We only stayed one night in this hotel on September 13th. Good location, nice staff. We did not set the alarm on the clock before bed since we were hoping to sleep in for the next leg of our journey the following day. However, our 'clock alarm' went off at supposedly 6 am, but we were awakened by the alarm which, according to my phone, was 2 am. We tried to turn it off, but the on/off button didn't work. Being still half asleep, I attempted to find the outlet, but to no avail. We pressed the snooze button, but it did not solve the problem. Finally, I had to call the reception desk and told her the situation and asked her to come up. She did, but the on/off button was not working, and she eventually got on her hands and knees to find the outlet and yank out the cord. She was very nice and took the clock out of our room. Next morning, I asked the desk clerk and the manager (who were pleasant) to refund our payment. The manager said he could, but it would be troublesome and lengthy for me to get a refund. He said he would give me points to use on another room in the future at any Holiday Inn. He did, but unfortunately, only 5000 points were added to our account. That amount isn't enough to use on another hotel stay so I am quite dissatisfied.
