The staff were friendly, and the pool was clean and great! Our biggest concern was every room was supposed to be smoke free, but inside and outside the entire hotel smelled of smoke and marijuana. It seemed that the first floor of the hotel is used for long term boarders, most whom smoke and have dogs.

The pool was green, the room smelled like pee, the bathroom was not clean. I think it was the worse place we tried to stay. We couldn't stay it was so bad and they were not willing to refund our money. STAY AWAY!!!!

There were ANY LIGHTS on either the stairs and both the lower and upper levels. I needed to use the flashlight on my phone to see my room. In all honesty, I was really scared as a woman walking alone at night to my room

Great refurbishment going on in the rooms! Some amenities like a lamp by the bed and noisy bathroom fan noticed. Area around parking had lots of rubbish from the refurbishment making a less than good impact on arrival. Junk - tables etc - in the hallway! That said, the room was more than adequate!

The employee at the front desk was nice enough as a person but I would have done things a bit differently had I been in his position. For starters he was relentless when asking if my girlfriend or I had ever stayed there before. I already gave him both ID”s but he still made me go ask her if she had stayed at that location before. I have no idea why this was such a need to know detail that I had to go back to the car to ask but whatever floats his boat I guess. The most irritating part of my stay was the loud power tools being used to renovate the rooms. This started at 7-8am and was ridiculously loud. If I would have known I was going to be woken up at 7 in the morning, I would have paid the extra 8 bucks to stay ar the Red Lion. They should have made a note of the construction and when I expressed my disappointment, something should have been done to reimburse me. It was that bad. Plus they have no lighting in the parking area or the stairway/walkway leading to your room.

The office smelled like something died in there. The room was absolutely dirty, looked like the previous person left and we got the room directly after. Nothing was wiped down. The shower had mold on it, and the trowels had stains. Definitely learned my lesson and should have turned around when the light to the sign wasn’t even on. Waste of money. Will not be coming back. Please learn how to clean your rooms.

This location looks aged and sketchy. The people around it look questionable. The cost is suspiciously reasonable.However, this is the cleanest room I've ever seen! No hairs, dust, specks on the carpet or stains on the sheets. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only noise was from the road. My only complaint is a lot of people smoke outside around the office. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, ask for a room further away. Otherwise, great little spot to stay!

Well the front desk lady was a sweetheart, she was the nicest thing I’ll say about the place. Funky smell in the room, other guests smoking weed outside the door, 2 police officers were there dealing with a man in the evening, sheets were stained with dog paw prints, white dog hair allllll over the bed skirt, the bedding was so thin and provided very little warmth and we could not obtain extra bedding from front desk. Horribly uncomfortable mattresses. But, we got a cheap deal so we got what we paid for.

After waiting 20 minutes in the lobby which was full of trash, someone finally arrived and gave me my room key. They told me there was only room left and there was currently no tv. Even though I reserved a queen size bed on Expedia the room had 2 twins which creaked and had some burns and stains. There were loud noises throughout the night that disturbed my sleep. It smelled strongly of smoke. The location and price were decent.

The staff definitely needs a raise and some help! Having only one person on staff to do housekeeping, checking in, and everything else isn’t enough! The guy there was working non stop. Towels were super soft! Heat lamp was burnt out and the shower was draining SUPER SLOWLY.

This motel is right off the highway. There is a restaurant very next to it. The motel is currently remodeling. The bathroom is brand new. The living area needs some improvements to make it look nicer. Otherwise good place to stop

The employee at the front desk was nice enough as a person but I would have done things a bit differently had I been in his position. For starters he was relentless when asking if my girlfriend or I had ever stayed there before. I already gave him both ID”s but he still made me go ask her if she had stayed at that location before. I have no idea why this was such a need to know detail that I had to go back to the car to ask but whatever floats his boat I guess. The most irritating part of my stay was the loud power tools being used to renovate the rooms. This started at 7-8am and was ridiculously loud. If I would have known I was going to be woken up at 7 in the morning, I would have paid the extra 8 bucks to stay ar the Red Lion. They should have made a note of the construction and when I expressed my disappointment, something should have been done to reimburse me. It was that bad. Plus they have no lighting in the parking area or the stairway/walkway leading to your room.

I had a reservation on 6/13/2026 when I arrived receptionist said I didn’t have a reservation and I tried showing her my phone to show her I had a reservation with confirmation and she didn’t even want to see it. The person was very unprofessional and when I left since she didn’t even want to help me I received a email saying my reservation had been canceled so I had to sleep in my car. I need that money refunded because my credit card doesn’t want to refund my money. The hotel was travellodge in grants pass Oregon

Worst hotel experience of my life. Drunks and crackheads, walking around openly smoking and drinking. Entire property was super filthy smelled like rotten meat coming from my neighbors apartment, which produced a swarm of flies, which infiltrated my room from under the door. The room smelled of stale smoke, which attached to all my clothes from being in there. Every surface was grimy. Everything was sticky smell like stale beer. Property maintenance was nonexistent. There were cracks in the sink floor walls. You could tell there are numerous holes patched over. shower sprayed in multiple directions. Worst hotel experience ever. Absolutely disgusting I wouldn’t stay at this place again if it was free, unfortunately when we arrived, it was two in the morning after a long day of travel. Finding other accommodations was challenging.

The room was horrendous. There was black mold on the walls, it smelled and the ancient bed had metal springs. Would not recommend that anyone stay there.

Property definitely needed updated and cleaned up! This model is actually residential!!! Most rooms have people living in them, and they use the window A/C ledge outside for their ash trays, water bottles, trinkets, leftover food, etc. Many have dogs, barking dogs! Lots of arguments and pounding on doors! Never will I stay in a place like this again! And shame on Expedia for having it on your site, most likely with false reviews!
