In general it was an OK property. It indeed was clean and recently updated. The bathroom door didn't fit and it was a real job to get it closed and opened again. It would not have been an issue at all for me, but we had a 15 year old grandson traveling with us. At 75, stairs are not our friend. We were put on the second floor, and no elevator. We did not ask to be changed, but it was difficult. There was noise from the freeway, but it did not bother us. The checkin and checkout were seamless. Would I stay there again? Good question...

Usually stay at the Motel 6, but for some reason it was much more expensive than the Red Roof Inn, Erie. Both hotels are near each other near the Presque Isle casino. Short ten minute drive to city and one exit to Millcreek mall. Unlike Motel 6, it had a mini fridge and microwave. Stayed on the second floor without an elevator which may be an issue for someone with mobility issues. Great stay, would highly recommend.

For a low cost Motel I’ve stayed here for about 4 weeks in 3 different room during my business travels to Erie, this property is always clean and safe, in the room they have most of the amenities you would need, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and a clean bed and bathroom. Good check in and check experience. The property doesn’t provide any food services so you bring your own or frequent one of the fast food restaurants in the area if you’re in to that. The rooms smell like they have been cleaned and you do get daily cleaning services. I would recommend this property if you are looking for a low cost place to stay that is close to all the city of Erie has to offer.

Room was clean. Property is run down but still okay condition. The chairs in the room were stained and ripped up, badly needed to be replaced. The only thing not clean in the place is the windows; they look like they’ve never been cleaned. We appreciated the mini fridge and microwave in the room. Staff and management was very nice. Good hotel for the price!

The place is a no-frills location. Check-in was easy, but they did not provide any when I asked about breakfast. I am not a coffee drinker, but saw coffee in the lobby. The room was clean, and the bathroom was adequate. The AC worked fine. I did not check out the Internet, but I assume it worked.

We are traveling across country. This is the best hotel so far on our trip. So refreshing to find a clean room that is in excellent condition. They only charged us $15.00 for the second dog. First one was free. The room was spacious and we had a television that was user friendly and had many channels to choose from. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. If we were going back this way, we definitely would stop by again. No breakfast, but they had coffee.

Lied about an extra fee. Said it was a pet fee but clearly openly stated pets stay for free without fee. Also only had coffee for complimentary breakfast and wasn’t made or offered.

Terrible. Worst place I have ever stayed. The beds were so bad they were sinking in the middle and about an inch thick. The room was so dirty and smelled like smoke so bad. The coffee maker had mold in it. When we left we went to a new hotel and showered cause we all felt so dirty. GROSS

Felt a little unsafe as the door was previously broken into and never repaired. Plumbing in building 2 was slow and required numerous flushes to go down. The room was dirty, and the bedding was disgusting! You need new top covers. This is embarrassing for all to see. Lighting was broken, and so was the clock. Got up at 4:00 am and got the Hell out of there.

The shower wasn't really hot,toilet wasn't flushing right...next room next to us screaming and pounding. Found bedbugs in the first room , smelled like dogs , flies everywhere. Manager and brother wasn't really concerned.

The carpet had a horrible smell. One of the beds had a sunken hole in it. I went to change the room but was told it was all sold out and there was nothing that could be done.

The room itself was nice,but th e bathroom was tight. Literally had to go in sideways. Also ,when I booked the room, I mentioned that I had afib, and couldn't walk too far. So they gave me a room in the second building, in the pouring down rain in the back. Uber drivers had a hard time finding me.

This hotel is right off the highway. If you stay in a room facing the road, you hear the cars all night that was not comfortable whole place could use an update. It is standard to a red roof has become nothing. Fancy towels were not soft room was as clean as it could be But certainly rundown. I recommend spending a few extra bucks and going across the street to La Quinta.

Very clean. Spacious bedroom with a work desk area and room for a full size ironing board. However, the bathroom was very narrow. I had to stand sideways with the door open to undress to go into the shower. Great water pressure in the shower.

Although the room and towels/sheets/pillows were clean there was a musty smell throughout. There is no carpeting except for a couple of throw rugs/mats so not sure where it was coming from. The air conditioning unit was on the loud side and kept waking me up when it would kick back on.

Red Roof Inn I-90 - Staff was kind. Rooms were clean. Tiny bathroom and a shower curtain that only covers the center or one side of the shower. Room furnishings have had their share of use and show it. As is mentioned in the name, I-90 is right outside the parking lot, making your white noise machine unnecessary.

The Hotel girl who check me in 9/29/23 at 8pm, extremely rude for no reason within 5 minutes of walking in the door she yelled there is a $100 security deposit in case I would smoke or steal something did not understand the rational since my credit card was used to book the room and was on file had a question and she went into attack defensive mode again??All for no reason. I guess that location do not value Customer Service. Same girl who worked today 10/1/23 illegally charged my credit card and extra $ 100 this morning. Because someone said my TV was kind of loud in which I totally disagree. No one came to the room no one call my cell phone no one left a note on the door no one call the room in which the room phone red light would have been on indicating a Massage i was enjoying my peaceful enjoyment excuse me isn't it two sides to a story guess not at this location. This is extortion! calling the corporate office reporting this rude front desk clerk who called and yelled "what was going on in your room". I responded absolutely nothing. She further stated I had to pay $100 for turning my TV up?? Asked for after calling the police and asking her to show me where is that written she could not produce only want a free $100. Would not recommend this hotel not clean smell like a dog was once in the room. But the kicker was a very rude female hotel clerk who gave me the wrong name twice. So new customers do not Go There, pitch a tent. Instead go next door to motel 6

It was a nightmare. The staff was shady and acting weird. The owners live above, but yet nobody could get a hold of them. He wrote my credit card information down on a piece of paper and left it at the desk for everybody to see.
It was a nightmare. The staff was shady and acting weird. The owners live above, but yet nobody could get a hold of them. He wrote my credit card information down on a piece of paper and left it at the desk for everybody to see.

My daughter was traveling from home to her college and had to stop at this hotel for the night. She was by herself and was very nervous. The man who checked her in repeatedly mentioned that she was alone and said her room number out loud while there was another man behind her, waiting to check in, it made her feel very unsafe.

We weren’t able to check in until after 10 PM, fell into bed exhausted. Woke up 15 minutes before check out, called the front desk, she would only extend our check out 30 minutes, unfriendly and extremely curt. From the time we checked in, we felt as though we were an inconvenience. Never again.

We arrived near 1am and got fast, professional service from the staff on duty. That made everything else about our stay feel more welcoming and inviting. The mattresses were comfy & the pillows were plentiful and supportive. The hotel is also very close to at least 4 travel stops, so there were ample options for food and fuel. This place was worth what we paid for it.

Another amazing stay at the Red Roof. Relaxing, quiet, and comfortable. The front desk was polite, accommodating, and professional. Smooth check-in as always. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

We travel out east every year and we stay at the Red Roof Inn coming and going. It’s so convenient getting on and off the freeway and the McDonald’s and gas stations are right there. We’ve never had a bad room, and the hotel staff have always been very friendly and helpful. We will definitely continue staying here.

This hotel is right off the highway. If you stay in a room facing the road, you hear the cars all night that was not comfortable whole place could use an update. It is standard to a red roof has become nothing. Fancy towels were not soft room was as clean as it could be But certainly rundown. I recommend spending a few extra bucks and going across the street to La Quinta.

If you need a place to lay your head for a few hours, this hotel is affordable and clean but no frills. I much prefer the indoor corridor rooms for safety and quiet. There's a McDonald's next door. The parking lot facing I-90 feels sketchy at times. The clerk was quite friendly and check in was easy.

The room was basic but had all needed amenities including coffee machine. It was very clean with a comfortable bed. It was right next to the highway so it was convenient. I would definitely recommend it and the price was good!

The place is a no-frills location. Check-in was easy, but they did not provide any when I asked about breakfast. I am not a coffee drinker, but saw coffee in the lobby. The room was clean, and the bathroom was adequate. The AC worked fine. I did not check out the Internet, but I assume it worked.

We are traveling across country. This is the best hotel so far on our trip. So refreshing to find a clean room that is in excellent condition. They only charged us $15.00 for the second dog. First one was free. The room was spacious and we had a television that was user friendly and had many channels to choose from. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. If we were going back this way, we definitely would stop by again. No breakfast, but they had coffee.

We were roughly halfway into a 1900 mile roadtrip and needed to find a place to sleep before finishing the trek. We searched for rooms that included breakfast, and since we were just passing through hoped for something fairly inexpensive. This room was the one we chose as it looked to be fairly highly rated. But for $132 (before taxes and insurance) it certainly leaves something to be desired. The drain in the showe looked corroded, the floors felt like they needed a deep DEEP clean and the "free breakfast" was a McDonalds voucher good between 5:30am and 10:30am. Neither myself nor my son are big fans of McDonalds and since we were leaving before 5:30am it was useless anyway. It was really a hard thing to accept paying that much for what I would consider a 1.5 star Inn at best.

The room was very damp. To the point that the dampness curled the pages of the book I brought with me. The washroom had insects in it, and the toilet was filthy. If I had planned to stay for more than one night, I would’ve found somewhere else to stay.
