoor pool is always refreshing and the property has a nice southwest vibe. We had a good puppy dog with us so the property is spread out nicely that you don’t really notice too many other people. Had other options this year, but was happy to return to this property. For the price point, you can’t beat it!

The room was very clean and it smelled amazing when we first walked in. Everything was very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay!
