Room not as advertised. Toilet ran all night the first night and had to stick my arm in the tank several times to get it to work. Talked to the staff and they said it’s a known problem since their remodel. They did have maintenance fix it, but even after it was fixed it didn’t flush properly. I’ve stayed at this property many, many times in the past 10 years and prior to that I held business meetings once a month for over a year at that location. I’ve always loved and recommended this Hampton Inn. The past few times have been really disappointing. Horribly uncomfortable mattresses, running toilets and a now a clinical unwelcoming remodel/decor. The lobby looks and feels like a hospital. The staff are always nice and personable but upon our arrival seemed more interested in talking to each-other than paying attention to the front desk or answering the phone from our room. I had to go back down to the desk and after we got into our room and it took several minutes and finally me looking back into the office area and waving to get their attention to tell them about the toilet issue. No immediate steps were taken. I was told they’d have maintenance repair it in the morning. So we had a horrible nights sleep listening to the toilet run all night on top of the sofa bed, if you can even call it that, had a mattress so thin you could feel every metal support as you lay on it. My 23 year old son opted to sleep on the floor on the sofa cushions it was so bad.
