The parking garage is very small and tight. The elevators are shaky, we got stuck once and then 2 were shut down for our entire trip. The rooms is moldy BUT for a pet friendly hotel, the access to the beach it was a good stay. It wasn’t bad just average.

Reasonable price. Clean. Kitchen was well stocked. DJ at pool was a nice touch. Unit had a Queen Pull Out Sofa Bed that had a mattress that was awfully thin, requested extra comforters & stacked those on top to make it bearable. Elevators were slow, hot & completely broken down daily. Toilet leaked & ran the entire stay. Fire alarm went off at 5:30 & 6:30am due to a glitch in the system. Had to evacuate from 14 floors. Activities only happened during the week - no weekend activities other than pool DJ. Door codes were 10 digits long - awfully long number to remember so we had to take our phone everywhere so we could look at the number! If you got it wrong it would lock out & have to be reset at 3x.

Room was clean and balcony was nice. Elevators are not air conditioned which was a bit rough when outside temps were 100° and going up in humid box. Rooms had AC and that was nice. Our room had kitchen which was really nice to have the big fridge and freezer. It was a nice stay and being right on the beach was a huge plus. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

The check in and check out process was incredibly easy. The pools and hot tubs were great. Room was nice and clean. It was mostly quiet, except for the second afternoon when people down the hall were arguing in the hallway. The biggest downside was the elevators and lack or luggage carts. The side where we stayed only had two of the three elevators working. It took over 45 minutes to get downstairs when we were trying to pack up and leave. The elevator only opened 5 times in that span, so it wasn’t like we kept seeing packed cars. We weren’t seeing the doors open that much. I understand that it would be hard to add more elevators, but the broken one should have been fixed before the spring/summer travel season started.

Furniture was out of date and scratched up. TV was for some reason set up through a Roku. Bedroom air conditioner sounder like a semi when it kicked on all night. Staff was friendly but lazy river was not operational.

We came for a quick 1 night visit and had a amazing time. The room was nice and clean; perfect size for my party. Having a decent restaurant, pool bar and lunch served made it super convenient. We parked and never had to leave. The amenities were amazing. We loved having many options for swimming. All the pools were heated (indoor and out) which made it so nice this time of year when most places are too cold to swim. The outdoor pool was a little chilly, but doable in the sun. Having several hot tubs was really nice since they tend to get overcrowded. We loved having the DJ at the pool during the day. We were impressed overall and can't wait to come back.

There were roaches in my first room. After requesting a different room I had to go through multiple people before getting a new room. That room HAS had roaches. Not "palmetto bugs". German cockroaches. Absolutely disgusting.

It’s needs a really bad upgrade, the curtains have mold and the I feel smell like mold and it stick. My family and I always stay here when we come to Myrtle bc of all the pools, but if I ever go back I will not be staying here.

The ceiling in the room was peeling and falling apart. There was mold all around the door frames. The stand up lamp was broken and leaning sideways onto the wall. Overall not being taken care of at all! I would send pictures if this would allow me to post them.

We were very disappointed in the condition of the room. The bathtub did not drain - and there was no drain stopper. The water pressure was so poor it took 10 minutes to rinse your hair. There was no drain stopper in the sink either. There were no electrical plugs available to plug in phone chargers. The passageway immediately outside the room was dirty and stained. The hottubs had mold and broken tiles. Several of the chairs poolside had mold. Trash cans were overflowing. The property has so much potential and is in a great location. It is just not well cared for or clean.

Every where we walk inside the hotel stink like filthy dog, room has cockroach, dirty sheets with sand, and refrigerator with fishy smell. The worst place I ever stayed. Definitely not the place to spend your birthday neither your money.

PLEASE get something else!!! So regret this!!!! I should have read reviews first!! Rooms are dirty, sheets are old, everything is dusty, floors are sticky!! Had to ask someone to wash floors and even after that the napkin was very dirty!! The floors need to be mopped and mopped and mopped and more mopped and mopped again with clean water!!!!!! I had to mop the floors with a wet towel and a broom. Also there was a ROACH on the ceiling as we were heading to sleep!! I don’t even want to close my eyes for the night!! I am disgusted!! Go get something better!! The only positive I could say is the staff was friendly.

The room was okay nothing spectacular. The room felt damp the whole time. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were not the best. They were knotty which made them feel a little rough on the skin. The view was fabulous!!! The pool areas were nice lots to choose from. But the small pool and hot tubs had ALOT of sand in them. Which I do understand but still looks nasty. The restaurant on the 2nd floor. OMG it was one of those one and done type places. To expensive for the amount of food you get. The place was sold out and it is a dog friendly hotel but it was quiet and everyone was so nice. The front desk ladies were so nice and helpful. I would stay agin.

The room was clean. The balcony faced the ocean as advertised, but there was yet another balcony in front of it with a drain and two pipes that ran from the corners to the drain in the middle. You could see the ocean, but you had to look at the balcony with the drain at the same time. We accidentally left some hang up clothes in the room. I contacted Vacasa in an attempt to reclaim my clothes. They said they would contact a local representative and check with them. I checked again a few days later. Still no word.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Patricia grand at Myrtle Beach. The room was in good shape and we had a wonderful stay. The bed on the other hand was kind of hard. That’s why I did not give a five star rating. Other than that. We had a wonderful time and a wonderful stay at the Patricia grand

Check in process was simple and quick. Upon entering the room we noticed the balcony door lock was missing the locking mechanism. The telephone did not work. The bathroom sink had a crack in it. Main door has a fake lock that is only there for looks. The bed was the worst bed we've ever slept in. It has more waves in it than the ocean. Seriously, there were no comfortable spots to lay on. The mattress needs to be changed asap! The room was very clean! Shower pressure was good.

Using the 10 digit code they give is terrible. Why not use vacationer phone # instead. The code was ridiculous and didn’t always work. The room was old...musty smelling....paint peeling.....ceiling needed repairs.

It was a nice condo overall. The sofa bed was broken. It was hard to open and was rubbing the frame when it was pulled out. It also sagged on the couch side and our daughter had to sleep with her head at the foot so that she wouldn't be inverted. The view was nice, the indoor pool was also nice.

Fairly average stay, the cover over the heating/air unit kept falling off and the popcorn on the ceiling was falling down also. Nothing to brag about but also no major complaints.

The bed was comfortable and they provided a lot of towels. Nice kitchen with all the items needed to cook. Shower water pressure was extremely low! Showers were not pleasant. There were no shower bars or hooks to hang towels. All in all stay was good enough.

We had a plumbing problem. We called the front desk and was informed that there is no maintenance available until 9am. Maintenance did come and fix the toilet. I asked front desk when housekeeping would arrive and was told that there is no daily cleaning. The room will not be cleaned until we check out. I stated but the bathroom needs cleaned because the toilet was clogged and the bathroom smells. The front desk staff stated that there's no cleaning until we check out. I stated can I get cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom he stated that they do not supply cleaning supplies but I can come down and get clean towels, trash bags, paper towels and toilet tissue.

We initially were very pleased with the accommodations, but on our second day at the hotel, someone gained entry to our room and stole my wife's laptop and charger. It was out on the desk and was charging. Funny thing, her pocket book was on the desk too, but didn't appear to be touched. The people at the front desk were less than helpful and rude. They said they had no security cameras on the halls for privacy reasons, and no one at the hotel had access to the rooms until after guests check out, when the door codes are erased and housekeeping can enter to clean for the next guests. They implied that maybe she had too much to drink and only thought she had her laptop, and then told her to file a police report. I know she had her laptop and even had to move the desk so that the charger could reach the wall outlet. The safe in the room was also broken and would not close. Sadly, the hotel is in a great location and priced pretty well, but this whole ordeal tarnished our perception of the Patricia Grand. We hoped we wouldn't have any other issues, because they don't seem to care for the needs of their patrons. The rest of our stay was very good. Great friends, great food, and great times. But we will not stay at this establishment again for safety concerns.

We enjoyed for the most part. Bar staff was fun and a joy to meet! Heaven, Debbie, Natalia and the others were wonderful. Check in and front desk need some help on making people welcome and clear instructions. You NEED someone helping to enforce the no smoking/vaping. I can’t tell you how sicking the smell of weed was at pool, on balcony and in elevator. Everyone has the right to enjoy, but so do we! In front of kids and families. Awful! Need to remember your policy on that. The grounds were nice, rooms clean, not any place to sit other than the bed or table chairs. Need a couch or something.

My room was not clean upon arrival and had some maintenance issues that needed to be addressed. It took 6 phone calls to the front desk, many chats with the Vacasa app, and 16 hours for the issues to be addressed. I don’t know that I would consider staying here again.

Check out is 10 not 11 not use to that and house keeping isn’t every day only when done with stay so we had to keep getting towels but over all great stay ! I don’t like that out side pool is shade due to other building blocking sun I swim for sun so for that reason only I won’t book again ! Other wise great hotel

Where do I start!? Front desk staff was rude. All of them. 4 people in my party but only offered two pool cards for towels. If I have 4 people in my room I need 4 towel cards. Every time my other two guests needed towels it was a giant inconvenience for them to do their job. Second I watched a girl about 10 years old get hit and her hair pulled by her gpa. When myself and other guests said something the desk lady blew it off and said since I didn’t know them he was “probably playing” this girl was crying and it was absolutely abuse. The man ended up being arrested so apparently the cops agreed with what I knew I saw. The very last day we were there in the room we experienced a ROACH crawling up the wall. They also played this down saying it was a palmetto bug. It was absolutely not. I killed it and showed them and he still tried to tell me it wasn’t a roach. Also I was upset I wasn’t offered late check out specifically bcuz my booking was thru a 3rd party. There are better places to stay. Avoid this place!

Room was clean and balcony was nice. Elevators are not air conditioned which was a bit rough when outside temps were 100° and going up in humid box. Rooms had AC and that was nice. Our room had kitchen which was really nice to have the big fridge and freezer. It was a nice stay and being right on the beach was a huge plus. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

Just completed a stay at Patricia Grand. Overall, place is OK, but we wouldn’t stay there again. Pros: in good area if like to be close to eateries or mini golf, indoor & outdoor pools, right on beach, parking garage across street, studio apt comfortable & roomy, balcony has view of beach. Restaurant is very good. Cafe in lobby. Adequate utensils, etc..in kitchenette, full size fridge. Cons: outlet behind chair was loose, bedside lamp not working, safe was in locked open position, door number lock was finicky, ac not very strong, shower nozzle coming out of wall (when maintenance was notified by front desk, they came quickly to repair everything but loose outlet behind chair), noisy, smell of smoke when out on balcony - not sure if this was from our hotel or one right next door, shower spray very light, no conditioner in bottle on wall, front desk variable- some very nice, some indifferent. Had to strip bed before leaving, no housekeeper during our stay but front desk said to contact them if need items. Can be noisy.

I loved the location to downtown activities. The boardwalk is about a mile away and it was an easy walk for me but if you wanted to Uber they were cheap because it’s only a mile. I will be going back to the Patricia for sure!!! I recommend for sure. The views of ocean were great and beach access was a quick trip even from the 18th floor that I was on.

Resort was fantastic! The room had a wonderful view of the ocean and the room was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were walking distance from many restaurants, which was helpful. Only issue we had was that the parking garage was very difficult to navigate.

Room and bathroom was clean. Smells good. Disappointed that restaurant/bar was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Had to go to the hotel nextdoor to get a mixed drink.

The room was okay nothing spectacular. The room felt damp the whole time. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were not the best. They were knotty which made them feel a little rough on the skin. The view was fabulous!!! The pool areas were nice lots to choose from. But the small pool and hot tubs had ALOT of sand in them. Which I do understand but still looks nasty. The restaurant on the 2nd floor. OMG it was one of those one and done type places. To expensive for the amount of food you get. The place was sold out and it is a dog friendly hotel but it was quiet and everyone was so nice. The front desk ladies were so nice and helpful. I would stay agin.

I am a repeat visitor, I come just about every year to this property. The overall property have withstood the test of time but some of the rooms can use a little upgrade hopefully coming in the future. A special thank you goes to Heaven, she really made me feel very welcome as my bartender at the Indigo restaurant I enjoyed my meal and conversation.

Check in fast and easy, room was nice. Lots of pizza flyers we received 😁 great location for what we were there for. Wouldn’t eat at the Indigo Hotel restaurant. But would stay here again.

We were so pleased with our stay. The room was cozy. The onsite restaurant was fabulous. We only ate there because we had our pet. We had breakfast and supper every day. Food was great! Only thing we didn’t like was the area for the dogs to do their business. Some people don’t clean up like they are supposed to. Very disappointed!!

Fun place for families or couples! We went for our anniversary, but would love to go back one day with our kids. Right on the beach, plenty of pool and hot tub options... I'm pretty sure literally every single room has a decent view of the ocean because of the way the rooms are laid out. No free breakfast, and the price of the breakfast buffet was outrageous for what you got (and not very good), so I'd suggest making other plans there. Full stove, fridge, microwave in the rooms make it easy to do that if you plan accordingly though, so that's not a big deal. There are also several places to eat nearby (Dunkin, Starbucks, Mcdonald's, pancake places, etc.) There is a Starbucks inside the hotel which is convenient. Poolside bar is great for a quick and easy lunch option if you don't want to leave. They had a very entertaining DJ outside on the weekends, and DVD rental machines that allowed unlimited free rentals (one at a time), so no shortage of amusement regardless of weather! Towels for the pool were not easily accessible and kind of a pain. You have to "check them out" at the front desk, and give them your room number upon turning them back in to avoid being charged. Not the end of the world, but not convenient. Overall a really fun stay. Looking forward to going back one day!

We came for a quick 1 night visit and had a amazing time. The room was nice and clean; perfect size for my party. Having a decent restaurant, pool bar and lunch served made it super convenient. We parked and never had to leave. The amenities were amazing. We loved having many options for swimming. All the pools were heated (indoor and out) which made it so nice this time of year when most places are too cold to swim. The outdoor pool was a little chilly, but doable in the sun. Check-in was kind of a mess. Our room was not ready at 4 PM. This was quite inconvenient. The property is dated and not always the cleanest. There were times when there was trash in some of the common areas. You could tell that the property is dated and they use hasty paint jobs to try to refresh it. All of that being said, this seemed like a decent deal. The location is right on the beach. There is a great beachfront pool with a large pool deck. Beach views are somewhat obscured by the sand fence. There is easy access to the beach and a shower to rinse off sand. There is another pool behind the beachfront pool that is under the hotel. I’d imagine this is great as an indoor pool in the cooler seasons. There is a small lazy river. There are four hot tubs. I never saw all of them full at the same time. Parking is included, breakfast is not. The view from my room was great except I could not see the sunrise. I guess it was a bad angle for the time of year. Overall we were satisfied.

I really enjoyed myself during this getaway. It was a last minute booking at Patricia Grande and they were very accommodating and welcoming. The room selected was spacious, very clean, and oceanfront. I recommend Patricia Grande for great service, cleanliness, and location. We were able to walk to a seafood restaurant which was only a block away.
