Generally good; however, there were signs posted that the water service was going to be out on Friday from 8am to 4pm. No specific reason for the outage. This was hard. I was planning to leave around 10am but I made sure I was out and on the road before 7am.

The room I booked was supposed to have 2 double beds, they put us in a single queen. I had to go back to get a different room at the front desk. The place listed a gym, it had none. “Free breakfast” was a granola bar and coffee. It didn’t even have an ice machine!

The staff was nice, the bed snd pillows were comfy enough and the shower had good pressure. There were used soda cans behind the furniture, which is why we clicked dirty, othrrwise it wasn't "dirty". It was annoying that they dont put basics like utensils and coffee maker in the room, you have to call down and request them.

The man who checked us in was courteous. We appreciated the luggage carts. The room was "adequate minus." The floor was very sticky. We had to ask for washcloths, as none were left in our bathroom. It was a place to sleep for a few hours, nothing more. All of our luggage had to be placed on the sofa and counter because of the sticky floors. When we went to check out we couldn't find a person at the desk. I knocked on the laundry room door, and the person doing the laundry took my room entry cards. It was a bit strange. I don't think we'll stay there again.

I've stayed here a few times over all the times I've lived in the area. Typically I was eager to stay here mostly for convenience but also because it seemed cleaner and nicer than it's sister hotel across the street (which was one of the worst experiences of my life) Alas, this last time makes me wonder if I will ever stay there again. Thankfully I hadn't unpacked I just leaned back on the bed and a bed bug made it's way past my face on my pillow. I would have left then and there but part of the reason I was there was because my car was in the shop. I was moved to another room. That room had no aircon. I get moved again- the room is in far better shape but there is water damage in the bathroom. Given my options I take the water damage as it's already well past midnight at that time. I had taken a picture of the bed bug and instead of letting me just email it to someone in charge at the hotel I had to walk my phone to the lobby at 7am. They didn't do anything but look at the photo ultimately. Later I found giant (what I think were spider bites?) all on my right side. After 4 hours of sleep and all the inconvenience I was never offered even so much as a refund on my first night. The people were nice- I simply wish the hotel was better taken care of. I don't know if I'll ever be back now after this extremely terrifying experience.

Looks are deceiving the pictures that are on the website are nice inside the hotel is kind of dingy smelled of marijuana throughout the hallways. Never felt really safe but nothing happened just felt very uncomfortable there. Next time I'm in the area I will spend a little extra to stay somewhere different.

I liked location to highway. Plenty of food options nearby. A/C worked well. Room was clean. I wished there was a mug or plate handy instead of having to go requesting and waiting. The odor to both rooms because of the history of cooking in the room was gross. Even the lobby had a terrible odor which didn’t make a first good impression.

The room was clean but old and not well maintained. The lay out wasn’t good because the TV blocked getting from bed to bathroom. The refrigerator and HVAC were loud. The furniture was heavily worn. The closet was small, fine for our day trip but I couldn’t see that working for an extended stay.

The room was fine. A bit small and certainly no frills but clean. The staff was very helpful a quick to get the bedding and kitchen supplies we needed for our stay. I found the bed to be uncomfortable and woke up with a backache but my son and husband were fine with it.

Arrive and the room I booked on hotels.com was not available. Was told I had to pay an up charge to get a room. Had no choice after driving hours to get there. Weird room. Only 1 bedside lamp for a queen sized bed in a suite. No AC or fan in the bedroom at all. Kitchen floor was dirty and the stove looked ancient (glad we did not need to cook).

Well when I checked in to the Extended Stay at 25 Merritt Blvd in Fishkill NY, the guy behind the desk seemed like he had an attitude, he tried to charge me per night, when I had already told him that I was checking in and that I already had reservations, I showed him my phone with my reservation details, it seemed like he didn't know what he was doing honestly, then he asked if I had a pet and was it a service animal, I told him yes I have a cat 😺 and no not a service animal, then he tried to charge me for my pet, I told him that the other hotel, same name, didn't charge me, then finally he gave me my room key 🗝️, I go to the room and the room is already occupied, so I go back downstairs and tell him he gave me keys to an occupied room and he said oh sorry 😔, I was really upset already, so he finally gives me the right key to the room, this took like almost 30 minutes to check into my room, honestly I was really upset and it shouldn't have happened to begin with

Front desk is not staffed, sign on window that says they are busy helping other guests but they are assigned other duties such as vacuuming the halls, etc three days I saw one time the desk was staffed. Also promotes full kitchen yet there are no dishes, glasses, silverware. Drawers are completely empty. There’s a sign that says call the front desk to have items delivered, I called and was told they are unable to deliver but I can pick them up in an hour? No coffee maker unless you go get one from the front desk.

Booked this as a stop over. The area had plenty of eating places but the hotel was awful. The staff checking us in was rude and ignorant, he really didn’t lie his job. The rooms were noisy and although the bed was comfortable the rooms were old and scruffy. Check out was much better very polite young woman. Won’t stay there again.

No smiles or greeting at check in. Clerk didn't inform us about breakfast. Long wait to check in. Room was very dark, not enough lighting. No night lights during the night to find your way to the bathroom in the pitch dark. No clock in the room. Breakfast in the morning was a joke. Just coffee and a few granola bars, plus stale muffins. Breakfast area very dirty. We would not stay there again.

Our family rented 4 rooms and stayed over a long weekend for a funeral. The staff was amazing and did everything to accomodate us including a dog. They were personable and caring, timely and helpful! The Assistant Manager Stephanie remembered calls, got extra blankets and worked her best to place rooms convenient to one another. Daisha general manager and another found schedule allowed for late noon checkout (not always available, but went beyond to do). Top stars for cleanliness. Building is a bit dated, but the heat was tops for room and shower in the 5 degree snowy weather. Walkways were ssfe and well salted. Hotel is next to Cracker Barrel and diner that took large parties and walkable shopping including Walmart. 25 Merritt is the Extended Stay America to stay at (not 55 down the road!).

Our family rented 4 rooms and stayed over a long weekend for a funeral. The staff was amazing and did everything to accomodate us including a dog. They were personable and caring, timely and helpful! The Assistant Manager Stephanie remembered calls, got extra blankets and worked her best to place rooms convenient to one another. Daisha general manager and another found schedule allowed for late noon checkout (not always available, but went beyond to do). Top stars for cleanliness. Building is a bit dated, but the heat was tops for room and shower in the 5 degree snowy weather. Walkways were ssfe and well salted. Hotel is next to Cracker Barrel and diner that took large parties and walkable shopping including Walmart. 25 Merritt is the Extended Stay America to stay at (not 55 down the road!).

Have stayed ESA in many location, most of them are good but this one is very good. Clean and neat with fresh towels and amenities, quiet despite of close to busy streets, responsive staff. One small request is,,,avoid empty reception/front desk particularly general check-in hours. In any event, I could stay very comfortable.

This was my first time staying in the Extended Stay America Suites in Fishkill on Merritt Blvd., Route 9, and I doubt it shall be my last. The check-in staff were very professional and friendly, and the other staff members I encountered during my stay were also professional and friendly, too. I especially enjoyed how spacious my room was and how safe and easy it was for me to walk from the hotel to my favorite Flory's convenience store location.

Looks are deceiving the pictures that are on the website are nice inside the hotel is kind of dingy smelled of marijuana throughout the hallways. Never felt really safe but nothing happened just felt very uncomfortable there. Next time I'm in the area I will spend a little extra to stay somewhere different.

I liked location to highway. Plenty of food options nearby. A/C worked well. Room was clean. I wished there was a mug or plate handy instead of having to go requesting and waiting. The odor to both rooms because of the history of cooking in the room was gross. Even the lobby had a terrible odor which didn’t make a first good impression.

No smiles or greeting at check in. Clerk didn't inform us about breakfast. Long wait to check in. Room was very dark, not enough lighting. No night lights during the night to find your way to the bathroom in the pitch dark. No clock in the room. Breakfast in the morning was a joke. Just coffee and a few granola bars, plus stale muffins. Breakfast area very dirty. We would not stay there again.

The entire property was dingy and our “nonsmoking” room reeked of stale smoke. In fact it reeked of pot when we walked in the lobby and we could smell cigarette smoke coming out of nonsmoking rooms on our hall on the way to the room. The room was adequate in furnishings but the floor was sticky — all over. The brekfast was a bit of a joke - coffee only out in those few hours and breakfast was just bars, prepackaged muffins or plain oatmeal packets with nothing to put on it. Ended up checking out early and getting breakfast at Panera next store. When we asked for refund for the second night because of the smoke they didn’t hesitate and also never apologized.

Advertised breakfast, but had only coffee, hot chocolate, oatmeal pouches and granola bars. Rooms are very dated, thus was an emergency trip for a funeral. If given more time to find accommodations, I likely would not choose this hotel again. Check in staff were great though!

We booked a room with a sofa bed but the sofa bed did not have sheets. We went to the lobby and they gave us a pile of sheets--it was DIY, youth-hostel-style. The bathroom had soap but no shampoo, though there was a sign saying we could get shampoo at the front desk. Front desk called us at 10PM, waking up my kid, for a weird + pointless courtesy call to ask if everything was OK. Breakfast was minimal--not much aside from shrinkwrapped muffins and instant oatmeal. Other than the strange service, the room was fine, though I was certainly expecting more amenities for the price point.

This is the first hotel and we have stayed in some dumps, this is the first hotel with no shampoo and hair dryer. The continental breakfast is ridiculous. Nothing but chocolate muffins and multigrain bars.

Rooms rugs had red stains possibly blood droplets. Did not have shampoo in room. Outside back door dog poo on 2second day and still there following day when checking out. No one at desk when checking out. Advertised breakfast included all they offered was a poor selection of cheap prepackaged muffins and nutri bars. With watery coffee. Will not be staying at extended stay again.

This place is a dump. Worst hotel I have stayed at in 20 years. It doubles as a residential facility with many of their residents standing outside smoking cigarettes and pot. The room was battered. The refrigerator was missing a handle. The couch was threadbare. Would definitely recommend people look elsewhere. It was cheaper than the competition.

The parking lot smelled of marijuana. The hallway on our floor smelled like urine and our room had a cat pee odor. We brought our Keurig for making coffee but there were no cups to use or spoons/plastic ware to stir coffee. No ice machines in the entire building and our ice machine in the freezer did not work. The front desk clerk was helpful and friendly however and the location is convenient but we will not stay there again.

No more coffee or limited breakfast in the morning, that room has been emptied. Hallways smell like urine, no front desk help, signs up be back in a hour or front desk closed till 8am. A friend of ours went to check in with a paid reservation and he was told they didn't have a room for him and couldn't refund his money, he would have to call on Monday. We were also hit with a bunch of fees at checkin for utilities, housekeeping charge,and additional deposit that brought our total up another $90 from what we were quoted and charged online at hotels.com. travelers beware! Also they could not provide us a recipt, claimed they e mailed it twice,never received.
