Das Ramada by Wyndham Reno Hotel & Casino bietet preisgünstige Zimmer, befindet sich jedoch in einer unsicheren Gegend. Aufenthalt am 1 Nacht

It’s an okay property; bed was comfortable enough, A/C worked but struggled to keep up on a hot (95º) summer day. The bathroom was clean and in good condition, and the room overall was pretty good sized, with a nice view of downtown. However, the property seems to be in an uncertain state. Hard to tell if it’s neglected or just going through some sort of repurposing. There’s a mini snack area by the front desk that looked like it should have candy, drinks, etc. — except that it was empty and chained shut. There’s what looks like it would be a bar or coffee shop area by the entrance to the casino, but it too seems to have been abandoned. Also, the front desk seems to be understaffed: 10-15 min wait. Basically, it doesn’t instill much confidence that this property is headed in a good direction. But the big immediate, practical problem was that Wi-Fi wasn’t working in my room or anywhere near it. I spent 20-30 minutes on the phone with the IT support line (offsite, covering lots of properties). In the end, they said it was a problem with the on-site equipment and they would call the hotel’s front desk to get someone to fix it. But it was never fixed during my stay. The only way I could get online was to take my laptop down to the fitness center: not the best environment for using a computer. So in summary, I think this hotel could be a reasonably good place to stay if a little work were put into it. But from my stay, I didn’t see any signs of that happening.

The front reception lady was absolutely amazing! check in was easy. The problems started when we got our FIRST room. We walked in and the entire room smelled like cigarette smoke and it was a non-smoking floor. The room looked like it was partially cleaned, but we noticed towels were used, trashed in every trashcan. There was a cup with cigarette ashes on the desk. The connecting room door was completely unlocked and opened. I went downstairs to let the receptionist know. Since the hotel was out of rooms she upgraded us to a suite. Well we were excited except we got to suite 1401 and it was extremely old and outdated. We needed 2 beds so the receptionist asked if I could take my stuff upstairs and come down for bedding for the pullout couch. When I went back upstairs with the bedding and NO pillows because the hotel was out of extra pillows. The pullout couch was completely broken on the frame and no mattress. You couldn’t even sleep on the cushions because you would fall through the frame. The 3 phones in the suite were broken & disconnected and therefore I had to call the front desk with my cellphone. The king bed was an old mattress that caved in the middle so you HAD to lay in the middle of the bed and you could feel the springs in your back and the amount of creaking the bed made Everytime you moved was horrible. The shower water pressure was minimal and didn’t shoot far so taking a shower was more effort than needed. I was thankful we only needed the room for 12 hours.

Is a bit old hotel, the floor carpets are not very clean (or doesnt look like it) the shower was amazing and the toleries and towels very good. The staff is so helpful and kind specially in the front desk, very profesional and with great advices to give. They are the best of the hotel. Again is not a bad hotel is just quite old.
