Says its remodeling. Bit all there is baseboards removed. Filthy carpets. Overflowing garages. Exposed wiring in room from missing smoke detectors.

Made a last minute decision to stay at this location. Pictures looked great. But inside was a whole different story. They said they were undergoing renovations so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Bathroom had no toilet paper and one towel. The standup shower had a cracked and peeling floor. And ilwhen you stepped by the drain it kind of dipped down. The WiFi was horrible. Couldn’t connect at all. There were two pillows as flat as a sheet of paper. No blanket or comforter on bed. Just a fleece throw. And the sheets were ripped in the corners. And the door to the room was slanted and had to use a kick or Mr rear end to push it closed. Overall very disappointing and only stayed because of limited options

The building in general wasn’t in top shape old carpeting and a strange smell throughout. Garbage on the grounds outside around the dumpster. The room itself was in decent shape. They’re undergoing construction so maybe things will get better. It’s a budget priced hotel but next time I’ll stay elsewhere.

Filthy, from the entrance to our room. Our room's floor was wet from just being mopped. You could still see food while it was still wet. I would say they never vacuumed the floor, just mop the dirt in. Later, I noticed my bare feet were black in 15 minutes. Bathroom door was loose at the hinges and there was 1/4" interference from the door closing. Missing the striker on the door frame. Looked like a rat chewed the opening. Only 1 small bar of soap at the sink. No soap or shampoo for the shower. Only one towel supplied. We had to ask for supplies. Couch had a large stain on it and lots of lint etc.. on the surfaces. The bed!!! Sunken mattress in the middle, bottom sheet turned inside out and had a stain on it. Maybe their idea of fresh sheets is to turn them over. Next sheet was on backwards and very wrinkled. May not have seen a washing machine since the last people were in there. Windows have visible mold on them. TV wouldn't work. Spoke to the counter person who said to remind him when we returned in a couple of hours. Returned and had to find the counter person( of the 8 times we went by the counter, he was only there once, we had to track him down 7 times). He said he fixed the tv while we were out. Checked the tv when we got in the room and it wasn't working. Contacted him and he said he must have done the wrong room. No business center, coffee, no tea common room and no vending machines. To add insult they charged me $448CAN ($326 US) for 2 nights. Worst place by far!!

A sweet hideaway without meaning to be one! It is in a very peaceful setting, tucked away from the urban noise of busy living. Management and housekeeping are super friendly, very hospitable, and readily available, but without initiating any disruption of privacy and/or anonymity- making it a great spot for a respite from the hustling amidst the city streets, yet you won’t feel far at all from any downtown events, venues or sightseeing that might beckon you. There is laundry on site, great WiFi, a fridge and microwave in very clean rooms, and a nice little sanctuary-like seating area out back. Again, where I come from, prices like this get you rooms where showers call for footwear, and it’s best to BYOB (bring your own bedding).Clearly I can’t say enough, because the truth is, my stay involved a period of healing and much needed rest. It was an act of a good God that of the many various rooms and rentals surrounding, this place, I ended up in a personal haven that was was just right, without ever breaking the bank. Could it use improvements? Sure, but so could the Hilton so none worth mentioning! I definitely recommend it for the inexpensive cost and for leaving with a grateful heart! Godspeed!

The place is very quiet and affordable but it would be better if there is a secure wifi, toothpaste and some cleanliness with respect to cockroaches.

There was no room service. The bathtub had a partial ring of dirt. Hall carpets were filthy. A board with screws sticking out was on rhe crooked clothes rack. Otherwise it was inexpensive, everything worked: lights, heater/airconditioner, hot water. Key card did not work the 2nd night but quickly fixed.

The interior is being updated but there were multiple issues in my room and throughout the property. There's missing door trim at bathroom door. Peeling paint or wallpaper in the bathroom. The door at the rear entrance is in need of lubrication. There's multiple holes in the walls where shelves or other things were and have fallen out. Poor lighting at rear parking lot. The coat rack on the wall is falling out. The only positive was that the bed was comfortable and interior was quiet.

Only one of my two rooms was ready at check in. When we finally got the second room it had bed bugs. Then we were told there were no more rooms available. We eventually got one but the whole place was dirty and under renovation. Don’t stay here.

Definitely not worth the price. Just a place to sleep for one night.. 1. Rooms were not cleaned properly 2. Dated furniture and bathroom 3 stained rugs 4 linens were quite stained and old.pillow cases were actually yellow. 5 All the hallways stunk like weed.

The room smelled like marijuana. There were bugs on the ceiling, there were no towels, and there were stains on the pillow cases. I also found old food caked on the desk that had not been cleaned in a while. Do not recommend at all.

I stayed at the Syracuse Inn 2+ yrs ago, when they first took over the Super 8 & doing a lot of construction. I thought it was in good shape for doing all of the work, but I had a cockroach in my room & I was a little upset. So, I've stayed in Syracuse a dozen times in the last 2 years, each time passing on staying at the Syracuse Inn. This time, I said its been 2 yrs & I only needed one quick night, so I booked the Syr. Inn. I was there 45 mins when a small cockroach came out from under the desk. I was upset - could not believe it, and then I killed the bug. Middle of the night, I got up to use the bathroom and another cockroach was near the desk. It quickly went under & I couldn't believe it. Also, the bathroom had a huge puddle in the middle of the floor from a ceiling leak and the shower floor was pretty gross. Towels ALL had some sort of stain on them too.

Cockroaches in the room. Housekeeping didn't clean the room after the first night. Only provided 1 towel per person, had to ask the staff for clean towels the next day since they didn't clean the room and provide new ones.

Place was dirty very dirty caulking around tub, black broken light fixtures. Bed was held up by blocks a ceiling exhaust fan just barely hanging off the wall, garbage and building supplies around building. Definitely not a place that should be on Expedia. I cannot believe you was being involved with such an Establishment.

Our bathroom floor felt like it was water damage, felt unsafe people hanging out in hallways . And by back doors. Trash cans outside were overflowing for two days . I will not stay here again.

Our room was dirty. Burn holes from cigarettes or Marijuana on the bedspreads. There was long hair all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom door didn't want to shut and the door itself was disgustingly filthy.. The room wasn't vacuumed. The hallway reecked of marijuana. We couldn't wait to leave that place. Will be calling their headquarters. Big sign out front said remodeled!!

A lot of roaches. Smelled bad trash out in the hall way.

When we walked in, their was stains all over the furniture, mold in the bathroom, the bathroom door was broken among many things their was cigarette burn holes even tho it was a non smoking room and i found a dead cockroach.

Bed was comfortable but room was sparse and has a lot of drywall dust. If you're just looking someplace to lay your head for a few hours, it's serviceable.

They are clearly still renovating. The pictures on this website aren’t indicative of what this place actually looks like. Check-in was fine, staff was friendly. Hallway smelled like weed (couldn’t smell it in the room). Sheets were clean but didn’t smell laundered. Looks like all fixtures were just moved over 2 inches and then the old placement never repaired. Other reviews aren’t wrong, but we didn’t run into any sketchy, door locked fine, TV worked fine, AC was noisy (didn’t bother us), they use the OLD Cuse logo which is kind of awesome, no cleaning service during stay. Overall, probably wouldn’t stay again but it wasn’t the worst experience. We don’t hang in the room, just sleep and then go out. Price was inflated (likely due to Labor Day, state fair, and football game).

We had to request a new room, the first one looked like the door was kicked in, the frame was so loose and the deadbolt wouldn't lock. The inside of the bathroom door was clawed by an animal and only had 2 hinges. Felt unsafe, and when I complained, the guy at the desk was rude and said there was nothing wrong with the door.

Floors clearly haven't been swept or cleaned. Bathroom door is warped and wouldn't close. Bathroom fan so horribly loud you cannot have it on. Window was broken and unable to lock. Window curtain soooo ghetto! Hooks missing almost looked like a blanket partially covering window. King bed had huge sinkhole in the middle. Pillows smelled like someone's dirty ass was on it. Trash by the stairwell stunk up the hallway. No trashcan in the room just the bathroom. No tissues.

The room was fine and very clean. There were some issues of plaster on the ceiling and wall in the bathroom. The tub was a little dingy as were some of the towels. The cable was spotty, but I could watch some channels. This hotel also did not allow visitors which was very strange. I've never heard of this policy at a hotel. I just needed a place to stay overnight, but if I were there longer and if I wanted my family to visit me, they couldn't? I'm not sure if I would stay there again because of their visitor policy.

Hallways Smelled of cigarette smoke and facility is very worn. Room was clean but basic. Price was great though.

The room was okay. My towel had something stuck to it that would not come off. My tub looked like it needed to be cleaned so i had to lay an extra towel on the floor to shower comfortably. There was a drinks vending machine but it only had one flavor of soda in it so no water which for me is VERY essential. And the hotel attendant tried to tell me he didnt see my reservation at first until i stood firm and showed him my reservation email. There was also something on my pillow so I had to cover it with a piece of my clothing before putting my face on it

The best and worst part of our stay had to do with Staffing. The guy who checked us in could not have been nicer or more friendly! He even asked if there was anything he could do to make our stay more enjoyable. The worst part was that the check in time was the ONLY time that anyone was working at the office during our entire stay. Each morning, a pile of room keys were on the counter when we'd leave each morning. Our room was not cleaned a single time during our four days!

Staff was veryfriendly

It was more what I didn't like. The man took my driver's license at the front desk, and didn't return it to me with the room key. That meant that I drove home from Syracuse to Belleville, ON without a driver's license without know it until I got the message from the property that my driver's license is still there. There was no one at the front desk when we checked out. Someone should have left a message in the room for us while we were out of the room. There wasn't any drinking glass for water in the room, and I did get a couple of styrofoam cups from the front desk. The beside lamp closest to the window didn't work. Overall, I can promise we will never stay there again.

I almost got killed when the guy from front desk gave me a wrong room key and when the guy with a gun steps out when i tried to unlock “my” room.

The folks are always nice & helpful. The rooms are always clean & comfortable. The appliances always work. Lots of hot water. I tell friends about this place--it is a bargain!

This is a low grills property with a fantastic staff, spotless rooms and comfy beds. Could not ask for anything more. So glad I chose this property in my travels!

Not a bad place to stay at at a reasonable price. No overt odors and the room seemed reasonably well insulated from road noise despite its proximity to major thorofares.

it was alot better than i thought after reading 2 star and only paying $60 loved the king bed. very quiet too.

It's not the Ritz Carlton and you shouldn't expect that. It's a safe location in the midst of a renovation. Close to major highways. Comfortable bed. TV got channels. The door locked. No frills. No fuzz. Quiet, and a great place to stop and rest.

Terrible place to stay. No coffee in the room, or lobby. No places anywhere close by to get any. No cup, glass or anything to use for brushing your teeth, or getting a glass of water. At check-in we had to call the desk clerk on our cell phone because there was no one at the desk. Only a note with a phone number to call. We he did come in he was shabbily dressed, carrying a gallon spray bottle of roach, and bug killer. (What a great first impression that was.) The price was cheap, but the whole experience was not still worth the money.

No breakfast as advertised. No maid service for our 2 night stay. The hotel has a sign that says new management and newly renovated. It is currently under construction. We were given an old room (i hope it wasnt newly renovated!) With stained carpet, holes in the walls and worn comforters. Literally walked on new padding with rolls of carpet. Good luck to new management but call ahead to see if they offer new rooms or even have a breakfast-one of the conveniences that I needed.
