Spacious room (for NYC), with luxurious bath. Lots of thoughtful in-room amenities such as USB port, outlets on each side of bed, and a real coffee maker. Bar, restaurant within the hotel, numerous dining options close by. Convenient to Brooklyn bridge, Staten Island ferry.

Cool spot within the Seaport area. Hotel was great. Room was large with giant terrace overlooking the East River and the Brooklyn Bridge. Lots to walk around to. It is far south and east so just know Midtown is a half hour away. That being said I really liked this hotel.

We had a great time and service was great. They claim 5 stars status but I think that's a stretch. 4-4.5 yes, but not 5. No pool and gym is microscopic. Cannot fit more than 1-2 people. But the location is incredible and the restaurant is quite good. Service was awesome. They went above and beyond for my wife's birthday trip. Overall, this place is a gem. Would, and likely will, stay here again.

The upgrade was nice but, you can tell the grounds are old by the windows. The windows in my suite did not fully close, so there was always a giraffe that came in. In addition, the gym facility was also outdated and a bit old as far as the infrastructure of the space. All in all, I had a great stat. The staff was amazing and extremely accommodating. I would just say for this to be a boutique hotel at the price that they charge there are some updates that need to be made to the building.

Rooms was poorly cleaned, windows dirty even saw a bug in the room when I was checking out I was staying in room 306. Staff at check in was excellent staff in breakfast area very bad got orders wrong several times made it feel like it was our fault never a I am sorry we got this wrong. etc. Had continental breakfast included really poor if you don't like sugar for breakfast. I suggest you change that to something better or just don't have it at all.

The experience at this hotel was very disappointing and far from what was advertised. The photos on the website did not match reality. Our first room smelled strongly of weed, had a ceiling barely 2 meters high, and was practically windowless. When we asked to change rooms, we were shown two alternatives none of which matched the pictures online. I requested an upgrade or at least some form of compensation, but was told there was nothing available. When I mentioned to the front desk manager that the rooms didn’t match the online photos, I was met with a dismissive attitude and told, “Well, this is what you signed up for.” The new room we received had a gloomy, basement-like feeling the only small window was positioned so high up that all we could see were air conditioning units. The shower head was broken and sprayed water everywhere, and even after reporting it, no one came to fix it. It also took 10–15 minutes to get any hot water. The overall condition of the room was very poor: the walls were dirty and scratched, the furniture was worn, and we even found long black hairs on the bedsheets. The fridge wasn’t turned on, and when we asked about it, we were told it was “only for storage.” Another misleading detail — there is no public rooftop terrace as shown in the photos. This hotel is located near the base of the Brooklyn bridge with many great coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful and the rooms very clean and well appointed. The set up for pour over morning coffee in the room elicited one of the downsides of travel--you did not have to give up great coffee when you stay here! We would definitely stay here again.

My family & I traveled to NYC for a few days & am so glad we stayed here. The location is amazing- walking distance to many attractions- and the neighborhood is very quaint & pretty quiet. The hotel itself was perfect. We had a decent view of the Brooklyn Bridge. The room itself was spotless. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The shower was one of my favorite things. It had a regular shower + a rain shower and the toiletries provided were top tier. We all loved it here and will absolutely stay next time we’re in town.

Good: staff were delightful and so helpful, kind. Nice area, close to the river. Not so good: not entirely sure we got the room we booked. Booked deluxe King Peck Slip, our room overlooked Front St. Windows were very very dirty, windowsills needing a wee sand and paint etc None of this stopped us enjoying our stay however

We booked this because of the area we wanted to try something different this time and it did not disappoint. The views were spectacular from our room with the wrap around terrace. The tin market was great to walk over and have a drink dinner or just coffee. The staff were fabulous with suggestion. It was a bit pricey which I hesitated at first but I do think it was worth it for the service room and especially the views at night

If you haven’t checked out The Seaport you are missing something. Great restaurants and walk to 9/11. The hotel is great. Worth the River/Bridge view. Lookin for a suite? Get room 705 1 or 2 bedroom. Or room 606 junior suite.

Hotel was great. All employees were terrific. The “courtyard” view was of a ventilation system right in front of my window. Otherwise, I loved the hotel. Didn’t open my curtains at all and it was fine. Room 212 shower does not drain and it was super slippery. Not safe for an older person. Restaurant very convenient and food was good. The location is wonderful with lots of restaurants and activities within walking distance.

our check-in was early due to the flight, but the hotel held our luggage until the room was ready. by 2:30 pm we got the text that it was and we headed back to get the key cards to room 605. the staff were excellent and very welcoming, including the bar staff while we had a great breakfast. the room was very comfortable with a furnished terrace looking at the brooklyn bridge and east river, bathroom was very clean with white marble and polished wood and a well appointed room with a desk and coffee maker.

I booked a room late at night (10:30pm) and meant to book it for the following night but accidentally did the current night. The hotel refused to adjust the dates to the next night stating it was non refundable. I explained I don’t want a refund just to stay for the current night. A true 5 star hotel is much more accommodating and does not keep someone’s money in a sketchy way. Had stayed here previously but will not be staying again. They stated they “held” the room for me and I would have had to call before midnight. I explained I had only 1.5 hours before midnight from when I booked it and that I went to bed immediately after. They were very rude and unhelpful

Really enjoyed the location of the hotel and how easy it was to access the concert venue we went for. The staff was friendly, but seemed overwhelmed at times an forgot about our requests for water on more than one occasion.

Isaiah is my dude! Maynard is a stud. Primary bellhop is one of the most personable guys ever. Staff makes this property shine. Location, obviously, cannot be beat.

The staff and the quality customer care were exceptional.. We had a small issue upon arriving and they fixed it immediately. A friend came to visit and they even opened up some parking for them. Thank you again guys you are the best we can't wait to come back to NYC and see you again soon. 😊

My experience with the 33 Hotel was phenomenal! From the moment I stepped into the lobby my traveling companion and i were treated like royalty! My front desk agent J.R was so polite, handsome, helpful, professional, and generous! We had a slight hiccup with our credit card and he was so helpful and understanding. He allowed us to go to the private lounge area until we got our funds sorted out. Such a sweet gesture that really made our night after 7 hours of travel. The room was nice and clean and the bathroom was very luxurious! Overall the room was kind of underwhelming for the amount of money we paid but the fact that it was very clean made up for it. If you stay at this hotel make sure you ask for J.R he is amazing, helpful, and very knowledgeable! He will make sure you receive royal treatment for the duration of your stay!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is located near Pier 17 which is convenient and it is situated in an area that is relatively safe. There are so many restaurants and places to explore. It is also only about a 15 minute drive from Grand Central with plenty of ubers or taxis around to go from the hotel to another destination. Highly recommend!

Nice quiet hotel convenient for Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Financial District and easy access to Subway for trips up town. Quiet area if you want to be a little away from the hustle and bustle of mid town. Room a little tired, bland for a 5* but coffee machine was great. Friendly and welcoming staff, fast efficient and helpful. Liked the Gym. Burger in the restaurant was delicious. I wouldn’t say this is a 5* hotel though 4* for sure. But enjoyed my stay.

Cool spot within the Seaport area. Hotel was great. Room was large with giant terrace overlooking the East River and the Brooklyn Bridge. Lots to walk around to. It is far south and east so just know Midtown is a half hour away. That being said I really liked this hotel.

My family & I traveled to NYC for a few days & am so glad we stayed here. The location is amazing- walking distance to many attractions- and the neighborhood is very quaint & pretty quiet. The hotel itself was perfect. We had a decent view of the Brooklyn Bridge. The room itself was spotless. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The shower was one of my favorite things. It had a regular shower + a rain shower and the toiletries provided were top tier. We all loved it here and will absolutely stay next time we’re in town.

Staff was delightful! Room appointments were nice - two sinks in the bathroom, lovely robes, nice mini bar, breakfast was excellent. Restaurant was closed for renovations but plenty of places around. Old part of city under restorations.

Rooms was poorly cleaned, windows dirty even saw a bug in the room when I was checking out I was staying in room 306. Staff at check in was excellent staff in breakfast area very bad got orders wrong several times made it feel like it was our fault never a I am sorry we got this wrong. etc. Had continental breakfast included really poor if you don't like sugar for breakfast. I suggest you change that to something better or just don't have it at all.

If you want that or anything else, you'll have to order separately.

Wish we'd planned a longer stay here. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the doorman. The location is perfect for shows at pier 17. The room was quite lovely with cozy bed and the best shower. But neither of the bedside lamp's plug/usb worked which could've been an issue if we had a flight to catch. Another caveat: the hotel restaurant closes too early if you're hoping to eat after a show. There are spots in the area but after standing 8 hrs for a concert, I'd hoped for room service. But that's my own fault for not checking ahead. Definitely, recommend!

great room with a nice terrace facing the square. bathroom is perfect, but needs glasses for drinking....room was nice size, bed very comfortable...coffee maker, no kettle and cups should be in the room...not paper cups (thats not luxury)...terrace was nice, but did find a couple of cigarette butts and bits of food on the astro turf. josh at the bar was excellent and very friendly and personable...an asset to the hotel. and chris went above and beyond to make sure our luggage was safe in our room food was very salty with some items (to me), but great breakfasts

The room was clean and beautifully designed. There was only one thing that stops it from being an excellent. The resort stay included 40 some dollars toward dinner or breakfast, but when I went to the hotel restaurant at 7 PM to have dinner, the chef was on a break for 20 minutes. That’s kind of weird and I’ve never seen that in a New York hotel.

Housekeeping didn’t replenish products very well. Had to ask several times for shower gel. Not a welcoming environment in lobby bar for morning coffee. Restaurant was closed off for private event one of the mornings so no where to sit and enjoy your coffee. Chris, the bellman, did a wonderful job at making us feel welcomed. He gave a thorough tour of room upon arrival.

If you want the Brooklyn bridge view make sure to ask specifically, as the names of other terrace rooms are misleading. Wonderful location and having terrace options is fantastic. They need better service at the onsite restaurant.

What a wonderful NYC experience! Felt like we were the only ones there , the way everyone treated us! Awesome service.. great food and the use of space made the room more useful than most hotels I’ve been to (and I’ve traveled extensively!) I will be happy to return!

There is no better choice in New York City for value, cleanliness, a welcoming staff, and quiet evenings. If you want to be in the ‘thick’ of things, this may not be the property for you. But if you are looking for modern, clean accommodations with beautiful views of the seaport at an exceptionally good price point, look no further.

I stayed here June 12-20, 2026 (rooms 514 & 607), and my experience was deeply mixed. Positives: The hotel has a warm, elegant atmosphere. The bed was excellent, housekeeping was perfect, and the Molton Brown toiletries and lobby water fountain were lovely touches. Special thanks to Tommy and the other front desk agent for their friendly service. Negatives: Maintenance issues were highly disappointing. Room 514 had a bulging bathroom door, loose handle, dirty curtains, a broken office chair, and a clicking bathroom light (possible short circuit). The mini-fridge didn’t work, ruining a $19 tiramisu on day one. The Chromecast was down for two days, and despite promises, no on-site engineer came to fix it. We also didn’t receive breakfast cards on arrival. The elevator was out of order for our first three days. The "Urban Cove" area needs attention: the menu was stained, and furniture requires cleaning. The continental breakfast lacked variety, with basic items like grapes or granola often missing. There is also no laundry service, only an external app. When I showed Tommy the room’s poor state, nothing was done. A free upgrade is nice, but providing a room that works as intended for the whole week is basic customer respect. At checkout, the front desk simply wished us a good trip without addressing these unresolved issues. I cannot recommend this hotel until maintenance improves.
