Traveling to Dallas for a conference. Hotel staff were great and friendly. Room was ready on time, clean, spacious and offered a nice view of downtown. I was happy to see the facility had a gym; however some of the equipment was due for repair. It worked for what I needed though. Location was also centrally located downtown.

The problem I had the most issue with was parking...They do not exactly tell you the ONLY option for parking is to valet and its an additiona 45$ a night. They also do not tell you that the closest parking you can walk to is over two blocks away...The hotel itself was fine but understand that parking here is an issue for sure...

Only 1 elevator was operating out of 4. Valet parking was not only expensive, it was awful. Long wait times. Frustrated valet employees. Hotel AC was cold and the temp settings weren’t adjusting. We appreciated the late check out.

Though this property is a bit dated, the location is perfectly walkable in downtown. Valet parking was attentive during the day, but usually absent at night. The room had cleanliness concerns, including severely stained furniture and damaged window shades. I wasn’t aware the on-site restaurant is closed for renovations, and the cafe was lack-luster. Needed to book a room on short notice, but wouldn’t return to this location again.

The Hotel looks great outside, inside it’s nice but the rooms look so old fashioned. Too dark. You can even see a beautiful view because the windows are too old and have lots of water stain on it. The bath tiles have mold and the tub look dirty but the carpet is a nightmare. The tv is 32” plasma, so you can watch only cable channels because it’s not smart tv. I cancelled my reservation the second day.

The valet as well as the staff were extremely friendly. Room was great. Only downside is the very loud noises from motorcycles stopping at the street lights way after midnight. Downtown Dallas hotels need to push the City to get this under control.

I booked this hotel for my business trip. When I checked in at front desk, I was provided a paper with wifi access. As soon as I got to my room, I tried Wifi access and it did not work. When i called front desk, they said they were working on fixing it but didn't know when it will be working. I assumed they would reset it and it would work again. The next day, still not working. I was then told they had no idea when it would be fixed. It appears that they knew they had no Wifi working and didn't want to tell me when I checked in and then initially lied that they were working on fixing. I asked for other options and they had the audacity to tell me to go to starbucks to get wifi access. Ridiculous. I will never be staying here for any of my business trips and have alerted my colleagues as well.

I'm going to be a bit harder on this hotel because it markets itself as a high end property. Location was great - in a safe and attractive area and very walkable to lots of restaurants, bars and the theater we were in town to see a concert at. Staff was friendly, and the price was good for a Downtown property... But those mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. Hard as a rock! Marketed as a queen bed, but it was more of a long full. One of those old spring mattresses that I'd expect more at a Motel 6. My spouse and I tried to share the bed, but two of us barely fit - and every single movement woke the other one up (we actually took turns sleeping on the floor). A terrible night's sleep. We were on a high floor, but the exterior windows hadn't been washed in a long, long time. Years of caked on grime on the outside so the views were terrible. And the rooms were really, really drab. Dark rooms with beige and brown tones and no color or personality. Sink wouldn't drain and toilet required us to open the lid and adjust the floater after every flush or else the tank wouldn't fill back up. If this was a budget hotel, these things would be more in line with my expectations...but I was very disappointed by this property. I'm used to more attention to detail, more contemporary mattresses and general wow factor from Downtown hotels in major US cities.

Elevators were down - only one worked. Valet parking was a good option but super time consuming and brought the wrong car several times and late even after using the service system they asked us to use. Room service was offered once at the beginning of our stay - we asked them to come back and they never did - kept asking for more toilet paper and had to wait - waited a day for new towels and still no room service.

I wasn’t able to check in to my room until 6:35pm. Had to then wait another 45 minutes for my car to be able to get my things out because valet was too busy to help when we arrived at 2pm. Worst hotel stay of my entire life and I travel weekly.

Well $48 for valet is ridiculous, then the guy checking me in was so rude i seriously considered leaving and going to another hotel, no customer service skills at all unless being a complete jerk is the standard, i was told on hotels. Com that it would be $50 for incidentals at check in when i asked why im being charged $100 he got ruder and told me thsts what it is and threw the keys and some papers at me like i wasn't supposed to ask him anything, then later that night/ morning at 2 am when we come back from being out, i had to go inside and find the valet who was asleep along with the security guard, right there in the lobby both of them asleep, had to wake him up to take my care and again with the rudeness from the staff, like thats what im paying for is to be treated badly because I expect them to do there job... Now don't get me wrong nice property, nice room but the staff needs to be replaced i have had more hospitality at a funeral!

The entire staff was incredible! We had an issue with our tub in the bathroom and they immediately switched our room. The parking attendants were so attentive. They even helped us cross the street while getting in our Lyft!!

I enjoyed the location and the convenience to walk to the convention center. The staff was friendly and I will stay there again.

The Magnolia is well-located in downtown Dallas with historic charm and larger-than-typical rooms. I loved my stay and will return.

The Magnolia is a beautiful hotel with lots of history. Staff were friendly and polite and the rooms were clean and spacious. It is in a lovely area with many historic buildings around and great food options close by. Also an easy walk to the JFK Museum, Dallas Art Museum and other points of interest. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Honestly, I was there for only 2 nights and it was average nothing fancy. If anything as a woman traveling solo I was scared because it was so empty. I wouldn't recommend to solo traveling women. I also would not recommend just the downtown Dallas area. It was very ghetto and I am a woman from the south side of Chicago so do with that what you will.

Very nice hotel in convenient, walkable area. Lots of restaurants nearby. The street remains loud at night. No housekeeping service. No breakfast but cute cafe next door. No Expedia VIP benefits: no room upgrade, no free parking ($50/night), no free breakfast. A very nice place to stay.

It does state that it's pet friendly. The room was nice, the view was beautiful. They had places to eat nearby (Subway, Trompo Tacos and the exchange food hall) oh its right across the street from the At&t discovery district which the kids will love

I liked everything about this property except no restaurant on the premises. A coffee shop next door which works in a pinch though and there are restaurants across the street which are good.

This is our favorite place to stay. Consistently GREAT! However this time we had an uncomfortable mattress. Very clean. I wish they had a restaurant though- the coffee shop next week is not enough

My stay was enjoyable. It's always a good day when you wake up and there's good coffee downstairs and a festival with music going on across the street. Very nice walkable area with lots of food and other necessities.

Like that it was downtown walking distance to anything really. CVS behind, AT&T market day across street nice touch. Coffee shop at corner building with in house coffee mugs no need to waste on disposable cups. Older style building but no restaurant or morning breakfast. It’s ok took off to eat at local ones. Other than ok.

Old building! Spotty internet the higher your room is, which was pointed out to me by a staff member at the front desk! She barely showed any empathy during check out!!!

Front desk is okay. I understand it is a older building, but I wanted character not that much. The room was huge, but everything was old including the AC. We felt none, the room was very warm and noo one came to check it. The fire sprinkler in our bathroom above the tub was predominantly and left a rusty stain on the tub. We didn't even use it but we only stayed one night. The valet was the only good part. Friendly, quick and efficient workers.

This is an amazing hotel to stay in. It was very historical and if you have a choice to upgrade your stay it’s worth it to have a full kitchen and the bedroom. It’s located in downtown Dallas.
