Very responsive staff and good choices for breakfast. Doing some work in gym and pool so neither seemed available but nice days so walked outside. I’ve been coming to this place annually for 6 years and I was pleased with how they have made it nicer in the rooms and kitchen area.

The room was nice, clean, and quiet. The breakfast was just ok the eggs were a little crunchy and the coffee tasted like water but the waffles were delicious and the bacon as well. The pool was nice but small and very cold, and there were no more towels left when we went to leave. Also the smoke detector in our room was held together by painters tape, not sure if it worked or not.

Great location for visiting USAF Museum and other Dayton landmarks. Disappointed the gym closure for renovation and pool policy- no swimming alone. Several good restaurants nearby including Mr. Shawarma Mediterranean cuisine.

The room was clean except for the dirty rag that was left hanging in the shower. The shared parking lot between Clarion and the other hotel was not cleared of snow so you had to wade through ankle deep snow and thick ice and climb over the snow packed up in front of the door.

Pillows looked like they were slept on since day one. The room smelled like pee including the carpet. Cigarette butts in the window. The bathroom had old pee behind the toilet. Towels were disgusting could use new ones.

Room had a huge gap in the door. Could see out to the hall, so I know people could see in to the room. AC was not working and room was very warm. Also smelled like it had been smoked in. Wasn’t great, but wasn’t the worst. Bed was comfortable and we liked that the room had a microwave. Coffee maker was filthy.

I would not recommend, I had to use an entire Mr clean magic eraser to get all the scum off the tub. I told the employee and he said they were replacing the tubs. So what? Do they not clean them now? The pool is indoor but not heated!! Very cold. Pubes on shower wall, soap scum on sinks and counters. Just looks like they do, "just enough". Looks good with the lights off.

Room was not very clean. Nats flying around, toilet had hair and urine around base. Window trim is hanging down inside room allowing wind to blow in. Entire wall behind headboard and headboard itself had greasy handprints and splatter marks all over. Sheets had random stains also. Would not recommend staying here for the price.

Front desk person was nice but room is terrible. Was in town for a concert and didn’t have time to switch. Bed linens were stained and looked dirty. All wash cloths and towns stunk. There was black mold on ceiling and sink would not close to shave. Definitely not worth the money I paid but is closest to the Nutter Center, but plenty of others close too.

Location was perfect. Lots of dining options walkable from the hotel. Breakfast was not good at all. I had to ask for coffee refill at around 7:30, eggs were almost burnt and dry, no fruits or other bread options and only waffles available. The bed sheets are dirty with stains and lots of hair under the sheets. It looked like the bed was made from the last guest without washing it.

Woke up to cockroach’s in the bed and bathroom! Something smeared on the walls that may have been #2 Tub was dirty with someone’s long hair in it yet and the floor of the tub and shower head gross. I will be contacting the health department very unsanitary!

Staff had clearly not cleaned under the beds. We found empty plastic bottles and discarded food wrappers when checking to make sure we hadn’t left anything behind. The property itself was in disrepair (missing plaster, rusty doors/windows). The a/c in the room was ineffective, even after turning it way down to 60° the room did not cool off much and made sleep uncomfortable. The hotel was very conveniently located, and there were multiple dining/convenience options within walking distance.

The room and bed were comfortable. I liked the mural behind the bed. The AC unit is a bit loud, blows the curtains and is a bit too close to the bed. Bathrooms need to be updated. One bathroom light bulb was out and we had them replace it. There was no TP in the wall dispenser when we checked in and had to install myself. Nothing awful, but nothing special either. There was a lot of street noise. Breakfast was very mediocre. Eggs were cold and breakfast options were limited.

Property needs a refresh. Everything is very clean, but worn, a bit dated, and starting to show its age. Room a/c unit was not working properly, seemed to be completely ignoring the thermostat. The room was freezing with the thermostat set at 78, and sweltering with the heat on and the thermostat set at 68. Notified front desk when checking out.

Arrivedvl early and if we wanted to check in early would charge us $10 an hour. So arrived back at 11:30pm due to our schedule. When we entered room no air conditioning had been on. The day temps were close to 100 degrees. So the room was like a sauna. Ice only on floor. Property is old and shows wear in rooms

We checked into a room and the TV did not work so they offered to put us in a second room. Underneath both of the double beds in the second room had food and cups underneath it was disgusting then at check out they wanted to charge me $10 for a washcloth I had used to clean up a small coffee spill. So I took the guy at the front desk up to the room to show him underneath the two beds And made him call it even. I will never stay here again.

Worst service ever! Housekeeping is only every three days. Which is fine if they actually came every three days. I was there two full weeks and had to beg for housekeeping. Only received it twice even after several promises and having it scheduled with the head desk the day before. The one time I had service on the day scheduled, they arrived an hour earlier than planned and attempted to walk in without knocking or announcing themselves. I was fresh out of the shower ready to get dressed. Lucky my clothes were by the door and I could push it shut. Manager was never available to talk to. Asked for the manger to call me and wouldn’t even do that. Poor girl at the front desk got an ear full. On top of all that there was construction going on and the hall carpets were covered in Sheetrock dust. No compensation whatsoever. Will never stay here again.

The front desk clerk was awesome! NO where on my confirmation was the “booking” number needed to confirm our reservation. She worked tirelessly, as I did, to reach someone at Hotels.com to NO avail! We finally checked in at a discounted rate she gave us out of sympathy!

A woman was at the desk explaining that her remote control for the tv wasn't working. The clerk was going to make us wait while she took 3 different remotes to the woman's room to see if any would work. The woman was kind enough to tell the clerk to check us in first. The clerk never greeted us in any fashion. I could hardly hear her and she acted like we were an inconvenience. Wont stay there again.

We waited way longer than 5 minute\'s and eventually decided to call the hotel. Someone picked up and we explained we were waiting to check in and before my fiance could hang up the woman he was talking to on the phone came out from a back room behind the desk. My finace handed her his debit card to pay for the depost but the woman said she couldn\'t use a debit card and that it had to be a credit card to pay for the deposit, we were confused as to why that mattered. Thankfully, I had a credit card on me and went on to try to enjoy our stay. It wasn\'t exactly the best first impression, I wouldn\'t say we are unreasonable people, but I\'m sure there are others that wouldn\'t appreciate the lack of customer service right when they arrive. Overall, the stay was average. It was a decent price per night to stay. The room was clean and quiet but did lack some cosmetic detail such as unfinished painting on the bathroom walls.

Staff had clearly not cleaned under the beds. We found empty plastic bottles and discarded food wrappers when checking to make sure we hadn’t left anything behind. The property itself was in disrepair (missing plaster, rusty doors/windows). The a/c in the room was ineffective, even after turning it way down to 60° the room did not cool off much and made sleep uncomfortable. The hotel was very conveniently located, and there were multiple dining/convenience options within walking distance.

Older facility, however I found my room well maintained and the staff were friendly and courteous. Lots of great food in the area to select from and easy access to the freeway. Very quiet, breakfast options were good for grab and go or eat in. Will stay with them again for business. I did not try the pool but it looked clean and tempting.

Location was perfect. Lots of dining options walkable from the hotel. Breakfast was not good at all. I had to ask for coffee refill at around 7:30, eggs were almost burnt and dry, no fruits or other bread options and only waffles available. The bed sheets are dirty with stains and lots of hair under the sheets. It looked like the bed was made from the last guest without washing it.

The only reason I selected this property was for the “included breakfast”. Breakfast was a far reach. They had a waffle maker that didn’t cook all the way through and a few cereals and that was it.

The towels appeared pale, as if they hadn't been washed. The bathroom accessories were missing shampoo and conditioner. When I started taking a bath in the morning, I found that the tub drain was completely blocked, and I had to take a bath in a pool of water. The breakfast lacked bread entirely. When asked at the front desk about it, the staff member replied, "We don't serve bread; we have eggs, you can eat those." How can breakfast be complete without bread? The one-night charge was $103, which is not inexpensive by any standard, yet the service was disappointing.

The beds were very comfortable. The shower had warm water, but not hot. The room in general was in very good shape. The breakfast was disappointing due to quality: orange juice tasted awful, eggs cool, waffles had a weird taste. I should have had cereal as the milk was good and the yogurt.

What I liked - cold a/c, microwave and fridge in room, ice machine on lobby floor. What I didn't like - no water pressure in shower. Complimentary shampoo was a foil packet that was impossible to open in the shower. Bathroom remodel left an open spot on drywall next to tub. Room was okay. Carpet was wet and smelly around a/c. Continental breakfast must have been left on another continent because there was nothing to it. No forks. Eggs were horrible. Bacon might as well not have been cooked. Bed was nice and check was nice. Other than that, not much to brag on. Loved the area though.

The continental breakfast was terrible! The staff was excellent, but the food should’ve been thrown away before it was even put out. The eggs were hard and rubbery the sausage look like they were made in a nuclear reactor. They looked deformed. I don’t drink coffee, but my wife said the coffee grounds were from mud.

The lobby was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the hotel itself had several major issues. The first room we were assigned was over 85°F, and the air conditioning was barely working. The front desk quickly moved us to a second-floor room, which was at a comfortable temperature, although it had a strange odor. We were just happy to have functioning air conditioning. Unfortunately, things got much worse. Around 3:00 AM, while my partner was using the bathroom, she noticed something crawling near my pillow and woke me up. It was a bedbug. I honestly couldn’t believe it. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms (including many far less expensive or less well-maintained than this one) and I’ve never encountered a bedbug. To the staff’s credit, they were again apologetic and promptly moved us to a third room. We were assured that the hotel manager would contact us the following morning to make things right. It’s now almost end of day and we have yet to receive any communication from management. I genuinely appreciate how courteous and responsive the front desk staff was, but friendly service can’t make up for issues like broken air conditioning, multiple room changes, and finding a bedbug. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and follows through with guests when situations like this occur.
