Decent place to stay near Newport and Narragansett. Few loose hairs on bed and in shower on arrival. Towels had stains. Lock on door was half broken. Bed was comfy, location good and good price.

It is definitely an older hotel but the staff were so nice and helpful. The room is big and it was very clean. The beds were also very comfortable. It has everything you need. It's just older but I would choose it over several other places. We were very surprised at the breakfast and coffee bar. The options were much more than we thought they wou

What an amazing find. The hotel we were supposed to stay at and Narraganett was undergoing construction and we have upon this Holiday Inn. Great location, close to Narraganett, Wakefield, Wickford and the beaches. I was amazed at how well thought out this hotel was. From a nightlight and nonslip surface in the bathtub/shower to the amzing Italian restaurant Locanda located just off their main lobby

Terrible experience and stay, would not recommend. We arrived (after a 5 hour drive) a few mins before 3:00, (check in is at 3). We were told by two deer in headlights front desk employees that no rooms are ready to check in at this time. I asked why no rooms are ready at the time we were told we could get into our room. I explained we had just traveled far we have a wedding at 6 and need to get into our rooms to get ready. They called room service said it should be 30 mins but no more. We asked if there was a place to grab a bite to eat around and they were both very unhelpful said there's not much.....so we had to find food on our own. She said she would call me when the room is ready, took down my number. 40 mins later we returned and I walked in and she looked at me like she's never seen me. I said is my room ready?......blank stare oh yes sorry I was supposed to call you, yes it's ready. Well once we got to the room it was 76 degrees and humid. Checked the bed, filthy, stains all over sheets and duvet, some red staining all over fitted sheet. Had to call housekeeping to come in and change everything. they did and when they put a new duvet on that had a huge stain as well. He offered to change it but we had to get ready for the wedding which was now in an hour. I asked if they could come back after 6 when we were gone to change the duvet....this was never done. The hotel is ill kept (pain chipping off everywhere, dirty rugs, bathrooms) and it is poorly run.
