Stay was good but the reason we booked here compared to a competitor was that it advertised EV charging station. What they didn’t mention was it was only for Tesla’s plug. Otherwise I would have booked the place that had free breakfast. Also was surprised that room did not have a microwave. I thought all hotels had one in the room. Other than that is was fair price and fit our needs.

The room was sufficient. It did not have a refrigerator and there was no continental breakfast. The pool and hot tub were nice, but the chemicals were so strong that our eyes were burning and kids around us were coughing. It was very bad. The staff was friendly. The location was convenient.

Rooms were basic, but clean. Beds were ok, shower pressure was mostly ok. The choline in the pool was super strong. The first night, just being in the room made my eyes burn and water. The next day I noticed they opened the windows and that was better. But once they were closed again, it was pretty strong again. The staff was aware and he was kind and reasurring it would be corrected.

Elevator was out of order, hot tub was out of order, pool was very strong with chemicals, bedding was very thin, and you could smell cigarettes in the hallways even though it’s a non-smoking hotel. It’s not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but certainly not the best. Still waiting for a deposit return…

Having read other reviews I did not expect much. We had taken our own bedding with us and luckily. The beds were covered in hair. And I mean covered. What looked to be dog hair and human. The bathroom also had what looked like dog hair on yhe vanity and floor. The toilet has feces from whomever had stayed in the room beforehand, so it had definitely not been cleaned. We had visited cedar point and we're exausted otherwise we would have probably just left and drove home. So we just put our own bedding on and rested 7 hours before packing up the car and leaving. The owners and operators should be ashamed of this place. We will never visit again.

It was genuinely gross, there was dirt, bugs, and even m&ms all over the floor. The toilet seat was peeling so you couldn’t sit down without getting porcelain on your ass. The woman at the front desk was horribly rude.

We have pictures of bedbugs and stained blankets and mattresses. There was blood on the floor which we have pictures of also. Still thinking about reporting this place. It is absolutely aweful should be shut down. We left as soon as we arrived at 11 am with small children and had to sit in the parking lot and find a different hotel. We are still horrified and mad. Make seek an attorney on this.

Our room was so dirty. Bedspreads we’re full of stains. The floor has dust bunnies everywhere and the shower had not been cleaned. There was actual dirt and hair. Won’t stay there again.

It was one of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. We chose it because it was close to Cedar Point but next time I would stay farther just to avoid staying at such a dirty place. There were wrappers on the floor in one room, the floor had not been swept in either of the two we booked. The beds were made but one had a blood spot and the other room had crumbs on both beds. The staff was friendly but definitely doesn’t make up for being so dirty. It was unsettling.

We stayed here after a day at Cedar Point, it is very close without the hefty price tag. Very basic accomodations but clean, seemed safe and served its purpose. We opted for the rooms with microwave and fridge, room had 2 beds, 2 tables, and 4 chairs. It doesn't leave room for an air mattress or roll away (not an option at this location) BUT a standard room, none the less. I felt check in was easy and the front desk agent was very friendly and polite, even when we arrived at 1am :) Definitely will stay again and recommend to others.

Not a bad room ,but not a good one either. I've stayed in worse places. The bed was a tiny notch above a jail bunk as far as comfort.like perhaps not even as good. I can further describe it as " lumpy,bumpy,and hard." . This is the reason I will not return Fix the bed problem andi might change my mind.

This was a super close hotel to cedar point. Rooms are a little dated, but clean. Staff was super nice. Room did not have a mini fridge, I just assumed it would have. Overall would come back.

Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We had the Queen deluxe room and it was nice to have the extra table and chairs and the divider between the rooms with the sink and good sized refrigerator ! Room was clean and beds were comfy.

Noone at the front desk for about 15 mins. Couldn't find anyone to help. Called several times too. Finally a ln employee came out of the elevator. Not very clean bathrooms, very loud at night could hear every movement around, train passing through the night. Car alarms went off for about an hour. Room was just mediocre at best!

April and Sandy at the front desk are AMAZING!! We had an issue with our tv not working and they both jumped on it and came up with a solution and resolved the issue right away. They were both very dedicated to making sure our stay was perfect!

Called them a day before the set date just to make sure everything was okay and nothing was wrong or gonna happen, we got the okay. Went there to check in only to find out they canceled the rooms and gave them away so we couldn’t go even get a room. No call, no text, no email about them canceling it! Then they proceeded to call the cops because we were in the waiting room calling around to see if there were any other places that can take us. It was a long day, we originally got the rooms because we were going to cedar point and wanted to watch the fireworks and go to bed at the hotel. It was just a really bad experience and one of the employees was being really rude about it. Definitely not coming back again!

Then because we had tk have a room to stay one night, they charged us 40$ more per room for the room ls we already had reserved. 4 times we had to have them program the key card to get in the room. When we checked in there were 2 employees arguing at the end od the hallway about the employee texting the manager. It was awkward and a bit uncomfortable. Hotel was dirty. Splatters of something on many walls. Room was not serviced while we were there and we were there 3 days. One day they did come and remove the trash. I had to go to the front desk every day to ask for items like towels, shampoo, or coffee. The last night a woman argued with me that the room was serviced. I took pictures to go show and ahe came to clean the room. The hottub/spa smelled so bad we got out immediately after it turned on. There was a pool towel that sat in the corner of the elevator for almost 24 hours. There was a young lady at the front desk who was the highlight of the trip. She was kind, apologetic, got us what we needed. She took down the room number for us because she was really trying to get us service. She did well. The young man there also tried ro assist us one evening. We used to stay here years ago as a family and thats why we came. Dont waste the money. Plenty of other options close by.

I had to go to the front desk every day to ask for items like towels, shampoo, or coffee. The last night a woman argued with me that the room was serviced. I took pictures to go show and ahe came to clean the room. The hottub/spa smelled so bad we got out immediately after it turned on. There was a pool towel that sat in the corner of the elevator for almost 24 hours. There was a young lady at the front desk who was the highlight of the trip. She was kind, apologetic, got us what we needed. She took down the room number for us because she was really trying to get us service. She did well. The young man there also tried ro assist us one evening. We used to stay here years ago as a family and thats why we came. Dont waste the money. Plenty of other options close by.

We stayed here after a day at Cedar Point, it is very close without the hefty price tag. Very basic accomodations but clean, seemed safe and served its purpose. We opted for the rooms with microwave and fridge, room had 2 beds, 2 tables, and 4 chairs. It doesn't leave room for an air mattress or roll away (not an option at this location) BUT a standard room, none the less. I felt check in was easy and the front desk agent was very friendly and polite, even when we arrived at 1am :) Definitely will stay again and recommend to others.

Nice woman at front desk when I arrived late. There’s are trains nearby that blast their horns over and over and over again. If there was a cemetery nearby it would wake up the dead. Yes, the train horns are that loud. Not a quiet place.

Yep there are trains running all the time like other reviewers stated. I left a 5 star review because of the price. I got 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each room for less than $200 bucks. Most places had only double beds. The beds were very comfortable. I never saw the pool or hot tub so can’t comment on them. It’s 16 min to cedar point so very convenient for our trip. Staff was very nice. Also a 12 o’clock check out was Awesome since we didn’t leave cedar point until 12 am. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was located next to a Wendy’s and Arby’s. However it was really noisy as the train passed every 40 mins and many trucks were parked there that made a lot of noise when starting up. Not a place where you can get sound sleep.

Great experience. Close to everything without being stuck in the busy traffic of cedar point. Close to shopping and great food. Front desk was extremely nice and helpful. Pool was clean!

I liked the easy check in and out. The pool was relaxing. Loved the coffee. The staff was nice and since our room did not have a microwave as I expected they allowed me to warm up my breakfast sandwiches in the employee break room

Rooms were clean, & the beds were comfy as well. The pool & hot tub were also nice. Super friendly staff as well. Arbys & Wendys are within walking distance from the hotel, bonus! Conveniently right off the expressway (interstate), which made getting on and off the expressway easy & simple! Great place to stay when going to Cedar point. Literally 15 min down the road. Will stay there again!

The staff were quite courteous, responsive and friendly. We were offered fresh towels and to remove our garbage on a daily basis. Decor of room and Lobby was very sparse and plain. That being said it suited our needs for a place to sleep while visiting our family.

Stay was good but the reason we booked here compared to a competitor was that it advertised EV charging station. What they didn’t mention was it was only for Tesla’s plug. Otherwise I would have booked the place that had free breakfast. Also was surprised that room did not have a microwave. I thought all hotels had one in the room. Other than that is was fair price and fit our needs.

The room was sufficient. It did not have a refrigerator and there was no continental breakfast. The pool and hot tub were nice, but the chemicals were so strong that our eyes were burning and kids around us were coughing. It was very bad. The staff was friendly. The location was convenient.

Decided to try this Motel 6 because a competitor's pricing was 2/3 more in cost. We had an event at the Huron Boat Basin to attend, and it was a few minutes away. Beds were comfortable, and it was clean. They did not have a free breakfast, but this is an economical hotel. Free coffee was available in our room, but we didn't partake.There is an Arby's very close and a Wendy's across the highway. It looked like many people were enjoying the indoor pool. The only two downsides might be location, as a busy train track does run close to this hotel. I was not bothered by the train noise, but it could be a problem for some. The other problem might be parking. We towed a boat and would have had to park across the highway behind Wendy's and wouldn't have been comfortable doing so. Otherwise, a good stay!

The room was clean. The hot tub was amazing after a long day at cedar point! The staff was nice and they let us check in 2 hours early! Cedar Point and public beach access were only just a short drive. I would definitely stay here again!

If you are pulling a trailer or have a RV, you need to park across the street behind the Wendy's. Entry level rooms don't have a refrigerator or microwave. No coffee maker either, but coffee is available in the lobby starting at 6am. Located about 15 minutes from Cedar Point. M.
