Pool was dirty. Ice machine on 2nd floor was broken. No elevator.

NO ELEVATOR!!!!! I don't think that I have been to hotel without an elevator in 30yrs. Other than that, the hotel was clean, quite and good location (easy in & out). It is an older hotel but it is well maintained.

Property was obviously old. Popcorn ceilings, musty smell and old noisy, uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. Terrible nights' sleep, both nights. The only positive was easy parking.

No elevator on property. Also my first room smelled like cigarette smoke, even though the hotel is non-smoking. They gave us another room.

Bed ruffle was OBVIOUSLY stained from recent "activity". Door key wouldn't open outside door. Pool was gooey on the bottom. Room smelled horrible. But staff was friendly

Good value, lots of dining options. The only downside was there was no elevator.

The location was great. We checked in late and was seen right away, received our keys very quick with no issues. However in room 229 my bathroom wasn't clean. Luckily I packed my own cleaning products because there was long black hair allover the toilet, old ramen crumbs on the sink and then the shower didn't shut off meaning there wasn't an option to run water in the tub if I wanted. Once the water was turned on it was shower only and the head needs changing because one setting has water spraying out and on to the floor. Otherwise its a nice hotel, and if you have walking problems ask to stay on the 1st floor because there's no elevator, and the stairs aren't level you're going to feel like you're falling going and coming.

Does not look like it was cleaned in a long time. Carpets are covered in stains. I woke up in the middle of the night with a cockroach on the bed. Not worth the money by a long shot.

Most of the room was clean, except the tub. The bottom of the tub was covered in a layer scum and hair. It did not appear to have been cleaned in some time. The toilet also would not flush properly.

Bathroom was dirty, mold. Tub was very slippery we asked for a bath mat but never got one. Refrigerator hummed. My bedsheet had a blood spot on it.

Not much positive to say. Requested different room on check in as we found the room open and bath towel on bed - used - and bed looked like one of staff took a nap. A bit dilapidated and not very clean. Overpriced for the metro area

The front desk staff was amazing! The first room I stayed in was 119 and it was infested with roaches and had spiders. Next I was moved to room 110 and the floor was soaked with water from the air conditioning unit and it had aunts coming out of the unit. After I moved from that room I went to room 106 and it was fairly clean, had one bed and the toilet was very loud after being flushed. All of this took place around 7/8 pm and I had two sleepy children with me. I took pictures and videos of all the bugs and the condition of the room and showed them to the front desk attendant. The next day the housekeepers even told me that room 119 was infested and the room was nasty. If the hotel staff knew this why even put me and my children in this room? I requested a refund through Expedia and they informed me that they could not get in contact with the manager from the hotel so I would not be able to get a refund. This is ridiculous that I had to go through this with my two children and can not even get some of my money back. Expedia did not advocate for me enough and they should question their partnership with this hotel if they can not maintain clean rooms. I understand things happen but the hotel and Expedia should take accountability and refund my money for this awful experience at this hotel.

Love me some Robert. He’s pretty much the reason I always stay at this particular hotel. Room 114 was excellent. No rattling HVAC, clean room, nice water pressure. I’ll ask for this room again.

Noisy AC and door wouldn’t latch.

Room needed maintenance. Stopper on sink didn't work. Shower head was spraying everywhere. Towlet seat was loose. Terrible traffis noise. Contenital breakfast was less than desirable.

The staff was really nice. The property is older, but clean and very affordable for quick stay. It is right off I-26 and convenient for food, shopping and activities in the Charleston area.

The bed was very old, uncomfortable, and itchy. The AC unit squealed to a stop every time it cycled off.

Checked into my first room and there was a yellow stain on the comforter, a broken nail and some food near the post of the bed, and spots on the couch. The front desk person upgraded me to a king room which was better and cleaner, though the desk chair was torn and the couch also was slightly dirty. Really nice staff and the location isn't bad. The furniture in the rooms really need to be upgraded and the cleaning has to improve.

The smell of smoke in my room was extremely strong. I didn't check in until very late or else would have asked for a room change.

The property is in a good location with easy access to Walmart, Crackerbarrel and many fast food outlets. The negative is that there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom and the windows don't open to allow any fresh air in the room.

The reception and lobby were fine. The room air conditioner was loud, and the bed was not comfortable.

Bathroom and power outlets need work. Sink faucet broken, toilet paper holder broken, handicap rail broken in tub. Outlet stopped working and needed for a CPap.

We went to check in and we were met with a smile and told us about events happening that was going on in town and room Stewarants were very helpful and rooms were very comfortable and well kept

The place was very clean and staff was friendly. Robert Pineda who greets you with a smile at the front desk was an exceptional host. Anything my husband and I asked about the hotel or area was answered with a warm kind smile. In today’s world you can’t always find that.

Beware, Bedbugs and filth! We stayed at this hotel on January 4th 2024. We booked this online as it had good reviews, we live hours away from this area. I cannot see how anyone could rate this hotel anything other than HORRIBLE! Upon arriving in the room, we found it appearing mostly clean, but a bit dingy. The bathroom mirror was loose, neither of the stoppers in either sink function, and the bathroom sink had a clog. That was what was apparent immediately, however the horrors that followed were much worse. We went to bed, my wife and I on one bed, and our special needs (Autism) son on the other bed. The next morning, we checked out then a couple hours later noticed red dots on our son’s neck, upon further investigation, he had them all over his entire body. These were bites from bed bugs. Evidently the mattress has not been changed like they are supposed to and was completely infested. Our son cannot communicate with us to tell us, we had to find this out on our own. We called the hotel, and they were aggressive and extremely rude, using profanity, and not taking any responsibility for the condition of their hotel. We stated that the hotel was ghetto, they responded with “well you stayed here, what does that say about you? This was one of the worst experiences we have ever encountered, and the way they responded to our complaints was extremely unprofessional and completely ridiculous. Do not stay at this hotel, ignore any good reviews

Friendly and helpful staff, called to check on us when we had to leave a day early due to family emergency .

The most damaging part of this review lies with the desk clerk who checked us in. She was not only rude and obnoxious but also borderline confrontational. I have never experienced anyone like that in my entire life at a position of such importantance for a hotel. Totally unacceptable and you can bet I will never stay here again.

We were traveling from Georgia for an church anniversary service and stayed at Quality Inn, Robert the check in person was very nice and made sure we had what we needed. When we checked out we had the same man, Robert, he was very nice and friendly. When we come again to Summerville we would more likely stay here again.

Very nice stay. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

The good…convenient to shopping. The bad…the bathroom sink remained clogged even after reporting it to the front desk…and the desk attendant at the time said “well, I’ll note it but I only work here one day a week. so what he was really saying is, I’ve had very little training and I’m so ignorant I don’t know how to report anything anywhere. Next, the air conditioning system was so loud. I got no sleep… Also reported to the front desk, same answer. Next, the air pressure in the valves for the shower would bank so loud it would shake everything. Next, the breakfast SUCKS! If you are 200 pounds overweight and wish to remain so, this is your haven, carbs only, little or no protein! And finally, if you choose to stay on the upper floor to avoid people walking over your head, be prepared to slip your own bags, there are no elevators! Bottom line, I’m trying to think of a worst night day… Can’t think of one off the top of my head!

Had a leak in my room and was upgraded without having to ask to be moved. Staff was super nice and very helpful.

I booked two rooms. I had to cancel one of them but i didn't realize there was no refund. Free breakfast was lowsy. They didn't have bagels, toast, or eggs. Only waffles, dry cereal, yogurt and lowsy tasting mini sausage buscuits. The juice fountain only had orange and apple juice which tasted awful. The front desk clerk was very friendly and nice to talk with but I won't stay here again.

I do not feel the "very good" or 8 rating is accurate. Was looking forward for more than what we got... The hotel does not have an elevator, so it was difficult for people with mobility issues. The building entrance and hallways were extremely warm, which I know its the south, but they also had the doors propped open so it was very uncomfortable. Even the next morning at breakfast with the front doors shut, it was still uncomfortable. The rooms were ok, the beds were comfy and the pillows were oddly small but comfy, but our bathroom was not as good. Wallpaper peeling, splatters of stuff on the walls, dirt built up in the corners and soap/hair caked on in the tub. My childrens feet were dirty from walking on the room floor. The breakfast was subpar as well. Packaged Muffins, yogurt, microwavable sausage biscuit things, packets of oatmeal and waffles. The kids liked the waffles

It was convenient to places we wanted to go. Clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast had basic needs but not as many choices as some places.

Hotel and room were well maintained and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was more limited than I am accustomed to with similar hotels. Ended up not eating in the hotel.

Tub was lopsided and the faucet made loud squeak when turning off. Breakfast was NOT sufficient, no bread option for toast, same muffins daily and wished maybe boiled eggs could be offered.
