Returned from a long day to find that the hot water was broken, with no warning from the front desk staff or emails sent to inform us. When we woke up to leave the third floor there was no elevator. Myself and my elderly mother had to carry our stuff down three flights of stairs. The service had the optimistic vibe that they cared, but no manager reached out to refund us, or make any accommodation to rectify the issues. Drains are slow to drain, mold above the showers, and stink bugs in all the corners of the public spaces. I would avoid.

We arrived very late, just an overnight stop on a family road trip. Check in was very quick and easy; the lady at the front desk was very nice. The room is clean, beds are comfortable. It’s more than adequate for a quick overnight stay. I would stay here again. Access right off and on HWY 40 is super convenient.

| Family Waiting to check in an no one at front desk been waiting for 30 minutes Rebecca finally came to us and checked us in telling us reasons for not being at front desk is that (shes head of house keeping, an also she's does the maintenance,, and she stated she does payroll).my wife an myself where ready to leave this hotel, but we decided to stay we met an amazing person. Sonya helped us out due to a bad experience with one of there workers ( Rebecca ).. also met another coworker the general manager,explained the issue that happened this young man was very helpful

Went for my one year wedding anniversary. Needed a break between working full-time , being a full-time student, & having a newborn, we needed a break, but they turned our vacation into a nightmare! They’ll allow employees that are off shift enter into your room without permission when you leave. One of the workers told me I would like I’m high - which I don’t do. They’re rude asl. Sonja was super nice though. I’ll be reaching out to a lawyer for being racially profiled.

Disappointing that the pool was not operational and this information was not provided before stay. Elevator was not operational. Ceiling tiles in the hotel and room shows water issue. The only redeeming value to the property was how pleasant and helpful the staff members were. The owner is lucky to have them but needs to care and stay on top of the property.

No pet policy is the reason we ALWAYS try to find a Holiday Inn Express. We travel a lot and we are very allergic to animals. Most hotels let animals in the rooms, so we refuse to stay in those places. Holiday Inn Express has cleaner and better-smelling rooms because they do not allow animals (except service animals) in their hotels. If you want a cleaner hotel, make sure you stay at Holiday Inn Express.

While I was checking in the person helping me said the other front desk attendant just gave my room to the people standing next to me. She told me she wasn’t sure she had a room for me. Then she was directed by the other front desk attendant to put me in a room on the third floor. As she handed me the room key she told me the elevator was broken. The people standing next to me were given a room on the first floor (a couple with no children), while I had to get luggage along with a 4 and 7 year old to the third floor. My front desk attendant offered to help me with luggage. She was looked to be in her late 60’s or early 70’s. So I did not ask for her help. The room I was assigned was literally right next to a construction zone where rooms were taped up with black plastic and there was no AC in the hallway. Thankfully, the room itself was cool.
