EV Charger Disconnected Mid Charge by Management Look, I get it. Its a Red Roof Inn, not the Ritz. Rooms are what you expect. But what I found to be appalling was that management had the ev charger reset in the middle of the night when they "didn't recognize my car". This was a huge breach in hospitality and EV charging etiquette. I drive a small PHEV, not a Tesla or other fully ev vehicle, meaning my car takes less than 20kwh and would have been done charging after another hour. Estimated energy for a full charge is less than $5. 1. This Red Roof, like most, is a highway travel stop. Only customers would bother parking here. There isnt much else nearby. 2. If you don't want to pay for the electricity, charge for it.

Check in was difficult. Door keys would not work in our door or to get in the hotel. Took a long time to repair that. Desk agent tried to get me to leave a 50 dollar bill for security deposit. I insisted I didnt have cash do just charge my visa. Instead he downgraded our room. Its a very noosy neighborhood so brimg ear plugs

Easy to get to off I-81. Applebee’s was less than a mile away. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic! The biggest downside was the only washing machine was out of order.

An older chain hotel renovated into a Red Roof Inn. Friendly and efficient staff. We had the accessible room which was close to the lobby, very clean and reasonably comfortable but small. Nice fridge and small microwave. Wifi was pretty good. Parking was ample. The location was quiet and we slept well. Relatively close to dining and shopping and I-81. Would stay at this hotel again.

It was ok. There's no elevator which made it a bit of work getting all luggage upstairs. They say they have hair dryers in room but you have to go check it out at front desk. I asked to not be disturbed the morning of check in as it was 3am when I got there and they woke me up at 9am asking if staying when I paid to stay two nights.

AC didn't work Bath tub is very slippery when wet. We had to put a towel down to feel safe. Coffee at breakfast was horrible. Tasted like hot water. Rooms and hotel very clean. Our van was sideswipped in parking lot. Very tight spaces so be very careful. No side cameras.

Got there at 4pm, our room wasn’t clean. Soap and towels from the last guests still sitting in bathroom and garbage not changed. The bed sheets in room one had large stains on them (likely a squirter?) and long black hairs all over the bed sheets. Looked like someone had spilt something on the floor and all over the bed frame. We asked for the room to be cleaned again, so the cleaner kicked us out of the room to clean but he only changed the bedsheets. Room number two stunk like wet cigarette butts, and the heat did not work. So they moved my friends to the room across the hall, which smelled even worse and the sink didn’t drain properly. Bathroom had a distinct sewage like odour so my friends had to come and use the bathroom in room one.

The room was filthy- the bathroom floor had dirt caked in corners. The towels are coarse and flimsy. I was told I had “superior” king room- it was literally a room with a king bed. The windows and doors are very flimsy and unsafe. You can hear everything!

I would like to note that I have never posted a negative review about anything online. But I cannot let this go. When we arrived, we were placed in a room that smelled like smoke and mold. The smell was so bad we walked straight back out and went back to the front desk to ask for a new room. The next room they put us in smelled better but the sheets did not cover the mattress, the mattress had stains on it, the lamp shade was ripped, the leather on the chair in the corner was rubbed away and the bathroom was filthy. It felt like a hotel you rent by the hour. Not a place we paid $300 to stay at after dropping our daughter at college. After the second room, we told them we could not stay at their inn. They indicated they would give us a refund if we contacted them through Expedia. We did that and they refused to honor the refund. DO NOT STAY AT THIS INN. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

The room is very clean and the hotel seems to be well maintained. It’s close to a very nice community park. As a big plus, the hotel offer free continental breakfast. We, my wife and our Labrador baby, have been staying in quite a few Red Roof Inn. This one is by far the best!

Besides waiting 15 minutes upon arrival for an employee to come at the reception, it was ok. Cool room and AC\heater is very noisy. It took a while to warm up. One exit door is close to our room, lots of banging door noises. No carpeting, which is good.

Very convenient from the highway and easy parking. The property itself was not quiet. There was a lot of noise all night, not just other guests - sounds like furniture being moved, banging, etc. Pillows were not comfortable for my preference.

Pillows are in serious need of replacing. I tried all 4 pillows in our room and ended up sleeping without a pillow. Toilet was not properly installed and rocks when you sit on it. We were on the first level and the people above us used their office chair to roll across the floor until 1 in the morning. With the carpets being gone and replaced by vinyl flooring, it has greatly reduced the sound proofing between floors.

I notified the front desk lady about our check out time around 12:00 noon instead of 11:00 am due to some emergency. And the lady told me that is fine and she mentioned that she will leave a note for the next shift employee. However the next shift person kept knocking our room starting at 11:00 am, my family were there in the room they told her about the late check out. When I came back yo hotel around 11:30 AM, and asked the second shift lady if she saw the late check out time or not. She was so upset at me and said “YOU CANT SATAY BEYOND 11:00 AM” She was very rude and disrespectful. So guest should know this before booking for staying in this hotel.

We had a two night stay, and were very pleased with the hotel. Check-in was quick. Front desk staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bedding and towels were clean and smelled fresh. Floors were clean and did not have any rugs (which is always a plus if you have allergies). TV only had about a dozen basic stations, no premium channels like hbo. But enough stuff to watch. AC/heater unit looked fairly new and it was quiet. Overall, our room was quiet too. No noise from neighbors or street noise. It’s far enough from the highway, so we did not hear any highway noise. Included Breakfast was good, but with exception of apples and oranges, was mostly carbs. Consisted of cereal, juice, coffee, milk, bagels, bread, waffle maker. Suggestion: an addition of eggs, yogurt, and/or oatmeal would balance things out. Location is a bit isolated, but we did not see any shady characters hanging around, or did not have to worry about our car…as I noticed were mentioned in some of the reviews. Overall, we had a great stay. We will be coming back again, and would definitely recommend!

I let them kow in an e-mail that I would be arriving late at night. Even though I'd paid for the room already and showed them my reciept showing I had paid for it they said they couldn't find my reservation and therefore could do nothing. After driving 3 and a half hours at night to the hotel this was absolutely not acceptable. I then had to call around at other hotels before gwtting ome to stay in but i lost the money on the first hotel with Red Roof Inn and I will not be using them again ever.

Make you put down security deposit of 60$ to stay. Not mentioned online and had to go to an atm not on site. Staff is limited and not very friendly/helpful. If I did not pay ahead of time would have turned around at the sound of a cash security deposit immediately.

Red Roof Inn was great. The rooms where clean, and the beds were comfortable. Close to a few places, like the gas startion, Mc Donalds, there is a great park and baseball field.

Friendly, bright, clean and cheery. The only reason I couldn’t give this room absolutely 100% marks is they had defrosted the mini fridge and left towels on the floor and there was standing water all around. It wasn’t horrible. I used towels from the bath to sop up extra and there was a smell inside fridge which I did not use. Otherwise totally clean and updated room and building. Great waffles, get your coffee and OJ somewhere else. It’s not Starbucks. Ha. But hey, it’s included. I’d stay again anytime and highly recommend!

Our room was very clean and had all the extras some may need like fridge, microwave, coffee pot and coffee. Building was also very well kept and staff very friendly. Breakfast is included with your stay, bread, bagels or waffles was the option. Fridge and yogurt would be great grab and go options to add!

The staff was very sweet and always available. Very disappointed about the breakfast they included in our stay. Only thing that was offered was water downed coffee from a machine, juice that had a bug in it, stale bagels, and very old cereal... There was also noise from other people staying there, I complained, but next more a loud dog kept barking. Wish the staff could be more vocal about letting people know about being quiet when we are sleeping. The hotel is convenient but I will not stay here again.

Overall, the hotel was clean and staff were nice. Outside is well-lit if you come back after dark. Our room had a serious problem with the AC as the humidity in the room was horrible--everything was damp all the time. We told the front desk about the problem, we were told there wasn't a problem. The fridge in the room was filthy. Room service was spotty (beds made one day, next two days not); Towels provided two days, third day none. Breakfast was meh. We arrived 30 minutes before close of breakfast the first day there and there was no milk or waffle batter--we went out for breakfast every day after that. Not sure I would stay here again.

Desk attendant was pleasant and processed quickly; unfortunately given ROOM 121 is something no one needs to use; 20’ from front desk, 10’ from vending and guests entering left or right; and last…what room was above was NOISER than ever; almost sounded like a utility closet. Just my opinion and perspective.
