Residence Inn by Marriott Oklahoma City Downtown/Bricktown

Very noisy from vehicles adjacent to the building, limited parking even with a parking fee. I would get a room on the opposite side of the hotel if I stay there again. But the parking is a problem.

The room was great. The property needs some general upkeep, but it was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Walking distance to many of the restaurants and bars in the Bricktown area. The paid parking was my main issue, if I'm staying there, then I don't feel I should have to pay extra to park.

The place was beautiful and clean. The staff was courteous and beyond helpful. The only downside was that the pool was down for half our stay then when it opened it was murky and a bit gross.

5th annual stay at this location. This was the last time. Other people trash and undergarments left in drawers, bugs in kitchen every day, demanded spraying for bugs and little was ever accomplished. At check in was given card keys to occupied room. Laundry facilities on site, no dryers were working at all, left with wet clothes. Simply a poor experience overall, each day something else was wrong, broken, or unattended too. And incredible amount of street (car noise) from the nightly "cruzers" each night.

Only elevator works. Parking is very limited not worth the price

The ladies in the breakfast area went over and above what was required to make sure you enjoyed your breakfast. Our only complaint is that they charged $21. Per day to park on-site.

Had to always ask for pool towels. Parking should not be charged if you are staying there

The room itself was nice. The kids loved that there was a basketball court on the property as well. I rated it 4/5 due to the fact that the pool was very small and there was no hot tub. For the price and look of the property, I expected a much larger pool (and a hot tub would’ve been great.) Overall, it is a nice area, and within walking distance to everything in Bricktown. There is a per night parking charge ($25 with tax per night), but parking in that area is a hot commodity, and they had parking lot security who does check for the parking pass. Overall would stay here again.

Paying for parking and having to park in another business parking. Especially when the door on that side was broke

Clean rooms and friendly staff.

First the positives: Excellent location, front desk very helpful. Now the so sos…..Breakfast was mediocre at best. Now for the really sucks: We noticed a smell in our room, tracked it down to the kitchen, and finally the dishwasher. Where to surprise..it was full if dirty, smelly, moldy dishes, like they had been there a while. Housekeeping in this place is awful. Now front desk offered to let us change rooms but at this time it was 9pm and we didn’t want to pack-up. So they came and removed the dirty dishes and sprayed some lysol. But still… dirty dishes? weeks old? Oh, and the phone didn’t work. :

Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable.

Room wasn’t that clean. Dishes still in the dishwasher from prior occupants. Refrigerator dirty inside and a thick film on top. Definitely needs attention for cleanliness but otherwise great.

The rooms were ok….they could use a little more detailed to cleaning thoroughly and fixing broken pieces. House keeping was horrible I asked for room cleaning during the middle of my stay due to having a sick child who was vomiting off and on I cleaned what I could but asked for housekeeping to come change sheets replace towels and sanitize. Housekeeping only replaced sheets did not remove old sheets or towels that was covered in vomit. Also saw several roaches on property asked about spraying no one ever came. Ended up going to store purchasing cleaning supplies and raid that i couldn’t take back with me. Best thing about hotel was location as it was walking distance to Bricktown area and river walk.

Overall room looked tired with worn out furniture. Dried puke in the bath tub prevented us from showering in the morning. The manager addressed our concerns by saying “sorry” and “giving us a housekeeping credit towards our next visit”. What?!!!

Kinda dirty

One bed had a huge pee stain. Had to cover it up with several blankets. Another bed was so sunken in , it sagged in the middle. The tv’s didn’t work the first night.

My rate is based on the smell of the room. It was not pleasant. The odor was through out the 6th floor. The personnel was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was good as well. Parking security was good also.

The hotel, room, and staff were all great. It was extremely noisy outside due to hot rods and racing in the middle of the night. That’s not the hotel’s fault, but just keep that in mind. I think if you had a room on the river side of the hotel it would be more quiet.

A hotel should not get a free pass just because of its brand recognition or location, each hotel has to provide excellent service to earn that reputation. At this hotel, the staff was not friendly to the right level, they were not welcoming or giving a vibe of wanting to make customers feel comfortable and welcome, They were basically indifferent. And the hotel room was a bit shabby overall, a cabinet door was off its hinges, plumbing was poor, etc. Mattress was not super comfortable either.

Room was ok, but be aware the car noise from the street is very loud until about 2am.

I like the room we had...528...though it did have its flaws....it was spacious clean and over looked pool and canal. Breakfast was good n hot. Lots of options.. first time staying here and would love to stay again when i can spare another 250/ night

Great location, excellent staff, room not so much. Most of the furniture was very worn, The dining room chairs were literally coming off on our clothes so we could not use the dining area to eat, most of the silverware for a room that sleeps 8 was gone, food and trash left in the room from the previous occupants, when we asked about the furniture the desk staff said "ya we know" but for 300 a night i expected a bit more quality. The rest of the facilities are excellent. Breakfast was good except they used a VERY spicy andoui sasuage for families on a sunday morning kids, and parents were complaining quite a bit. Parking is also a huge issue if there is a basketball game or concert, the parking area will be full and you will be parking in "overflow" in bass pro or next door in the sonic corprate office parking lots, yep you get to pay them to park on someone else's property.

The property is in a great location; can walk to anything in the Bricktown area. The staff was friendly. Our room was spacious and clean.

The room was clean. The hotel and area outside was very busy. Desk staff was very nice. Only one elevator was working. Hallways smelled of cigars and pot. The bedding provided for the pullout sofa was sparse and very worn. Other beds were lumpy and seemed very worn out. Outside loud cars were cruising and people were partying loudly until well after midnight. Not a restful night at all. For the cost of the stay this is not what I expected.

We had a king studio. It was amazing. The room was incredibly comfortable. Stayed here for 2 nights for a birthday weekend and the location afforded us so many options for entertainment. Plus it's nice being able to park right outside the hotel. Would definitely recommend Residence Inn by Mariott in Bricktown Oklahoma City.

I normally like staying at a Residence Inn but this time I was disappointed. First, the computer went down when we got there and we were unable to check in for 2 hours. Then we had reserved a king suite and were given one with two full size beds. When I went to get it switched they were unable to give us that type of room because they weren’t clean and the housekeeping staff had left for the day. This is a nice area in OKC. But the hotel was definitely worn. Paint cracking and peaking in the bathroom and very worn out furniture in the suit. I thought they might comp the room with the difficulty we had but all they did was give us free parking. On a lighter note Nate, the front desk clerk, kept his cool. Even when those of us waiting were getting impatient he stayed calm. There are way too many decent hotels in this area to stay at this place again.

The AC in the Bedroom was horribly noisy. Luckily I only stayed a night. Besides, pretty avg. Hotel. Hotel breakfast okay.

The check in staff was less than pleasant, stating to me prior to even reviewing what my reservation was she was checking me in for two queens, when I booked a king room. She indicated they were over sold on king beds but when I indicated that I would then call Expedia and cancel this reservation and find a hotel which did have a king she magically found a king room. As a Marriott member her tone and treatment was not what guests expect. This day and age you have the opportunity to book and pay for the sort of room you want and the computers should be able to determine availability for the sale of said rooms.

Front desk could not handle the load of customers. They overbooked and we almost didnt have a room. They asked if we wanted to share a room?! Out of towels and coffee. Paid parking but no spot open around the hotel. Not the vibe and level we expect from a Marriott!

Had a horrible stay! I travel with my family for AAU basketball and use Marriott all the time. Now won’t do it again! I went to check in at 3:00 and I was followed and racially profiled by their security guard. Once I completed my check in I went to a parking spot to stop and give my daughter a key as well. And he followed me once again asking if I was staying there! Like he didn’t just see me checked in. Then at night the same security guard was harassing my daughter asking her what room was she in! To the point she had to call me and she felt unsafe! Never knew this company was so restrictive! Wonder if that would have been my experience if I was another race!

Great hotel very close to the best of what the city has to offer.

Property was clean but clearly understaffed. The area around the hotel has deteriorated over the last few years. Unfortunately that’s not the hotel’s fault. I will say that they do a great job of securing the parking lot.

The property was convenient to access as it is close to the interstate. The room and the hotel itself were clean. Our room had an extremely loud air conditioning unit that made it difficult to sleep. It constantly thumped and whined while running. I didn't even bother asking for a room change as 5 of us had already unpacked and the demeanor of the front desk staff made me not want to even try and get a new room. The front desk staff was not very friendly. The gentleman running the breakfast on Saturday 6/14 was great. The breakfast itself was standard hotel food. The pool seemed clean and the kids enjoyed it. The area around the hotel is extremely unsafe and you need to constantly be aware of your surroundings. A security guard won't let you into the front doors until you show a keycard after hours. They also have to cone off parking spaces and require you to show your parking pass after hours when you enter the lot to get a parking space. There are lots of unsavory individuals cruising through the parking lot on rental scooters and just walking through causing all sorts of noise and disruptions as well as trying to intimidate hotel guests. The upside is that there was constantly a good police presence telling people to move along and stay out of the street. I will not be returning to this area or hotel unless absolutely necessary. I would much rather stay outside of OKC and drive in our find a safer part of town.

The property is in a great location. However, after dark the area turns a little bit too dangerous to have children out in the area. I will say I was impressed with the parking lot security.

Being adjacent to Bricktown was an amazing experience. Walking through the Bricktown waterway and finding a great dining experience at Bourbon St. Cafe provided icing on the cake for our time at this property.

This is the only hotel in Bricktown that faces the canal where the water taxi is located. Walkable to several restaurants and bars. Across the street from the minor league baseball stadium.

Places around were all within walking distance.

Great Location in Bricktown.

Good location walking distance to Paycom center and Bricktown.

3 rd shift team was not very friendly. Had to figure out where to go to get to my room. First shirt team was very professional and nice. Kitchen staff was a bit rude as they cleaned up the breakfast before it ended. Had to get management involved so my kids could eat. Pool was closed , needless to say we bounced right away.

Everytime I come here the staff is so friendly and helpful. Everything always works in the room, its always clean and doesnt have a smell. 90% of the time i dont get to make it to breakfast but the times i have it is fresh and tasts good.

The location was great. Beds were ok. Breakfast was... free tasting. Lol. Fitness room was small, but ok. Issues were: Was told to come back for check in later. Room was not available. Offered a bottle of water for the wait and took care of parking. After checking in, fireplace wasn't working. They offered a discount per night for that, though.

Older property with some wear but overall clean. Staff was friendly. Abigail, breakfast staff, was very good to keep our table clean and ask if we needed anything. Good was great!
