Comfortable, clean, and well located for doing what you do in New York city. But, very expensive and not really worth it for that price. My 3-day stay ended up being about $2,100. The resort fee of over $100 per night that was tacked on unexpectedly was a surprise and I am not sure what that was for! Our Wi-Fi did not work, and I was told someone would come up to see what the problem was, and no one ever came. There is no restaurant or bar on site except for Club members. Staff was just there, not overly friendly or helpful.

This hotel WILL be good but it’s just not ready to be open yet. There is no where to unload yet (driveway incomplete) so you have to unload your car on busy broadway. The phones and TVs, AC, and elevators have constant issues. There are no ice makers, no coffee makers, no coffee for purchase (literally no amenities). Not all rooms are available so we didn’t get the room we reserved and they were short on linens. They should have given it another month or two before opening. Thankful for Expedia for providing a credit.

Spacious room. Clean, and comfortable bed. Very hot and hard to regulate the heat. Maintenance came and opened our window to cool off the room. There is no restaurant on site. Grab and Go Cafe for coffee in the morning takes about 45 minutes in line. Two gentlemen doing their best. The lack of amenities is why the 3 stars.

The hotel did not have the room we booked and it took negotiating just to get a rollaway. The hotel has 46 floors and only 1 out of 4 elevators consistently worked and it had the emergency phone ringing in for hours. One other elevator sporadically worked and the remaining 2 were never operational during our 3 day stay.

Room was very clean. The room itself was well appointed and the bathroom/shower looked rather new. The bathroom sink had its drain plug stuck so water wouldn't drain from the sink and the hotel's restaurant is not open. That last part was disappointing. For being in the heart of Times Square, my room was surprisingly quiet for sleeping.

The only positive is the location. The rooms are outdated. Bathroom was disgusting. Peeling tub and the hot water did not come out. Didn’t shower for 3 days. The room was freezing and you could feel the cold air coming through the window. No safe in the room. I have family staying there for new years and I had to tell them to cancel. Just so gross and for the money spent I’m so disappointed.

Did not get a bath towel for the floor during my stay - had to use regular towel. Black mold in some of the areas in the shower. Room was spacious & clean. Bed was really comfortable. Noise level outside was high and woke us up couple of times

Hot water took 20 minutes to warm up and then there was very little water pressure. Made it very difficult to shower. We ran out of toilet paper and had to call downstairs. We were only left two bath towels in our room and when we asked for more they told us there was no more and their delivery didn’t come. We had 4 people in our room. Bathroom wall has moldy peeling wallpaper. Disappointed in this place.

The room was not clean. There were stains on my sheets and they left a used toilet paper roll on the ground in the bathroom. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. The ice machine and vending machine didn’t work. The hotel needs serious updating. Not worth the money at all.

The staff was very courteous & helpful. The lobby & common areas were clean & well-attended. Our rooms were, however, rather run-down & not very clean. There was also a smell of old food (takeout?) in room 2718 that was overpowering when walking in. Also, sink water would get very hot, but the shower was not even like-warm. The overall experience was less accommodating than I would expect or feel we paid for. It was disappointing. As stated, the bag service by the staff was helpful (to be able to leave bags before & after check-in & check-out).

Requested 2 Queens for myself, 14yo girl, and 16yo boy (which was disclosed and I paid for all 3 of us). When we arrived, we were told they didn't have those anymore and we were to stay in a King. I asked where all 3 of us were to sleep, I was told a roll away would be brought up. No roll away was brought, even after 2 additional phone calls. My son eventually just slept on the very hard couch for the entire trip. Probably out of teenage spite. It also took us 3 calls to get a blanket. We also had a problem with our AC. The vent was pushing out cold air, but the room never got below 72 and at one point was 76. The humidity % in the room was also 70-82% and we woke up several times with everything in our room wet. They sent a maintenance person, and he was very nice and quick to arrive, but he suggested we request a new room. We were just too spread out and would have had to repack to move. We kept telling ourselves it was getting better. So partially on us for not moving, but we contacted the service desk several times. The rooms and bathrooms were very nice and the cleaning crew did a great job keeping up with the high paced/ high turnover. The people at the front desk were constantly busy, but were very polite. The Times Square view from the 34th floor was nice, even if it wasn't the room we reserved.

The property was overall a good value for the price. The only things we had issues with were the climate controls not cooling below 70 and the elevators taking a while for the upper floors. Otherwise, a solid and great hotel I’d stay in again.

The headline here is location, step out of the lobby and you are essentially on Times Square, with Broadway at 48th–49th Streets right outside, which made it effortless to catch the energy of the city, walk to Rockefeller Center and Bryant Park, and jump on the subway at 49th Street. The room felt newly refreshed, quiet, and well laid out, with sweeping city views that our kids loved, exactly what you want for a Times Square stay where convenience and views matter most.

We stayed as a family on floor 40 and the experience was outstanding. The headline here is location, step out of the lobby and you are essentially on Times Square, with Broadway at 48th–49th Streets right outside, which made it effortless to catch the energy of the city, walk to Rockefeller Center and Bryant Park, and jump on the subway at 49th Street. Not a Hyatt Regency standard. Hotel renovated in August 2025, but don’t know if that’s an excuse… noisy rooms, when someone closes a door in the hall, you hear it much. All Room doors have 3cm space between floor and door, allowing noise and cold air to enter the room. No coffee machine in the room, no hotel slippers, small/low bath tub… I just did not feel at Hyatt, which normally feels as coming home. The only great thing about this hotel is its location.

Well my biggest complaint is that the wifi was terrible, unusable for work I would argue. Noise from the bustling city was pretty high, didn't bother me really as I was prepared fornit, being at such a central location. Hotel is really nice and clean, will be better once the restaurant and bar is open (as well as the proper entrance I guess). Complimentary coffee in the morning lobby was a pleasant start of the day as the coffee was surprisingly good 👍 Had a pleasant stay.

Pros: • Excellent location, close to main attractions • Clean and well-maintained rooms • Comfortable beds (though the pillows could be improved) Cons: • Quite expensive for the overall experience • Bottled water in the room costs $6 • No on-site café or restaurant • Staff were polite but not particularly attentive or welcoming. Right on Times Square and facing the action. We had wonderful room service and easy access to everything. Doorman helped my visually impaired daughter get her Uber. Held luggage after checkout so we could explore the city one more day. Highly recommend!

The management should make check-in better at peak time, we checked in at 1AM after waiting for an hour standing in line, there were 2 front desk persons , the 3rd person gave up and sat in the corner room , I know because I saw him sitting in there. The check in took almost 1 and half hours, we had to move our other plan s just because we were in line for check in for long time. On top of that the staff kept disappearing from the front desk leaving almost 20+ in check in line with no info of what was going on. Once we got to check in the desk person did not even apologize. The room it self was nice and the location was really convenient but rating staff and service was not as expected.

On arrival, checked us in early. Went sightseeing & back to room early. Did not have bedding for sofa bed. Went to desk & called twice. Staff at front desk were very slow. And when I asked a question about the elevator card, which was my lack of understanding, the male clerk was super huffy and annoyed. Even though it was the initial lack of explanation from them that caused the issue.

The headline here is location, step out of the lobby and you are essentially on Times Square, with Broadway at 48th–49th Streets right outside, which made it effortless to catch the energy of the city, walk to Rockefeller Center and Bryant Park, and jump on the subway at 49th Street. The room felt newly refreshed, quiet, and well laid out, with sweeping city views that our kids loved, exactly what you want for a Times Square stay where convenience and views matter most.

The location is right in the middle of time square, so it's loud and bright but that's what we wanted. I was disappointed that my reservation on Hotels.com came with breakfast but when I checked in they said their restaurant has not been cleared to open yet. So no breakfast, no bar, nothing but a room for us. That was a bit of a bummer.

Unbeknownst to me, the hotel just opened in July. The restaurant or bar was not ready nor was there a continental breakfast even though it was advertised that there was one. Outside of that, it is a beautiful hotel; quiet, very clean, wonderful staff….would more than likely stay again.

Room was very clean. The room itself was well appointed and the bathroom/shower looked rather new. The bathroom sink had its drain plug stuck so water wouldn't drain from the sink and the hotel's restaurant is not open. That last part was disappointing. For being in the heart of Times Square, my room was surprisingly quiet for sleeping.

Breakfast was total disappointment. We were expecting a proper buffet breakfast which you can have sitting at proper tables. It was like having a croissant or pastry along with coffee at a coffee shop. Location was very convenient if you are there for touristic purposes. Also transportation was very easy. Rooms were clean. NY já tem muitas sirenes, mas isso faz com que multiplique o barulho - estávamos no andar 35, então em teoria não deveria ouvir tanto, mas dava pra ouvir MUITO. Em reusmo, a noite é muito conturbada, com o barulho dos elevadores e das sirenes. Recomendo o hotel para quem não tem crianças, não tem sono leve e quer ficar bem localizado.

I was worried about the location being in Times Square. But it was totally manageable and actually quite nice because it was super easy to get to public transit, felt pretty safe around building and lots of food really close. Great place to step out of the hotel and instantly be into the energy of the city. There is a CVS about 15 feet away across the corner so that was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. I stayed here because they have Queen beds and most other hotels listed on my search on Hotels.com only had doubles. It's a tall building and the elevators are fast. The only real amenity is the fitness room which is large and when we tried to use it it was almost always pretty busy which was a bit frustrating to get a good workout in. The lobby is big with lots of comfortable chairs and couches so if you want to save money and bring to-go food back and don't want to eat in the room it's a perfect place. For things that were not totally great... At times it could take 7 - 10 minutes to have the elevator stop on your floor. It felt like an excessive amount of time based on how fast the elevators were. There were only 3 of all towels in the room even though the reservation was for for four people. (but when we called down they brought towels within 5 min so that was nice) No breakfast offered with room and the Cafe in the lobby is quite expensive. Better off going out and grabbing something. I would totally recommend this hotel and would stay there again!
