It was conveniently across the street from a parking garage (discounted): we walked to the Monet exhibit in 5 minutes. Another added bonus - breakfast was included! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Civility is back! It has a quaint, European feel to it. They took time to talk to me, help me out with a bag of ice for post op swelling of my knee. I will certainly go back again.

If you have to stay overnight in the financial district, this is one of the cheaper options, and it’s a good hotel. No issues finding the place or checking in, although the scaffolding around does obscure it a bit. They likely can’t do anything about the neighborhood; unhoused people sleeping on the streets, drunk people peeing and vomiting in the gutters, etc. That’s city life (at least until we develop the political will to guarantee housing as a right for all). The room was nice, as advertised, with a working fridge and thermostat. The air is loud, I actually wore earplugs to sleep! Both sink taps were set to hot, which was a bit odd for tooth brushing, but I let them know and they said they would get that fixed. The shower is good. Plenty of towels and bedding. You can’t really open the windows but with all the scaffolding that’s probably not safe at the moment. Speaking of, you can take the elevator to the roof and it’s an open construction site! Crazy. Breakfast is good, includes waffles, cereal, toast, pastries. Limited teas. Check out easy. Great location for buses and subways.

There is construction going on outside the property so you can't see the structure and need to enter under the scaffolding. There are lots of places to eat close by and the ability to get coffee and tea downstairs is great. I only give it the lower score because the elevator alarm was going off the last night I was there and then the elevator was broken when I needed to check out. I would definitely stay here again

We stayed at this hotel several times prior and always enjoy the quiet ambiance and charm. An TV issue was quickly resolved by staff with a smile. There was roof work next door going on & scaffolding outside the hotel that diminished our stay and outside view. Heated bathroom ceiling fan and in all rooms were awesome during January.

We loved being in a quieter area to visit Manhattan. The hotel has great transit options to get uptown. From the hotel we walked to Brooklyn, Chinatown, Stone St., NYSE, the World Trade Center / 9-11 site; and we even walked to Greenwhich village. For us, the location was great. I appreciated the fact that the curtains really were blackout, that the other guests were quiet, and that we slept well and felt rested each day for all the walking. The breakfast was simple but perfect for starting off the day. We would recommend this hotel for its location, policies, price, cleanliness, and convenience. We got a valet parking permit for CityPark only a few minutes walk away so our car was safely parked all weekend for a reasonable free.

Area was great. Tons to eat and sight see. Really hated the construction around the building. Terrible view outside window and also, there was a construction worker right outside our window on the third floor, which was very uncomfortable for us.

This hotel was the worst experience we could have . Most employees don’t know english at all and some have very heavy accent. Their elevator doesn’t work most of the times and they gave us the 6th floor room . my mom who is a disabled person had to climb all these stairs (every time took around one hour to go up or down) they said they can’t give us 2nd floor rooms which were not occupied since they don’t have any policy to help disabled people and they are not required to have elevator for disabled people even if it shows the hotel has elevator. I will take a law action asap since such hotel should not even exist. Terrible experience, terrible service, terrible customer support. Expedia is amazing helping us to fix the issue.

I love the Wall Street Inn and I’ve stayed here before. The rooms are comfortable and have a homey feel. The carpets could use a good cleaning and some probably need to be replaced but the inn is a good option for those looking for convenience in the Lower Manhattan area.

An old fashioned hotel, not modern or flashy, but really, really clean, comfortable bed, good shower, and incredibly quiet, due to thick walls. My window overlooked the street, and I didn't hear a thing outside. My only complaint was that the wi-fi was spotty, and the signal dropped now and then, but in the long run, the quiet and comfort more than made up for that. I will stay here again.

The Wall Street Inn was a great find. It makes you forget that you’re in NYC. It reminded me of a bed and breakfast. The room was spacious enough, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and towels.

I have stayed at this Inn twice and hope to do so again. It’s convenient for all points south Manhattan, it’s close to the subway and many excellent dining options, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the decor is so cozy/comfortable it would be easy to forget you’re in the middle of the city. I really enjoyed my two visits.

Was able to check in early the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The area was quiet and easy to get an uber. We enjoyed our one night stay. We were able to store our luggage there while we went sight seeing before our trip to the airport.

My partner and I had the best experience. The staff are amazing. They are knowledgeable, professional and courteous at all times. We had a few minor issues which were attended to within 10 minutes. The place was spotless. The continental breakfast was exactly what one would expect. I did grab a couple of the cinnamon buns for our flight home...they were wonderful. The Inn is accessible to everything. The room was perfectly laid out, had a safe and an umbrella for the rainy day we experienced. No complaints.vOnly compliments. Cheers!

Their elevator doesn’t work most of the times and they gave us the 6th floor room . my mom who is a disabled person had to climb all these stairs (every time took around one hour to go up or down) they said they can’t give us 2nd floor rooms which were not occupied since they don’t have any policy to help disabled people and they are not required to have elevator for disabled people even if it shows the hotel has elevator. I will take a law action asap since such hotel should not even exist. Terrible experience, terrible service, terrible customer support. Expedia is amazing helping us to fix the issue.

Great hotel with breakfast. Great location, within short walking distances to multiple subway lines/stations to explore New York City. Short walk to the South Ferry Terminal to catch the Statue of Liberty ferry. Super close to a great bagel shop (Leo's Bagels) and only a short walk to many other shops and restaurants. Will stay here again when next visiting New York City.

We loved being in a quieter area to visit Manhattan. The hotel has great transit options to get uptown. From the hotel we walked to Brooklyn, Chinatown, Stone St., NYSE, the World Trade Center / 9-11 site; and we even walked to Greenwhich village. For us, the location was great. I appreciated the fact that the curtains really were blackout, that the other guests were quiet, and that we slept well and felt rested each day for all the walking. The breakfast was simple but perfect for starting off the day. We would recommend this hotel for its location, policies, price, cleanliness, and convenience. We got a valet parking permit for CityPark only a few minutes walk away so our car was safely parked all weekend for a reasonable free.

Great hotel!! AC was not the best- but other than that- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Safe, great location, very unique, and a great deal. Would stay there again. Close to subway, Lady Liberty, and Wall Street. Times Square was about 15 minutes on the subway.

Wonderful location. Very European feel. Nice furniture. Very clean. Lovely breakfast. You can make your own waffles. They even have umbrellas in the room in case of rain. Delmonicos is a block away. South street seaport is a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend. Excellent value.

An ok two-night stay. Staff in all areas friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, good shower, special heating in bathroom. Fridge in room, but for tea/coffee must go to 1st floor; ice/vending in basement. Room carpet faded with age. Towels worn thin/washcloth with hole worn through. Waffle machine type breakfast not so delicious. Construction platforms and dirty windows outside detract from the already limited view from the room. Overall, ok for short stay.

The hotel is pretty enough, nothing fancy. It is clean, safe, quiet and only a few blocks from several metro stations. Our bed was supposed to be a queen and was not, only a full size -- the staff insisted that it was a queen (but I measured it.) The "breakfast" consists only of cereal, yoghurt, bread and prepackaged pastries, and a make your own waffle machine. No other protein, no fruit, and nothing else hot, so altogether it was disappointing to have paid for that.

This hotel harkens back to the days of personal, unique hotels where the decor isn't cookie cutter, the rooms are historic and the staff is friendly and efficient. I was on a LONG college-visit tour with my teenager and had had my fill of corporate chain hotels. This was like a little oasis in a lovely, quiet part of downtown Manhattan. Parking was right across the street (yes, you have to pay $40 a day). There were black out curtains and the sound proofing was amazing. Opening the window part way you could hear all the sounds of the city, but when closed, all was quiet. The only downside was their breakfasts are sugary pastries, waffles, etc without much else. But I would still stay here and get breakfast elsewhere if needed. My kid may end up going to college in the area and I will be happy to stay here again.

Overall, the hotel was a good choice for us. Located near NY harbor, very close to R, W, and 1 subway lines, and also on a quiet street. The hotel is comfortable and the property is well maintained. The rooms are relatively large and comfortable. This is actually my second time staying there. The first time was something like 17 years ago. The price was also reasonably by NYC standards. The only downside was the breakfast which was extremely poor even for a modest continental breakfast. I think 17 years ago it was much better. Despite that, I do recommend this hotel for a stay in NYC

Beautiful hotel, very clean room, great location. By having hotel with validated receipt (saved us $20 overnight), the valet parking garage across the street was quite convenient. However, upon check-in on Saturday 5p, there was an Octoberfest a half-block away and everyone was heavily drinking with lots of DJ music and drunken noise. We asked the front desk about it at check-in but they said it would be quiet by 11:30pm and dismissed our concern. Even with the windows closed on our corner room, the decibel level was too high and lasted till 2:40am! Other guests we spoke to in different parts of the hotel had the same complaint. Hotel should provide earplugs upon arrival, like we received in a Newport, RI hotel in 2022.

I can't say that I enjoyed my stay at the Wall Street Inn. Where to begin? My room had a musty, unpleasant odour, there was plaster falling from the bathroom ceiling and a hole beginning, the bed was uncomfortable, I had issues with the thermostat and the air con. There just isn't much positive I can say about this hotel. The staff was okay (which is the best part of any review I could give). I would not go back.
