Quick overnight stop after visiting redwoods state Park and crescent City CA. Good Oregon coast location in town near restaurants, beach, and many state parks.Room was clean. Owner was friendly. Easy parking.

They were paving the parking lot which was awkward at first but it worked out great

It fulfilled our needs. Could have used another chair and another nightstand for cpap equip. Parking was not always in front of our unit and as seniors that was a little difficult. Other than that it was good

Room was clean. Parking was easy. Staff was friendly. The only thing that was rough was at night every time someone turned on the water it was making a loud sound. Someone in the room below us or next to us was showering at 11 at night. Kept us up. Until they were done it was so loud.

Parking on site. Pillows were smelly and lumpy but bed ok.

The family suite was a great layout, the kids enjoyed having their own room with their own beds and TV. We loved having dinner together around the table. Microwave worked great. water pressure in shower was great. Flowers around property were lovely and welcoming. Super close to beaches and businesses. Town laundry mat for wash and community pool for swimming. Beds super comfy. Room wasn’t cleaned properly before arrival (trash by beds, personal items, dirty carpet and walls, food in fridge, liner and water in ice bucket. Beds were made though! And towels fresh). Needs more outlet plug ins available. Plugs are behind furniture and one is even missing a faceplate. Fire alarm missing in bedroom. Need places to hang items like bags and towels and more places for suitcases to accommodate 5 or 6 people, closet rack is rusting, floor in bathroom is lifting, fan and heat lamp didn’t work in bathroom so hard to get dry before leaving bathroom, toilet paper ran out only one small roll in bathroom. Parking can be a problem if you arrive later from activities. Reception in the office was spotty, usually someone from housekeeping, I think, would help? No appearance of full time office attendant, appears owners live on site, and employees smoke around the property…even though I believe it’s a nonsmoking motel. One collects bottles and recycling from trash bin it seems….this would be much more attractive if there was a recycling bin for people to place items instead of going through trash.

The only thing that appeared to be cleaned was the bedding. The sinks and shower had soap scum all over them. Floors were filthy. Coffee tray was dirty and had used stir sticks on it.The people upstairs were so loud that I wound up leaving two days early at 4am. I would not stay here again.

Floors are dirty. Our feet were filthy from walking barefoot. We found press on nail from a previous stay on the floor.

The bed was comfortable, but the floor was dirty. My feet got dirty just walking on the carpet. There was stuff behind fridge. We were room 121. It was a little pricey for what it was. I didn't expect fancy but any means but it was a fair place to stay for two nights.

Disappointed and pissed off. Would not recommend. Front desk clerk was not very nice even though I was trying to be friendly. That was the first red flag. Then the plug to fill tub wouldn't work so used a washcloth. Found a dirty towel behind bathroom door that housekeeping missed. Cup with old cigarette butts and just gross left outside of room door. The worst was the coffee pot. Thank goodness I checked the filter box before placing the coffee bag. It was filled with something that smelled funny and was the texture of oatmeal. Took me a good 5 minutes to get it all rinsed out. That was SO gross!!!

Was a clean comfortable room

It was a good stay, my only complaint was the room had a lingering unpleasant mildew smell. Just for that reason I probably won't pick this hotel again, but overall everything else was great and suited our needs. I understand it could have just been that particular room.

Solid hotel – ideal for a one-night stop on a road trip along the Oregon coast. Rooms are simple, clean, and functional. Great value for the price, just right for a short, comfortable stay.

It was a small but well appointed room. Very clean and with the expected amenities. The staff was very nice - and there were no issues with the motel. It's just noisy - as one might expect for a motel on an interstate highway (101). The general traffic was not bad; it was the lumber trucks and too many dirtbags on their Harley Davidson. The dirtbags woke my wife and I up several times until around 2:30. It's a nice place, so my advice is to ask for a room in the back of the property, and not the ones up front like we had.

This is an old MOTEL…it appeared to be clean. It had dark carpet with old furniture. But, the price was good. The bed was comfortable for a night’s rest. It was also loud when others used water in their rooms. I would not have felt it was a safe place for small children. We had the King Deluxe room.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Convenient location. Lots of deferred maintenance. Air conditioner / heater was VERY loud. Road noise also.

The ac was very very noisy.

Room was comfortable but its location made for noisy traffic mornings.

The beds were worn and hard

The room was clean, had plenty of coffee soap etc. It was also well maintained and spacious. The rates were good. I would give it 5 stars except the wifi would not work in my room. Apparently a wifi repeater was missing from it. I would stay there again. Rich the manager was nice and helpful.

It was available when i got in to town later than i wanted. Room was clean but out dated. No staff on site after 9 or 10 pm. But high side was when I accidentally locked myself out, i was able to find someone who knew the management and i was able to get back in... for that im thankful. Only advice, have a emergency line to call for such situations. 3.5 out of 5 imo

The registration staff was unhelpful. I asked what he’d recommend in Brookings and he told me to look online. The sheets were not clean (hair that wasn’t mine). I would not stay there again but if you find yourself in this town, be sure to go to Harris State Park (beach).

Rich was so kind at check in. Housekeeper was so kind as well. Affordable rooms, great location, and very clean! Even had a bit of an ocean view from our room. Perfect for what we needed, thank you!

We arrived and check in was a breeze. The very friendly lady at the office gave me the rundown and pointed me towards our room. We got the perfect room on the lower floor in the corner. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The hotel is right off the main road and close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay!

Upon arrival, after an all day drive, the front desk claimed that my reservation did not exist in their system, Rather than shop around, I settled for a room that was higher priced than my advance reservation.

This was a cute older hotel. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. The location is great! We would stay again.

Very dated property. Capepeted room visibly stained as are the walls. Close to highwqy- lots of road noise.
