DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh - Green Tree

Hôtel qui a vraiment besoin d’un rafraîchissement général et d’un entretien régulier. Parties communes et chambre sales. Piscine agréable mais très bruyante le week-end. Personnel pas très agréable et personne ne parle français. Voiture indispensable. N’y retournerai pas .

My favorite part of the stay was their excellent breakfast buffet including scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, pastries, bagels (even with lox, capers and red onions) plus a waffle maker, cereals, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, etc. It was a true breakfast buffet! Besides that, the beds were very comfortable, the rooms quiet (except the air conditioner was a bit noisy), the parking free and access and the grounds were well kept.

Spent three nights at the Double Tree in April during the NFL draft. Arrived late on Thursday night and after checking in walked into the bar/restaurant area looking for something to eat. The restaurant was five minutes from closing but the staff was very accommodating and got an order in for me. Bonnie and Michelle at the bar were very fun to talk with and gave great service each night as we came back from downtown. Pool area was great with a large hot tub and heated pool. Room was wonderful. I would definitely stay at the Double Tree again.

Positives: Pleasant staff and great breakfast buffet was available (additional cost) Negatives: Front desk staff was not informed or knowledgeable about transportation to the NFL Draft (which was the reason everyone was in town) Housekeeping did not replace towels they removed (no face cloths / only 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel for 2 people) and bath gel was empty.
