We made a last minute reservation for one night. Easy parking, lovely grounds. Reception was welcoming, helpful, and efficient, gave wonderful dinner recommendation. Short drive to lovely town and wonderful dinner. Great short stay.

The room was very comfortable and the service was very friendly. The fitness room is well equipped and maintained. There aren't a lot of dining options, but the breakfast options were sufficient. The grounds are very nice. I'd be very happy to come back.

Easy parking, nice facility. Great gym. The food choices are limited at breakfast, but the folks working in the cafe are very nice and helpful. The room had a bit of extra space (desk, comfy chair), giving us a bit more room to spread out.

When we stayed here, there was construction going on on the street leading to the main entrance and also in parking lot, making it very difficult to gain access. The situation was made much worse by the thunderstorm which made driving more challenging due to the sheets of water being dumped on my windshield. When I called to get guidance on how to access the hotel from an alternate road which the sign indicated was preferable, the woman at the front desk was not at all helpful and seemed not even to know the main road leading there was blocked off completely. She never gave me directions on how to arrive on the alternate route. This was an extremely frustrating experience. The hotel itself is nice but not impressed with the customer service.

Property is gorgeous and very convenient to Villanova University. Lots of events and conferences that made parking for hotel guests not convenient. Construction going on at hotel that started at 7:30 in morning so not good for relaxing or sleeping in. Room cleanliness could have been better. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable of area.

The Inn is simple, but still a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are nicely decorated, with a pretty view. The beds are quiet and it’s VERY quiet. There are no food options at the hotel, but a small cafe offering drinks (evening) and coffee with a breakfast wrap (morning) is on site. The rooms all have small refrigerators. There are pleasant short walking trails and a a gym, on site.

Front desk gal (long dark hair) who checked us in on Friday evening May 12 was not warm or friendly. The other downers are that there's no breakfast, bathroom floor was sticky/unclean, no coffee maker in room, mattresses are meh, no bathroom vent. Plusses are that this is a handsome property, generally v clean, lovely grounds.

There was no soap in the soap dish . You had to step into the shower and pump the shower gel . There was no trash receptacle in the bedroom area, only in the bathroom. Bed was very soft. Closet had a strange odor & the ironing board was propped up against the closet . Unsightly. For the room cost, your amenities could be of a higher caliber.

The Inn at Villanova is one the loveliest hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms facing the pond have a nice balcony to enjoy the trees and birds. The Inn is very convenient to visiting area colleges. I will definitely return!

First time we have stayed here although we frequent the area as we have family nearby. The room was spacious and convenient. The only downside was that the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Very hard and noisy/squeaky/crunchy. It Was strange. Had it not been so late when we got into the room we would have asked for a change.

Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. TV kept flaking out. Concierge was friendly and helpful. As other reviewers mentioned cafe was open at 6 but no one there to serve until 8:30, then they were very nice.

This was a lovely, quiet place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We loved our private balcony overlooking a pretty garden and some beautiful trees. Nothing fancy, but all you might need. We had a peaceful stay and definitely would return.

Newly renovated in good condition and very clean. Rooms were cold in winter, and thermostats set in room to preclude thermostat on interior wall temperature above 75 degrees. Window and exterior walls and exterior bed was 65 degrees and too cold in winter. Hallways and public spaces were warm.

This property is beautiful. I had a large room with a king size bed, a balcony with a view of the bucolic grounds and everything was top notch, from the mattress, tv, plush bathrobe, washroom and toiletries. Staff was super friendly and efficient. Would have liked to have had a latte in the cafe but the machine wasn’t working. Other than that, my stay was excellent. Super close drive to downtown Wayne and great restaurants. Would stay here again in an instant.

Great hotel with attentive staff. Thank you to Andrew at the front desk, tall Andrew, for making sure we received all of our packages we had delivered to the hotel. He went well above and beyond to make us feel like we were an important guest, not just another person with a key-card. We plan on visiting this area on a regular basis and will always check to see if there is availability before looking at any other property. Oh, and the rooms are a larger size not the new style tiny rooms you typically get.

The view to the back is very pretty w/ all the patio stones and steps. The front of the inn is not that appealing, could use some curb appeal. There was a mix up at check in, they gave our room to another guest by accident. We had to wait about 30 minutes after checking in while they were trying to find another room for us. They were going to pull that guest out saying he’s only been in there for a few minutes and give that room back to us. We had to tell them that we wanted a new/different room. It was crazy that they were going to do that!

The view to the back is very pretty w/ all the patio stones and steps. The front of the inn is not that appealing, could use some curb appeal. There was a mix up at check in, they gave our room to another guest by accident. We had to wait about 30 minutes after checking in while they were trying to find another room for us. Love the Inn's Villanova decor and close proximity to the university. The rooms are spacious and clean, it has a warm and friendly campus clubhouse feel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would love to stay here again when I come to visit!

This property is beautiful. I had a large room with a king size bed, a balcony with a view of the bucolic grounds and everything was top notch, from the mattress, tv, plush bathrobe, washroom and toiletries. Staff was super friendly and efficient. Would have liked to have had a latte in the cafe but the machine wasn’t working. Other than that, my stay was excellent. Super close drive to downtown Wayne and great restaurants. Would stay here again in an instant.

When we stayed here, there was construction going on on the street leading to the main entrance and also in parking lot, making it very difficult to gain access. The situation was made much worse by the thunderstorm which made driving more challenging due to the sheets of water being dumped on my windshield. When I called to get guidance on how to access the hotel from an alternate road which the sign indicated was preferable, the woman at the front desk was not at all helpful and seemed not even to know the main road leading there was blocked off completely. She never gave me directions on how to arrive on the alternate route. This was an extremely frustrating experience. The hotel itself is nice but not impressed with the customer service.

The Inn at Villanova is one the loveliest hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms facing the pond have a nice balcony to enjoy the trees and birds. The Inn is very convenient to visiting area colleges. I will definitely return!

The Inn was beautiful. Really nice rooms. The TV was nice. The cafe had free coffee but the breakfast sandwiches were a bit pricey. They didn't have a bathtub only a shower. There were no sidewalks so we couldn't walk anywhere. You needed to take an Uber if you wanted to go anywhere. We took a train to get there so we didn't have a vehicle.

Area was scenic with lots of old-world charm. It was close to downtown , with various campuses and beautiful stone buildings everywhere. Stores were nearby. Check-in was pleasant and easy. Staff was helpful and made us feel at home. Building and rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully designed and very comfortable.We loved it and hope to go back soon!

Amazingly wonderful find! Our family was traveling through the area and we needed a 1-night stay close to the King of Prussia area and the Inn at Villanova University was perfect! The area surrounding the inn was beautiful - garden setting in the back, cafe was delish for morning breakfast, room was clean, art work throughout was lovely and staff was very polite and welcoming.

Amazingly wonderful find! Our family was traveling through the area and we needed a 1-night stay close to the King of Prussia area and the Inn at Villanova University was perfect! Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. TV kept flaking out. Concierge was friendly and helpful. As other reviewers mentioned cafe was open at 6 but no one there to serve until 8:30, then they were very nice.

The Inn at Villanova is a very nice hotel with good amenities, an option of a room with 2 queen sized beds, very clean, and high end. It definitely feels like a 4 star hotel rather than its 3 star rating. It doesn’t have dinner options at the hotel, and breakfast options are limited, but its proximity to several colleges in the area is fantastic, and the rates are better than the Inn at Swathmore, and the closest Doubletree and Marriott hotels, which are a lot further away from Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Villanova.

Easy parking, nice facility. Great gym. The food choices are limited at breakfast, but the folks working in the cafe are very nice and helpful. The room had a bit of extra space (desk, comfy chair), giving us a bit more room to spread out.

Only problem is we went to the cafe once an hr before it closed , no one around and when they did come , they wouldn't make us a pizza cause she cleaned the oven already

Clean, no frills hotel. Good for a quick visit to Villanova. Comfy duvet, but mattress and pillows only average. No dining option other than grab and go bfast with minimal options. There is a sun shade on window but no blackout shade or drapes so room gets light as soon as sun comes up.

The Inn is simple, but still a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are nicely decorated, with a pretty view. The beds are quiet and it’s VERY quiet. There are no food options at the hotel, but a small cafe offering drinks (evening) and coffee with a breakfast wrap (morning) is on site. The rooms all have small refrigerators. There are pleasant short walking trails and a a gym, on site.

Nice shower. Pillows lumpy. No decent restaurant, very limited snack shop with limited hours. Espresso coffees were awful, beans were stale and not even espresso beans judging from the color. For the price, there was nothing to lift the experience above a basic motel that would have cost half the price. A complimentary continental breakfast would have been nice instead of the egg/sausage/cheese sandwich which was dried out on a large Kaiser roll without butter or other condiment, basically unseasoned and inedible, for which I was charged approx $7.00. Would not stay here again.

This is a lovely spot to relax, with its peaceful surroundings and plenty of greenery. You can easily get to Villanova, Haverford, and Bryn Mawr in a short drive. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants, but you’ll need a car to get around. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean with free parking. .

Gorgeous hotel near campus. Just a tad too quiet though. There is a cafe and bar area but nobody was ever frequenting the hotel bar and cafe. I’d stay here agin, but it’s really not a place to meet other parents which I was hoping it would have more social component

A quiet and quaint hotel that is very well cared for. The rooms are spacious and the mattress is high-end! Staff is on it. I won’t stay anywhere else when I am in Philly.
