We got very little to no sleep, the fire alarms kept going off most of the night into early morning. The room was very dirty, the carpet was disgusting. The pool area was slippery and full of mold. The food was sub par. We will never go there again. They also requested $100 upon check in. I was not told about this beforehand.

The pool was grimy and towel-less, and there was no signage indicating how to use the jacuzzi, which was only about eight degrees warmer than the pool. Also, my TV didn't function and everything was just a little too unclean to ignore. The hallways were particularly disgusting and really need an upgrade.

The hotel seems to be under a remodel. You could see new floors and items everywhere. Room was not cleaned correctly and had extremely dirty floors. the pool was dirty with objects in both pool and hot tub. no signs for the hot tub on how to turn on. Depending on the time the people at the front desk were either nice or rude. Breakfast was very sad and quality was barely good enough to eat. the ok was great. The shower in our room had no pressure and we were in a handicap room and the shower was slippery.

We did not stay at this property after going to our room and finding dirty underwear under the bed along with dust and cobwebs. The outside parking lot was completely vacant at 3 pm and it just had the feeling you may not want to arrive to late at night. We did our best to feel ok here but we just were not comfortable staying. Further review of ratings that marked this property with high ratings show it was the same person multiple times. We book through Travelocity for most trips but we will look more closely next time to find the true reviews which would have told us this wasn’t the place for us. We’ve requested a refund but have not had further response or success with this. Do not recommend this location.

This place is disgusting, nasty dirty the sheets had stains on them! The wall in the room and bathroom were extremely dirty! The bathtub walls were dirty hand prints on the walls. Writing (in pen ) on the headboards furniture peeling away! The rugs in the hallway were filthy it’s smelled terrible MOLD IN THE ROOM BY THE WINDOW AC UNIT! I will never ever stay there again and I will never recommend anyone to stay. I’ve been to many hotels, motels, inns and suits you name it, and I’ve never felt the need to write a bad review if at some questionable stays. I HAD TO LET PEOPLE KNOW HOW DISGUSTING THIS PLACE IS !!

The room was completely filthy. There was some sort of nasty stain on the wall right above the bed, what seemed like makeup smeared on the bed, the bed frames were falling apart, their was a stain on the bed sheet, and the room was just GROSS!!

Seemed clean enough and comfortable enough. Staff and other patrons were friendly. My main criterion was closeness to Dorney Park - worked well for that. I was able to walk to/from the park. Only compaint was that you could hear EVERYTHING that happened in the hallway - bring earplugs if you want to sleep past 7AM.

Room stank like cigarettes, even after being there 3.5 days. One day I forgot to leave the room fan on & came back almost unable to breathe. … The refrigerator froze everything we had regardless how the gauge was set. … one night I awoke to a woman screaming obscenities to someone in the hallway of lobby around 2am. … Roach-like bug running around on the tv stand.

TV on/off didn't work. sink strainer looks like someone took a hammer to it. artwork panels crooked and hanging off wall. Floor in hallway constantly wet like there is a leak somewhere. Breakfast was basically all breads with 1 fruit, raisin bran and stale fruit loops. We won't be back, and I recommend this place changes hands and gets cleaned up.

This is a pet friendly hotel. Walls are quite thin and you can clearly hear water passing through pipes, people talking, and many other noises such as the ice machine and washing and dryer. There are clearly guests there who are staying long term, which is fine, however the heavy smells of meat frying were permeating the halls and were quite nauseating to smell. We had asked to stay on the other floor because of this and the front desk clerk was very accommodating. When we arrived in our new room we saw what appeared to be a large paw print on the bottom sheet. We requested new sheets and that was done. When we woke up there were a couple of german cockroaches (Ty Google Lens) crawling on the walls. Thankfully the floors in the rooms were not carpeted. They looked updated and appeared clean . The main hallways , however were disgustingly dirty. Carpets should be removed. The bathroom door of our room did not shut all the way and the door to our main room had a large, visible gap where you could see into the hallway. We chose this place because it was affordable, pet friendly, and we had a family member in another room and they brought their dog. We also chose it because it had a pool and served breakfast. To be honest, the poor condition of the facility turned us off to using the pool and eating the breakfast, which also looked unappealing. We ended up eating at Dunkin Donuts.

On the surface the room was nice enough, no holes in the drywall & they probably changed the sheets but as you used things you noticed they weren’t that good. I had to slam the door to shut it, from the outside you could see tons of light above and below the door. The key cards were from other hotels and you do not put them into the door with the arrows on the card. The electrical socket next to my bed was not attached to the wall, ok it was not in perfectly plan sight but that kind of made it scarier. I just peered behind the night stand and you could see it plane as day no face plate and I doubt there was an electrical box but it certainly was not attached to it if there was.

The sheets on the bed had blood on them on check-in. My daughter went up to ask for a different room. They handed her bedding sheets and blankets for her to change them instead of giving her a different room. Bathroom was filthy. Property was in poor repair and unsafe so we checked out and went to a different hotel.

Customer service wasn’t great. We tried to ask a question and the person said “google it”. There’s a smell on the hall. The hotel rooms are clean but you can tell that it isn’t being maintained to be updated, there’s hole or scratches, written on some of the walls. The only good thing about the area is it’s convenient, close to the theme park, parking is great. They provide free breakfast but we did not bother to try it.

Good stay marred by an unfortunate incident during check out. I spoke to a guy named Patel who said we can checkout at 12 noon. During our check out day I told a male housekeeper that we were checking at noon. Minutes later the front desk guy named Vic knocked on our door and told us to ´make it fast’ alluding to our check out. It wasn’t even noon yet. To top it all, he wasn’t even at the front desk and I had to wait fo him. So rude- it ruined our stay

I made one reservation for two rooms. When we got there the person on the counter said there was two separate reservations and because of that we have to add a credit card for each reservation. I explained and tried to show him the email I received from expedia but the guys was really rude. The place is old, the pictures they promote are old. The rooms are okay. The hall carpet small bad and the walls are so dirty.

I booked a Room a week before for 1 king. When I arrived the man at the desk gave me a room key and when I arrived at my room there was 2 fulls. I went back down and asked the man for the room I booked and he said they decided to change my reservation. Very disappointed and unsatisfied. Very rude staff.

Besides one staff member, the staff was extremely rude. The breakfast was pitiful, our room was dirty and sheets didn't look washed, and there were dirty towels laying outside people's doors. I had a service dog with me, and they acted like it was an inconvenience. Overall, the place was crap.

Not a bad place. One guy at the desk was very friendly, but old guy was acting like I owed him some money. A big plus is the parking and If you don't have very small kids with you you can walk to Dorney Park. Guy during Breakfast was friendly also.

No Diet soft drinks nor bottled water available and the drinks that were available in the machine in the lobby were not particularly cold. The floor in the bathroom shower did not have a non-slip surface nor a rubber mat available. Room was clean and very reasonably priced. Plenty of eating and convenience facilities within a 1 - 2 minute drive. I will definitely stay here again.

Seemed clean enough and comfortable enough. Staff and other patrons were friendly. My main criterion was closeness to Dorney Park - worked well for that. I was able to walk to/from the park. Only compaint was that you could hear EVERYTHING that happened in the hallway - bring earplugs if you want to sleep past 7AM.

The hotel seems to be under a remodel. You could see new floors and items everywhere. Room was not cleaned correctly and had extremely dirty floors. the pool was dirty with objects in both pool and hot tub. no signs for the hot tub on how to turn on. Depending on the time the people at the front desk were either nice or rude. Breakfast was very sad and quality was barely good enough to eat. the ok was great. The shower in our room had no pressure and we were in a handicap room and the shower was slippery.

First when you advertise an indoor pool you would think it was heated! Nope. My kids couldn’t go in it because it was as cold as the outside. The showers are loud u can hear the rooms around u take showers and u can also hear the people in the rooms around you. My kids didn’t sleep well at all. Also when the heat turns on it’s loud. Morning breakfast was okay except the milk was sour.

Horrible continental breakfast. No pastries, only had a couple small bagels, no hot water to fix what little oatmeal they had. When asked, they thought we were crazy. Then a couple of the workers go and laugh behind our back. Room was in fair condition. Not impressed from past stays at other Howard Johnson hotels.

that jacuzzi and pool was MAGNIFICENT, but other than that, I was severely underwhelmed by stay at this hotel. The room had a weird smell when I arrived, check in took 20 minutes, and they have no rules clearly stating you must be over 21 to stay here, so they wouldn’t take my ID. If I wasn’t with my boyfriend they would’ve just kept my money and I would’ve been SOL.

Room was not so clean and extremely damp. All the comforter were wet, i felt too cold after i put them on. As a result, i just wore my shirt without covering any comforter. AC was noisy. Walls are thin, i could hear the whole conversation outside and next room. No hot pot or coffee machine in the room, i have nothing to drink at all. Breakfast was even worse. Only provided Bagels and pancakes, very cold as well. Nothing else to eat. Front desk staff was busy on his phone, he didn't care about us. I don't recommend this place at all.
