Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pittsburgh Airport

The only thing I was unhappy with was that when I stayed there in Oct the shuttle was $5 a person and this time they charged me $10. That's quite excessive, I think. Next time I'll opt for more room and a free shuttle.

There's only one elevator and it was usually in use. The TV in my room didn't work. I didn't have the internet password and there was no one at the front desk to help me. I could hear lots of noises in the hall during the night.

We only stayed one night. I can see why it's called Microtel, the room was pretty small. I booked this location because it said free parking, only to be told that was not the case since we did it through a 3rd party site and not directly to their site. I guess live and learn

The roof fell in on the entryway in front of the main entrance.

Rooms were very comfortable and pretty clean. The issue we had was the airport transport and parking. We were not told we would have to pay $30 to park there during our trip. Also the shuttle fee was $10/ person( group of 5 made it an additional $40. They really need to specify that on Hotels. Com

The property didn't look like the pictures and was under construction when we got there so we had to deal with roofers banging early in the morning and just throwing shingles off the roof as well as the door to the room was falling of the hinges so you had to lift the door to close it all the way and the toilet was leaking

Place was fine but there was roof replacement noise when we arrived at 6 pm that continued till 7:30 pm.

They advertise free parking but it's not. They charged me $65 to park there for five nights. Just as much or more than parking at the airport. It is a rip off. Shame.

Called before booking and inquired whether they still had the shuttle service to the airport and was told yes. Was not told it was 20 per passenger or if you were leaving your vehicle at the hotel it was 65. It was free a year and a half ago. Won't go back

Soda machone not working, ice machine not working. Prople fighting in the hallways. Music bumping a 3am

Rooms were dirty, linen hadn’t been changed they weren’t stained. Breakfast by far worst. Bagels muffins and make your own waffle only. Milk wasn’t available. The waffle batter was gone and no staff to fill it. The juice machine wasnt working. Our floor smelled so bad. Best part was bathroom had heat light in it.

The room, and especially the bathroom, wasn't especially clean. Scuff marks on the wall, and smudges on the headboard and mirrors. There was hair all over the bathroom floor, and the tub was pretty dirty. Basically, i don't think the cleaning was very thorough. The front desk staff was nice, though.

Property is decent for 1 night; I found it not as clean as other properties I've stayed at in the same area. Breakfast was very basic and picked over, things weren't cleaned nor replenished...Attention to cleanliness is needed, dirty front doors and my room could have been cleaned better as well

The property looks great on paper. In reality the place could stand an update. Not only that there was a mouse in our room. We will not be coming back to this his place again.

This hotel was horrible, the staff is absolutely rude they don’t have any customer service. The hotel was horribly dirty, our pillows had blood all over them and the bathroom was disgusting.

The check in person was so soft-spoken we could barely understand her. The HVAC unit was extremely noisy and would only either blow out frigid air or heat. Otherwise it had to be off and stifling. There was a grocery bag tied up and covering the smoke detector. Dirty, used water bottles were in the room when we checked in. We ended up leaving at 1:00 am as it was just an unpleasant place to be.

Stay away from this place! As soon as we checked in and got the key card and headed to the room there was already a bad odor. When we went in the room it was a dirty room hair in the tub & floor, you can tell they didn’t mop it or clean the toilet. Under the sink near the garbage can on the floor was an old contact lenses that was dropped that’s how I know for sure they didn’t clean the bathroom. The bed sheets were dirty and the pillows had booger snots on them. The night stand between the beds had coffee staines from coffee being spilled. I called service desk and offered another room this one we had to wait 5 min because it was actually being cleaned. Not much better they didn’t sweep or mop the bathroom floor, the bed sheets were cleaned. Sanitized the bathroom with bleach and stood just for the night since it was just to sleep and it was late. Oh and the continental breakfast isn’t good at all not many options. Just fruit loops cereal, raisin brand , waffles, apples and juice. Very disappointing. The place is worth it for the price .

Check in was horrible. Management said I only reserved one room even after I gave her the reservation #. Finally got that issue worked out. 1) Bugs everywhere, including the room. 2) spiderwebs on the lights fixtures. 3) door would not properly shut. 4) red stains on the carpet.

Well, this place was something, we ended up sleeping in our clothes on top of the bed cover because bed was dirty, hairy and badly stained. Even bathroom felt bad i wanted to steam myself after staying there. Luckily we only needed 7 hours of sleep

Checked into the room and not only did our smoke free room reek of smoke, but the room had bed bugs. We left within the hour.

The air conditioner in the room did not work so it was stuffy and very hot

I couldnt sleep due to 1- walls shaking 2 - rattling A/C system 3 - very old mattress sinking in. Clean but shabby all around. I changed reservation with no problems but— please beware. The staff are very nice. Breakfast and amenities barely existent. Wonderful area for shopping restaurant options (strip mall type).

The room was a little small and could use a little updating however, it was a quiet hotel. It was very convenient to shopping, restaurants pretty much anything you might need.

We Had a vibration sound in our room AC unit, we were unable to sleep all night

First,there was no one at the desk when we arrived,we had to call out to find the clerk,who was apparently doing laundry.It was only 330 pm in the afternoon. Afterwards the room was ok, pretty clean,sort of dated,mattress was a bit lumpy.Having a room facing the parking lot on the ground floor was a negative though.I heard most of the voices and loud noise from trucks late at night.It couldnt be sound proofed as there was a gap to the outside around the air conditioner.This also let in the smell of people smoking cigarettes outside,which was so strong it woke me up the first night. There were light blocking curtains on the window,but I had to be careful to close them at for privacy as my room was in the direct sight of the parking lot;I think maybe microshades would have been a better choice for the ground floor. I was there for several days ,on the third I found some sort of beetle,not sure if it was from inside or outside. It made me somewhat uncomfortable but I never saw another. The staff seem disinterested;when I went out to the breakfast area on day 2, the jug holding batter had leaked allover the floor.Even though the desk clerk had a direct line of sight to it I had to point it out. A staffer called out to me in the hall at 7A the day of checkout to ask when I was leaving,I told him about 730. At 720 I found my key card was inactivated!I asked the clerk for another to get things in the room, and she confirmed checkout time was 1130-dont know what that was about!

To put is simply, there are better Wyndham options in the same price range in the area. The rooms are small; the breakfast is limited; the hotel needs repairs/updating. The most significant thing, however, is the walls are thin, so you hear everything. Someone next to my room left their television on all night - very distracting and the noise level made it hard to sleep. The rooms are very small - only a bed, desk and bathroom - no couch or living area. For two people, the room would be tight; for one person on a short trip it is okay. The property needs maintenance. There are other similarly priced options in the airport area that give you a pool, a bigger room, and a better breakfast.

The bathroom felt like a prison with the lighting and the bath. The room was fine but the walls are very thin and we could here the neighbors. Less than pleasant experience

Room was clean, however, there were some hairs leftover in the bathroom which should have been addressed at cleaning. They need better WIFI for the TV. You turn on TV and it states "NO SIGNAL". I went back to front desk to inform them and receptionist told me to hit the "UP BUTTON" for the channel on the remote and then the channels would appear. They did but who needs to do that in the first place?? They also need a TV menu card for the list of channels.

Very friendly and respectful staff. The breakfast was very basic but I had the opportunity to watch them set it up and I was impressed to see the time and effort put in by the staff to clean all surfaces before setting up fresh food. I observed some unruly guests using obscene language with the staff while checking out for no reason. The staff kept their respectful tone and remained professional.

I paid for the room until 11am, there was a employee that unlocked my door and walked in at 9:38 am. I told the front desk and they played it off like it was no big deal. They are very unprofessional and sneaky. I recommend no one stay This place. Your not safe there.

This property is terrible. The service is awful. They are very rude. They should not be part of Wyndham.

The staff were nice and helpful

System was down when we arrived to check in but the staff got it taken care of fairly quickly. Rooms were clean and nice. Staff was very nice until it came to check out time. They knocked in doors starring at 10 am and even opened the door when they sisnt hear us respond quick enough. We had two rooms and my frienda in the second riom were running a bit behind. There was a staff member knocking in the door and then standing out side the door waiting. I walked out and she gave me a doety look and asked if there was anyone else in there. It was 11:05. I saod they were grabbing the last of their aruff and would be pit in a minute. She signed heavily, rolled her eyes, and plopped against the walll as she waited foe them to exit. I understand they have things to be done before the next check in but she was rude and made you feel unwelcome.

No one was at the desk when we arrived. Waited about 15 minutes for someone to come. By then, there was a line behind us of 8 other people trying to check in too.

Property ok, but I did not appreciate being walking in on by staff who keyed into my room. In the lobby while waiting to check in, I witnessed a woman complain to start about it happening to her twice. Seems to be very common at this establishment.

Very convenient to Robinson shopping district. Free and safe parking. Quiet hotel.

The desk manager was very helpful and gave us an early check-in. The place was very clean, everything worked, and in a very good location.

In a good location off the highway

Next door to Target and Walmart so thats a bonus.

Everything was good and as expected. Restaurants and a target nearby to get some food or any belongings you forgot to pack. I’d stay here again if in the area.

The breakfast needs to be improved

What you get on a budget drive by hotel. Breakfast was sooo limited…I hate comparing but no more Wyndham for me..it’s 0 out of 3 on my 3 Wyndham stays on my coast to coast road trip

Poor and very limited breakfast. the hotel is very conveniently located near everything you may need from Targets to wal-mart, burgers and fries to pancakes. it's all within walking distance.

Breakfast was limited and no one was tending to it . So by 8am there wasn’t even coffee left . Left my garbage cans by the door in the hall they sat there all day . One roll of TP in the bathroom .

The miniature dining area was dirty. Sugar was all over the countertop. Almost every table was dirty. There was not much served for breakfast. Plus, there was no butter for the bagels or for the waffles. The cereal container kept dumping out cereal on its own, spilling on the countertop. The rooms were not exceptionally soundproof. You could hear the travelers above your room and in rooms adjacent until late hours. For the price paid - so not worth it.
