La habitacion estaba muy sucia tenia restos de galletas y dulces en la estancia, la cortina rota asi como tambien el edredon y la cocina ni se diga lo sucio . Lastima por la buena distribu ion de las dos habita iones

My room was not thoroughly cleaned. The chairs for the dinning room were severely damaged, the leather was completely peeled off of the seat. Our hot water didn't work for two of the nights of our stay. When we asked to be switched to another room we were told none were available. Which seemed false because the hotel was not packed. This hotel has gone down over the years. I've been visiting it for the past five years. But I will no longer be staying there again.

I made an online reservation for Homewood Suites Southwind - Hacks Cross and was disappointed with how the situation was handled. The hotel never contacted me before my arrival to let me know they were experiencing maintenance issues. Instead, I found out only when I arrived to check in late in the afternoon. At that point, I was told they could not accommodate me and that the Hampton Inn next door would honor my reservation. Had Homewood Suites notified me earlier, I would have appreciated the opportunity to make my own arrangements rather than being left with no practical options upon arrival. Unfortunately, the Hampton Inn was less than ideal. The room felt damp and musty, the air conditioner was very noisy, and the floor was sticky. Since this was only a one-night stay, I decided to make do rather than spend more time trying to find another hotel. I was also unable to leave a review for the Hampton Inn despite my experience there. While I understand that unexpected maintenance issues can occur, I know this was not an isolated incident because two other guests were turned away before me. The lack of communication was the most disappointing part of the experience. A simple phone call, email, or text before my arrival would have allowed me to make alternate plans and avoided a frustrating start to my stay.
