Knights Inn Point South Yemassee

For the price of $53 a night the room was clean. The room was cold The bed was really comfortable. I would stay there again, passing back through.

Everything in our room was dirty. As soon as you opened the door you could smell the mold. When you went into the bathroom you could see the mold. The toilet wasn’t mounted to the floor so it moved a lot. The grab bar in the shower was missing and so was the toilet paper holder. Then we moved the night stand to plug our phones in and there was a dirty sock and underwear behind it. If it wasn’t so late when we arrived we would have went somewhere else. We will not be returning to this hotel again.

German roach crawled across the lobby floor as I was checking in. Surprisingly there were no roaches seen in the room but the ceiling was flaking and falling everywhere. The chairs in the room were filthy and belonged outside next to the dumpster. They put coffee cups abd plastic cups in the room but there is no coffee maker. The morning of check out I walked the bags to the car and turned around to walk back in the room and my room key didn’t work. My toddler was screaming and couldn’t open the door * had to go to the office, which was closed, and ring a bell for service. The man was quick to help but this should not have even been an issue I had to deal with at 7am! Top floor is rotting out and the plywood looks very dangerous to walk across but I didn’t fall. Someone will though. The pool had weeds growing up several feet past the top of the pool rim and no water on site. Location is about a half a mile off the road and round a couple dark corners so it looks questionable driving up to it at night but the lighting outside saved you from feeling like you just entered a horror film. There are a few cameras up and typical trash and butts littered among the staircases. Idk if the advertised ice machine worked because there was no ice bucket in the room but who knows. It’s cheaper to book online than to book at the counter

The staff work the room was fairly clean. The air conditioning was very loud, and I had cockroaches in my room.
