Breakfast was across the street and down the road and the hot tub was at another hotel cause their hot tub was broken for the last year. If I knew the hot tub and breakfast was somewhere else i wouldnt have come here. The hallways smelled like pot. They never supplied toilet paper or new towels on our 8 night stay and the elevator was broken in the garage. Dont seem like anything worked at that hotel.

Hot tub out of order for entire stay. Construction hammering and drilling noise started 8:15am. Parking situation too far away to be conscionable. Lovely beach access. Free breakfast was akin to school cafeteria in a dark cafe across the street. If I could imagine it would be this I’d have cancelled before arrival. :/

This was a wonderful trip for me and my kids. The hotel was conveniently located both to the beach and other amenities. There were multiple outdoor pools, including one with a lazy river and we were steps from the beach. There was a complimentary breakfast buffet at a real restaurant located less than a block away. It was helpful to have that taken care of with a large family. The room was attractive, comfortable, and came with a kitchenette. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was truly impressed with this resort and will choose it again when coming back to Myrtle Beach.

Its bad enough you have to park so far away from the hotel, but when we went to park there was no parking spaces open. Its hard to turn an SUV around in a parking deck. Once able to get a spot my husband who had just had surgery was unable to use the elevator to go down from the fourth floor but the elevator wasnt working and no one at the front desk said anything about that at check in

Overall not bad for the price point, parking off-site is a huge downfall for us, especially with the lack of luggage carts available. Opted to pay for parking that was literally next to the building for the day to have ease of moving items from our vehicle to go to the beach. Also opted to pay the few dollars to park when loading our vehicle up to check out due to the luggage cart shortage. If it's raining you have to walk a block to get to your vehicle at the parking garage. Employees were nice. Pool was semi clean, covered pools not so much. The covered pool had a nasty film/goo on it that was so obvious we wouldn't get in. The ice cream vendor at the pool was a huge success/plus for us as it's all dairy free and our daughter had a dairy allergy, and the ices were amazing overall. Rooms are not at all sound proof, you can hear everything from the room in the hall and through the walls, so be cautious what you say/do. Overall would probably stay here again knowing what to expect..

A/C in the bedroom was not working properly, hot was hot and humid in the room (felt better outside), no Tv channels only the dvd rental, elevator in the parking deck didn’t work, carrying things up and down 4-6 flights of stairs sucked!

Parking felt safe. However, parking elevator did not work Saturday. Which was hard for older person with health issue climbing 4 fights of stairs a few times that day.

The room was dirty. The sliding door did not lock. They use numbered keypads with nine digits, so it’s not a quick entry into your hotel. Also discovered that putting in a few of the digits into the keypad the door would open.

unsupervised children. stained outdoor lounge chairs. the scent of pot was evident every day. the room floors are filthy. don’t go barefoot they will be black. hot tub is closed. the breakfast was typical free breakfast. the employees were nice and the beach view was excellent.

Our family stayed at this hotel for our family trip. Upon arrival I was greeted by friendly staff. The room upon appearance seemed cleaned and comfy. Our room included 2 Queen sized bed. The small refrigerator and counter top stove came in handy. Our TV came on but it didn’t pick up any channels other than the guide channel. I later discovered a baby roach mashed on the wall in the bathroom. When we woke up the next morning there was a roach in the refrigerator. Since we were checking out the next day I didn’t make a fuss out of it. I didn’t see anymore during our stay. I stayed in room 103 which was very close to the pool. Had there not been roaches in my room the stay would have been great. We received free breakfast passes to eat at the restaurant across the street. The restaurant was really good and had friendly staff as well. Some (not all) of my family also experienced roaches in their room along with ants. Although the front desk staff during the day was nice I won’t be booking with this hotel again. Although the hotel appeared clean and it’s right on the beach, they need to have their room deep cleaned and exterminated for insects before I would even consider staying here again.

The stay was very pleasant. We especially enjoyed the outdoor covered hot tub and walking on the beach from our first floor room whenever we wanted. Our room was spacious, clean, and accommodating for 3 people. The breakfast was amazing every day. We loved it. Thank you.

The floor in the room was sandy and sticky. The bathroom had kinky hair all over the floor and also grimy. The door to the bathroom was broken and would not lock. The closet door was hanging by one end and could not be used, The wall outlet beside the TV was very loose and would cut power to everything if touched. The TV, microwave oven, refrigerator and coffee machine were all plugged into this same outlet. Fire hazard! For the price I paid, I expected a lot more from this stay. No Military Veterans discount offered, another reason I will not stay here again. Very dissatisfied!

The Carolinian Beach resort staff was amazing but the condo itself was disgusting. When we first arrived in our room there was a very strong smell of mildew I then found mildew in all of our vents and lamp shades. The housekeeping and maintenance came up and clean our vents but the smell remained. When walking on the floors your socks and feet were black. There need to be some serious updates the this condo for it to be stayed in again by my family. But the resort I would definitely stay again just not this room.

Our room was clean, we had a beautiful view from the balcony, the pools could have been more clean, it was noisy at night, lots of children in the pools and hallways, we got a really good deal so we got what we paid for.

The tenant was very informative and kept us updated on any changes that may be happening with our room. The room was nice, clean, but we felt it wasn’t exactly as advertised was smaller than we expected. All in all we had a wonderful trip and no issues with our stay.

We chose the Carolinian for our family vacation this year. It was on the 20th floor and it was decent. First night after 6hr drive we found the bed was broken. I reported it and they fixed it the next day which was very nice. There is no house keeping for 5 days stay. (Extra charge) They provide enough towels and toiletries but no trash service and only 1 trash bag. I had to take out the trash out everyday just like we do on our daily lives. Not a big deal. The condo had washer and dryer and comfortable rooms bathrooms were clean mattresses were comfortable. View was amazing!!! Kitchen was clean no bugs and all the utensils to use was a plus since we love to cook. Regular coffee maker no k-cup style maker. All flatscreen tv were nice to have since we love tv at night. The only down side of all this was the parking lot is a block away which is inconvenient and not having at least 1 room service for a 5 night stay. Other than that it was decent stay. It could be better.

We had to stand in the rain for an hour after checkin time. When we asked at 430 if our room was ready the staff was very hostile. Our room had been moderately cleaned and the bathroom door stuck because it looks like it was forced open. We called Expedia for assistance after we finally got checked in and were told they would need to file a complaint at the openly hostile hotel we were in. Go to another hotel if possible.

We had an amazing time here. The staff is very friendly and are there 24/7 for assistance. The room was everything you could imagine. It’s nice to have a parking garage that is secure and able to also walk to locations. Will highly recommend and stay again.

The front desk was so so. They would say one thing then it wouldn’t happen. We tried for an early check in but the room wasn’t ready. She had us fill out the paperwork and said she’d call us when the room was ready. This was around 1 and check in was 4. We never got a call. Went back at 4 and she acted like we never even spoke. Then we needed a plunger and she said she’d send someone right up and 3 hours later I went to the front desk and she said no one called her. Overall the property was nice the room was excellent the view was beautiful. Breakfast was really good and only a short walk away. The elevators did break down for a short while and we were on the 19th floor so that was a little inconvenience but they were up and running quickly. I’d stay there again.

We had the very best time here! Rooms were very clean! Pool was fantastic! . Staff was friendly and helpful. Floyd at the front desk was great! Funny and helpful! So close to beach! Parking was a bit of a pain but worth it. Would definitely stay here again!

Within walking distance from the event we were attending. Had issues with the air conditioning in our room and wihthin 5 minutes of reporting this to the front desk a gentleman was in our room and within 30 minutes the air conditioner was completely replaced. Excellent response to our problem.

Normally we stay at a different hotel, but decided to change it up. We stayed here for 5 days and it was really nice. The room was missing the dust pan for the broom other than that it was nice. Beds were comfy! It’s mostly quiet. It’s just not a great walk to the boardwalk or family activities.

This hotel was underwhelming. My sister and I are on a road trip in the South and this was our “splurge” hotel. We spent more on this hotel than any of the others in TN, SC, and NC, and this was unfortunately the worst. Pros: it was right on the beach, which was a super convenient spot! The balcony overlooking the ocean was beautiful. The pools were clean and not too busy. The room had a fully equipped kitchenette, which was nice to have. Cons: parking was a little confusing - the lot is about a block away and the welcome email made it seem more confusing than it needed to be. The room and finishings in the hotel were very dated. The staff was helpful, but did not have that same level of customer service that we’ve seen from the other hotels on our trip. They were there to do their job, but did not go over and above. The breakfast was free at a restaurant across the street, but it was really bad and we did not take advantage of it after the second day. There was nothing horrible about this place, but nothing really stellar either. Like I said, I was underwhelmed and I expected something else. If I had gone in knowing what to expect, I would have probably had a higher opinion.

Good location with easy access to the beach. Rooms have been updated and lobby and pool areas were nice. Parking and breakfast were off site and a little walk which is fine unless there is bad weather.

This hotel smells good and is clean. I have had two different stays. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great oceanfront views from the balcony. It provides breakfast passes for each guess per day. The restaurant is just steps away and the breakfast is buffet however the public doesn’t fix their own plate which is a plus( more sanitary). They also provide a privilege card which gives discounts at various restaurants and attractions. It’s convenient to broadway at the beach, top golf, and many great restaurants. I would recommend this hotel. Also parking garage is a block over but honestly not a huge inconvenience.

My stay couldnt have went better.When I got there check in was quick efficient,clerk was very helpful explaining things such as where to go to get to room,where parking garage was.She covered everything thouroughly.Also the complimentary brakfast was a great touch at great restaraunt just down from location 1 block.I highly recommend
