Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Lawton-Fort Sill by IHG

Checked in with dirty sheet and comforter on our bed! Bugs all over the pool we had to clean it ourself! Daiky roomservice only took trash never made beds or stocked towels or even swept over the floors! Everyday had to reset key cards multiple times a day! I checked out and paid for an airbnb due to the awful experience! Never again! Positive: breakfast wasnt awful and hotel had laundry service!

The staff was friendly, and breakfast was good. The hot tub was more like a warm bath than a hot tub. The ac was off in the room we checked into so it was really hot when we got in the room. Not enough pillows for a king bed. And the fire alram started randomly going off at 4am.

They lost our reservation. And they didn’t really give a crap. 2 o’clock in the morning smoke alarms went off, never had towels down by the pool. One morning the breakfast didn’t open till 830. Our reservations were for $122 a night since they couldn’t find it at all their records. They told us that they don’t deal with third-party companies which find that absolutely hard to believe but it cost us $210 a night. And after driving 10 hours, who wants to go find another hotel and pretty much all of them were booked anyway.

Luggage carts are falling apart. The only elevator will drop dust on you every time the door closes. The breakfast food was awful but the workers will make a plate and eat before the customers do, so I guess it wasn’t that bad. Just kidding, the food was horrible. The pancake machine was broken, the cereal was stale, eggs were overcooked as well as the sausage. The TV in the room would not turn off, so you have to unplug it to sleep at night. The box under the mattress was broken so you had to very carefully get in and out of the bed. The toilet would drain and fill constantly, even through out the night. There was hair in the shower, entire bathroom, and in the sheets in both beds. Staff spoke to us as if we were a burden. Family and I typically always find a Holiday Inn Express for all our travels, but this one was by far our worst experience.

The bad (where do I begin): - we stayed for four nights with our grandson, two of the nights the smoke alarm went off in the wee hours of the morning, the last night there it went off twice in a one hour period. I went to the front desk to check and found out it wasn\'t just our room it was the whole hotel. The attendant at the front desk said, "All I can do is keep turning it off when the alarm blares." - although the hotel is marked as "no smoking" throughout, the small enclosed pool patio was where everyone came to smoke (including the hotel staff) and drink. Cigarette butts littered the area. Just low rent and not very family friendly. No towels for the pool. - after being awaken twice by the fire alarm, I went downstairs to get the continental breakfast. At the appointed hour that it was supposed to be available, the lights were still out and the access to the food was still shuttered. I went to the front desk again to make sure that I wasn\'t wrong about the start time and was told by clerk that the person responsible for opening wasn\'t there yet. The front desk clerk eventually opened the food area so we could have access to dry cereal and yesterday\'s bagels but no hot food was out for the thirty minutes I was down there.

Breakfast was delicious staff are friendly and everything was very nice. They also have a laundry site.

Convenient but tired property

Our experience was excellent. The hotel was very clean. We all commented on how comfortable our beds and pillows were. There was plenty of towels and toiletries available if needed. The staff was amazing. Very friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. Breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel over and over. The only recommendation I could make would be update the TVs so that people can stream their phones. We really wanted to watch football and tell him that next impossible. Also not a ding on the hotel, but originally the website stated in the description that it had an indoor pool and hot tub. Unfortunately both were outside. However we did use the hot tub.

We were iffy at first when we reserved our room as we found different reviews, but the room/hotel was amazing. It was clean, very large, and the bed was SUPER comfortable! There were only a few things my husband and I did not like. One was the water pressure in the (oh so roomy!!) shower could have been better. The elevator was slow (oh well) and they were out of caffeinated coffee (which was much needed after our 12 hour drive!). Otherwise, it was a really good stay, we would definitely recommend as we were there for our son’s basic graduation from Fort Sill. I will put this on their page as a great place to stay.

I was first given a room in Room 443. I noticed the top of the linen closest to the AC was dirty. My wife noticed that something smelled around the bed. I also smelled an odor so I called the front desk to check it out. The clerk at the front desk offered us another room. So we moved into Room 460. We saw hairs in the shower and the floor of the bathroom. Entrying the room was hard as you have push down the handle very hard in order for it to work. Also, the clerk was nice enough to switch the room but I have say he was very unkempt in his appearance. Particularly, the shirt he was wearing was worn with holes at the bottom of his shirt. Just not a good look for the face of the hotel. I feel the hotel is in need of a renovation. I have seen other IHG properties in traveling years ago that have better quality than this hotel.

Front desk staff was nice however once you enter the lobby there is a strong smell of cigarette in the lobby and elevator. The room was extremely dirty. It had a lot of mildew in the shower and old apples and other food items under the sofa. It looks like they just change the bedding and towels and don’t clean the rest. We receive a double standard from the breakfast staff. On Saturday we woke up and were there at 9 and they had turn off pancake machine. When we asked, she just said she couldn’t turn back on. At 9:45, 15 mins prior to the end she closes the breakfast. It was us and our family. On Monday, we went there 30 mins prior to the end, and she had the pancake machine on for the other guests and was very nice to them, but not us. I guess she doesn’t like hispanics.

Clean, friendly staff and good breakfast

Room was clean and staff was professional and helpful.

I booked two rooms one king and one double. I received two doubles. I went in and the room was not properly cleaned. Pubic hair on the bathroom floor, hair on the floor and in the corner, mold and a orange color in the shower. Bathroom floor had dirty foot prints. The pool was dirty and disgusting. The walls are thin and we could hear the entire conversations of the family next to our room. The breakfast was not good at all. Even my kids couldnt eat it. The oranges, oatmeal and OJ was good. The staff was excellent.

It was very clean and the staff was very courteous.

There was a large defect in the ceiling with hanging drywall and the constant mold smell indicated it was an old water leak. There were old human hair and dust balls in the corners of the bathroom.

Trash in room was not emptied from previous occupants. Crickets in the room. Dead bugs in the hall way. Water pressure is terrible. Pillows are flat and bed felt to be slanting downhill.

It was absolutely horrible. Fire alarm kept going off in our room randomly. We be sound asleep and it go off. We traveled all way from south dakota hoping to go to sleep and kept having alarms go off. Room was very dirty as well.

While we appreciated the early check in - the following items were noted as potential issues to someone with less of a sense of humor. The toilet handle was broken off at the flush assembly inside the tank (this was promptly repaired after it was shared with the staff). Then we had the interior main door handle pull off in my hands (I reinstalled and was able to get the set screw to recess back in far enough to make it thru the 5 day stay). The Shower door would not stay closed (needed to place a piece of cardboard between the glass doors to keep them closed. The tile floor at the shower base had a large piece missing. The rear wall of the shower enclosure had a crack evident that ran behind the ADA assist Hand bar. The Fire alarm kept going off on the first day and evening of our stay (4 events in a 6 - 8 hour period).

The room waa massive and very clean. I loved the furniture too. I had good nights sleep

The mattresses in the rooms showed signs of significant wear that impacted comfort. I mentioned this to the evening staff, who assured me that the issue would be addressed by having the first shift replace the mattresses the following morning. Unfortunately, this did not occur. I believe it would be beneficial for management to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the mattresses throughout the hotel, as replacing them with new ones could greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

The beds were confortable and rooms were spacious. Food options for breakfast were also good. Hotel needs a few renovations in the main entrance and the bathrooms.

After showering, the door and walls were completely wet and made the whole hotel room miserably humid. Staff were fine. Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for family members Army bootcamp graduation. Hotel was close and convenient to base. I would stay again for the price and convenience.

Booked a 2 room suite for 5 people with multiple queen beds and a sofa bed. Was given a room with just a king bed and was given attitude when we requested room to fit us all as per our booking.

The check in girls (I didn’t get the dark haired girls name) went above and beyond to make sure our girls trip was the best it could be. She needs a raise! She was amazing!

We arrived a little early and were told our room wouldn't be ready u til almost check in time. So we went to waste a little time and returned at 5 minutes until official check in time. I was told there were still no rooms clean. I explained she knew we were coming back and my daughter had to get ready because we were in town for a gymnastics meet. She insisted she couldn't do anything. I asked if the manager was there and she said she was the manager. Never apologized or offered to compensate us at all, even when I pointed out that they could charge me if I didn't check out by check out time, so it wasn't right for my room to not be ready at check in time. Then we finally got our room and it was like 75 degrees. We had to hurry so we didn't notice until late that night that the phone cord was broken so you could only use the phone if you inserted and held it in. I needed to call the front desk because we were not left pillows or linens for the pull out couch. When I finally reached someone I was told I could come down to the front desk to get them. Then, when my daughter got in the shower, there was no shampoo, just 2 body wash and one conditioner. The water pressure in the sink was super low.

Superb service!

All staff members were polite and friendly. All areas were clean. Breakfast was good, had quite a selection of food just wish they had eggs without cheese.

The gentleman serving breakfast and the gentleman at the counter were deceptively polite and helpful! it was a great stay.

Hospitality was absolutely great especially the staff that takes care of the breakfast. The room was not clean and the towels and washcloths were not clean and had a damp smell to them. The lady at the front desk the night we arrived was rude and didn’t have an answer for any questions we asked.

The lady working 3-11 shift was awesome!! Very helpful, informative and welcoming.

Was not impressed - rooms not stocked with body wash - hotel was out! Then breakfast items were out - no milk- ran out of some Of the food items. The cook lady was rude and yelled at my daughter. Lots of Noise in the rooms!! Was really hard To sleep well. There was also a terrible smell around the outside and down some of the halls inside! Would Not stay there again

NICE ROOM, EVERYTHING WE NEED BUT THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT READY IN TIME. NO HOT FOOD AT 7 AM ON SATURDAY MORNING, SO I TRY GET CEREAL AND MILK, BUT THE MILK WAS SOURED. TRY TO GET SOME ORANGE JUICE, BUT IT WAS JUST COLOR WATER. INSTEAD OF TRYNG SUNDAY MORNING WE JUST LEFT EARLY TO GET BREAKFAST SOME PLACE
