Grande Cayman Resort

La chambre n’était vraiment pas propre !! Très décevant sur ce point là !! La salle de bain avait le toilette collé à la douche, cela laissait donc très peu de place. La porte de la chambre a manqué de tomber quand mon fils l’a fermée. Mais nous avions une jolie vue sur la mer et c’était assez calme.

No issues. Everything went as expected. There was an issue by the pools, where people were throwing items off the balcony and holding bottles over the edge, but staff (security I believe) worked to address it. Members of our group staying on the other side of the hotel complained of loud college students and fireworks late at night while trying to sleep with younger kids, but we could not hear it where we were.

The rooms are very dirty and in poor maintenance condition. Peeling paint, water damage on ceilings, dirty/gritty feeling floors, stained linens on beds, bugs around the room, broken murphy bed with screws sticking out of the headboard, etc. Worst part was the smell of weed throughout the entire building. I know this is hard for them to stop, but it’s more about the “culture” of the people that are guests there. It was overwhelmingly urban which carried the weed aromas throughout every inch of the resort as well as the massive amounts of loud music and loud unruly kids everywhere throughout the night. Between the smells & noises from them it made it very difficult to sleep.
