Comfort Suites West Warwick - Providence

The pool was empty not sure how long it has been inoperative. This was not disclosed when booking with Orbitz. Front door to the hotel was broken and stayed open during brutally cold temperatures. Fitness room floor was flooded.

First thing the pool was closed for repairs. Room we got the bathroom was flooded and smelled off. Second room we got had throw pillows on the beds with no pillow cases, smelled off and had large black ants everywhere. We immediately went to the desk and checked out. We checked out 10 min after check in and went to another hotel.

Cook was kind and friendly. Too much bleach in pool. Elevators were too overwhelming of cleaning supply smell. Room was never restocked over our 3night stay.

Huge red stain on the carpet at the entrance of our room, the only ice machine that worked was on the 2nd floor, and the first night we stayed there was no hot water for the shower. All 3 of us had to take cool showers that kept going cold then back to cool..horrible.

Only negative was the pool wasn't available

Pool closed but not on website. Toilet broken. 1 roll tp for 4 people for 4 days. No discount for down amenities and language barrier issue.

This had been a quality place but it has not been kept up. Furniture is shabby and the pool is empty with no indication that anyone is working on it.

This was our third time staying here. It’s gone downhill. The hotel needs an upgrade. The pool was closed and the ice machine on our floor was broken. No coffee available when we checked in. Big stain on the carpet in our room. Sadly it’ll probably be the last time we stay here unless it gets an overhaul.

We had two rooms with this reservation. None of the phones worked. One room had a toilet that ran constantly. The woman at the front desk sent someone up to fix it. He said he needed to get a part to fix and would come back. The other room was extremely hot. The window was open and the AC was on 88. We closed the window and turned the AC up. When we returned later that night, the toilet was not fixed (repair was obviously not performed). The room with the AC problem was like a sauna in there. The front desk was very nice and moved us to another room. She did everything she could could do to help. But, the condition of the facilities in the hotel were very poor. The pool was also out of order. For a hotel during tourist season, this is not inviting. Bottom line, the front desk rectified the AC problem and was very nice. But the hotel itself needs some repairs and upkeep. I don't think we will be staying here again.

Everything is good except the pool was closed until further notice. I have kids that was the whole reason I book this hotel.

Found bed bugs

Cleanliness could be improved. The bedding had stains. The dust on everything and lack of clean air smell was visibly noticeable. The breakfast was good. Employees inin breakfast rooms

Unit was dirty and smelled like mold. Black mold around edges of tub, bathroom smelled like urine, bathroom walls were stained. Sheets/blankets smelled unclean/stale. Toilet had mold forming along edges and orange mold/mildew along rim of seat. I could not find a front desk attendant to switch my room out. Very unhappy. Would not reccomend

Horrible room …. I got multiple pictures . My blanket that was on top of the bed had holes , he had blood stains and other marks . Went downstairs to complain about the issue all the front desk did was give me another blanket that wasn’t white … next day left early morning , came back in the late evening expecting for a clean room and sheets and didn’t have nothing . Went to the front desk and asked if they can clean the room and the man told me loud and clear we clean every 3 days . Which is very disgusting. Went back to the room to put the ac on and it smelled like urine . Ended up opening the ac united and seen nothing but mold . I’m so disgusted. Room was definitely not worth 330.

Our experience at this hotel was horrible. My daughter woke up covered in bed bug bites all over her body. My spouse saw a bug in our bed in the morning and developed bites on her body throughout the day. I have been calling the hotel and asking to speak to a manager, only to be told that the manager is very busy. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I’m not quite sure where to begin. To start, a simple mistake, missing soap in the bathroom. A quick request fixed that. But soon to follow, it was evident the room was not properly cleaned. The desk had smudges of some material smeared on it along with a chewed pen cap, the drawers kept opening and were covered in hair and a dirty balled tissue. The ceiling had stains. The sheets had stains from blood and the comforter, more disgusting yellowing and another stain. We slept without it to say the least. The shower curtain sis not fit the drooping bar and kept sliding when trying to shower causing water to leak despite the constant attempts to shift the curtain while trying g to shower. Ridiculous. The bathroom was a steam zone because the fan did not work. Stains on the couch. Left over ice cream in the freezer - who knows how long that was there. Hair all around the sink. I could not get out of there fast enough. We tried to talk to the manager - who was conveniently not available today so now we must email him. Awful amounts of money on a disgust room where I could barely sleep because I was so grossed out. Never stay. Renter beware. The only reason I gave a 2 was because the lady at the front desk was lovey polite and apologetic. I’m sure she has heard all this before.

The control panel for the AC was hanging off of the unit. An electrical outlet had a broken panel. Generally, the property seemed in disrepair.

Hot breakfast was good. Staff was nice. Pool was very cold. Our room was a double bed with pullout couch and was clean except a few spots on the chair and back of the bathroom door. Good for the price

Nice facility, not on busy road, quiet. On the minus side, desk clerk was rather unhelpful, refrigerator didn’t work, toilet valve leaked, telephone inoperative, desk power outlet dead.

Front desk staff was polite. Room was good size. WiFi was slow, and poor TV reception. Bathroom needs extra cleaning and update (re-grout)

Good location - affordable - comfortable roomy suite. Work on updates and maintenance - drippy sink faucet, old stained rug, unfrosted freezer and broken temp knob in fridge, only 2 hangers closet.

Room was nice overall but the bathroom was small. Hotel itself was also nice with no major issues outside of a malfunctioning room key and ice machine.

The room was spacious and clean. There was adequate parking and the hotel was conveniently located for highway access without being right off the highway (so there wasn’t highway noise). The AC /heat unit was noisy. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay. The free breakfast was very basic.

The room size was great! Comfortable beds & sheets. Breakfast was decent.

When arriving at the property, it didn’t look too bad. The staff is not very welcoming. Felt like they didn’t want to be there. When we got to the room, I went straight to the shower (because we had just left the beach). We booked the room for 5, but only had 4 towels (not really a big deal), then I went into the shower. The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall and tilted, so the curtain wouldn’t stay closed, which then soak the bathroom floor. Then I went to put my shampoo and conditioner on the little shelf when I realized

Fist fights and yelling all night long. Couldn’t sleep. I don’t mind the weed smoking but purposely aiming the smoke blowing into my a.c is crazy. More and more people showed up to “party”. Employees did nothing to stop it. Unreal. Horrible service but wouldn’t expect anything less in Rhode Island

Room was clean, plenty of parking. We did not have any bath towels to shower or a hairdryer in our room. We needed to check out before 9 am when apparently housekeeping arrives. The desk clerk could only offer us 2 small wash clothes in place of bath towels and a hairdryer replacement was not an option. The desk clerk was not very pleasant or accommodating. I would not recommend this hotel.

I like the fact that this hotel was central to downtown Providence and surrounding restaurants room was big and comfy I was able to early check in and late checkout with no issues on a holiday weekend Prices are reasonable Downsides *No fresh towels unless I asked (no cleaning service until your 3rd day stay apparently you have to call and ask and when I did the gentleman at the front desk told me to find the cleaning lady on our floor and ask her myself) *We stood on the fourth floor(the only ice machine that works was on the 2nd) *My tub was clogged so kept filling up quickly & water took forever to get hot so I took a hot shower every other shower depending who went first *Pool was out of service into our 2 day of my stay *It snowed stormed pretty bad while I was there into the night NO ONE SHOVELED the side walk entrances that night (the next day it rained turned it all into ice and slush)HUGE SHOUTOUT TO THE POOR FRONT DESK KID THEY MADE SHOVEL IN THE RAIN THE NEXT DAY IN HIS SHINEYSHOES OUTFIT 4 STARS FOR THIS KID imagine walking in and out of your hotel seeing ice and snow fall off the hutches or ice patches in the parking lot Sad part is prices where super reasonable so I'd like to stay here again just not with all the in betweens

Good service

This Comfort Inn has a wonderful staff. They were friendly and efficient. The hotel location is great too. It’s only a 14 minute drive to Providence. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants. We enjoy Rhode Island every year; we will be back. :) 😀

We stayed at the CS for 2 nights with other families staying as well. Two rooms had garbage in their room as if it had not been cleaned at all! Garbage. Never again. My personal opinion - booked thru Expedia and needed to change my reservation so I worked with them in that. I also needed to make a request for an early check-in for one day. The property refused to help me and I spent a lot of time on the phone with Expedia who also tried repeatedly to pass this request on to the property. Expedia cannot grant this particular request but they could never speak to the manager every time they called. Eventually I had to call the night before because they never responded and the front desk person put me on hold (put the phone down) and literally forgot I was there. She didn’t come back. After 12 minutes of listening to sounds from the desk, I hung up and called back. When I said hey you left me on hold for 12 minutes and never came back, she just said oh ok. It took a minute for her to say sorry and then it took another 20 minutes for her to understand what I was asking. It was difficult to communicate bc she did not speak English. She was also unpleasant. The room was not nice - toilet had a drip from the tank which made the floor wet and the carpeting and sofa didn’t appear clean at all. There is a very nice Springfield Suites down the road 500 feet. Stay there.

Excellent staff on site very kind and very accommodating with all needs. Rooms and entire hotel were very clean.

The facility is run-down and needs a refresh. Our room was beat up. There were stains on the bedding, dents on the walls, and scuffs in the bathroom sink. We found a muffin underneath the bedside table. The breakfast was mediocre and food items were not replenished. The staff was indifferent. The gardeners started loudly working at 7 am, which woke us up.

Staff was great. Room was great. Continental breakfast was horrible! But I stayed there twice, and would definitely stay again. I would just make other plans for breakfast.

The hotel needs some TLC. The breakfast was ok, the waffle machine was malfunctioning. The laundry room had 1 washer and 1 dryer, we ended up visiting a nearby laundromat.

Had a very nice room and friendly staff. Breakfast was much more than expected, was very good as well.

Place is nice but can definitely use some updating. Breakfast is really good.
