I gave this rating 4 stars out of five only because as I were to understand it, there were no working ice machines in the whole building. The elevator was broken. I reserved a ADA accessible room, but there was not one ready for me when I checked in, however, the staff was very accommodating and helped me find a room on the first floor. They also went next-door to get ice for me at the hotel that they share a courtyard with. Overall, the management should make sure that the ice machines are functional. It is Texas for crying out loud and extremely hot here. not having an ice machines that are operational in a hotel is unacceptable no matter what time of year it is. Also, their staff definitely deserves a raise for going above and beyond what they should have to do in their job because the management or whoever is responsible for maintenance does not care enough to make sure that their property is functioning properly. Aside from that the building is a little dated, but it was clean. Breakfast was to be as as expected. They had an omelette making station, your standard roasted potatoes, sausage patties, eggs, cereal, oatmeal options. With muffins, toast, bagels,milk, juice, and coffee available.
