Days Inn by Wyndham Corpus Christi Beach

The parking is very limited and constrictive. The owner/ managers park both of their cars in the guest check in canopy which makes it very Inconvenient for the guests. Breakfast is cereal, yogurt, honeybun, juice and apple. Coffee none in rooms, you have to go to breakfast area to get a cup. Rather disappointed that this property is not carrying the Wyndham standards.

Property as a whole seemed neglected. Inoperative elevator was an inconvenience as our group was on the ird floor. We didn't necessarily mind the limited continental breakfast bu the coffee was very weak.

The building was old. No elevators to go up. Had to use the 3 flights of stairs to take our items up. No ice maker's on our floor either. You have to go downstairs to the office for ice.

When booking with hotels.com we advised 2 adults and 3 children. At check in we were advised the rooms only have 2 full size beds. Why they would allow a booking for 5 people, when really 4 is the appropriate number is beyond me. The elevator is permanently out of order. We were given a room on the 3rd floor. The room was very small, but fairly clean. Our kids are 6, 8 and 11. It was a very tight fit for them in a full size bed. Knowing we had 5 people checking in, our room only had 2 bath towels. They did not offer us more. On day 3 of our 4 day stay housekeeping came by and asked if we needed clean towels. We had to give our dirty towels, and were given 2 fresh bath towels. We were told the hand towels and washrags were still bring laundered and they would bring them by one they were done. They did not. We had to ask for toilet paper... because 5 people in a room and only 1 roll of toilet paper was provided. Housekeeping never made our beds or took out trash. Breakfast is a joke. Cereal and milk, yogurt, granola bars. Watered down juice. The exterior is worn, older looking and rusted. Our room had an oceanview. The pool was clean and refreshing. Would we stay here again? Probably not.

Work in progress and limited amenities. Pool worked and beach was close. Elevator was broken, limited towels, pillows, & breakfast. Facility was in much disrepair with dilapidated stairs, broken floor tiles due to unlevel building, and over 100 feet of a plant in the front lobby strung across walls and the leading ceiling.

Building is old. Elevator not working. Outside stairs need replaced or stripped and repainted. Breakfast wasn’t much of a breakfast. Juice and coffee and the coffee was not good at all.

Only rooms on the third floor with no elevator. Had to literally beg for towels for a day and a half to get clean towels. There was standing water and the mosquitos were big as flies. Limited parking available, the rooms are in need of repair. The ceiling falling down in some areas. While it was acceptable for two nights, I would not stay there again.

Hot water in shower ONLY worked when dial was at one particular spot. Next, I refused to walk on the carpet without a pair of shoes. My husband took off his shoes and i requested that he throw his socks away. Breakfast was beyond basic. Froot Loops, Corn Flakes, Activa yogurt, and apples, nothing else. Orange juice and mango juice was colored water since machine was empty. The pool was a concrete hole in the ground that was a haven for mosquitos, since it was not completely drained. Entire parking lot was filled with swarms of mosquitos. Upon arrival, I assumed it was because it was night and near the water but i was wrong. During the day, 200 times worse. And the puddles of stagnant water around the property made them even worse. Under no circumstances use the elevator. The elevator was not in use during the evening hours since it is right above the owners room. The next morning, I used the elevator, smell is obnoxious, no circulation in elevator that is partially inside and outside and you will be scared half to death. Once elevator makes it to the designated floor, nothing alerts you. Attempting to get off since air is suffocating you have to hit door open in order to get out, not knowing whether you made it to your designated floor. Stairs and balcony covered in bird feces. Outdoor hotel that looks absolutely NOTHING like picture, whatsoever. Owner is EXTREMELY unprofessional when something is brought to their attention. You will get told that no one else has complained.

This was a good place to stay for a motel, good value, friendly staff, clean room, nice well kept pool and grounds and the grounds were very well lit up. My wife and I stayed for 3 nights wth our 3 year old and enjoyed ourselves, we walked to the beach and the Lexington close by. Down side, only had coffee and cereal for breakfast, we stayed on the 3rd floor and the elevator is there but doesn't work so had to climb up and down 3 flights of stairs. I give it a 4 out of 5, again we were looking for economy not luxury.

The sheets were dirty, the microwave was dirty, the fridge didn’t get cold. The electricity was shut off for a little bit. The breakfast is just cereal and an apple. The coffee was full of coffee grounds. The orange juice they did have was watered down so it tasted like water with a hint of orange juice. The lemonade was watered down as well. The only good thing was the beach was close by and the price was cheap but most definitely not worth the stay.

Filthy, door barely shut, extremely loud, unsafe environment

On arrival to room I entered and room was dirty, blood on mattress and restroom dirty only one towel and bed was a mess like someone had was asleep on it once complained was given another room but restroom was dirty with bowel in toilet. I want my money refunded.

The pictures look good and decent but when I arrived some blankets were stained, restroom area had cracks and mold around. The floor was uneven at some spots it just wasn’t like the pictures and had to wait a while for service.

The hotel was really dirty. The service was terrible no housekeepers in the afternoon. The shower didn’t work.

The best thing I can say is that it was clean. Third floor room and no elevator. WiFi was spotty and weak. Breakfast was cereal and yogurt only.

The drawers were broken. And on the website it said that they had a refrigerator, but it was a lie and what they had was a cooler, which is not very effective like a refrigerator.

Location was far away from restaurants. Breakfast was a granola bar and a bad coffee. The floor in the room was on such a tilt the chair rolled across the room.

The hotel looks very old and weathered on the outside but to my surprise the room was nice. My beach view was just between two apartment buildings. This hotel is not on the beach. You have to walk down to the water a little ways.

My first stay there. I was a bit taken aback by the outside appearance, but being right next to salt-water you can expect some "wear" on the exterior surfaces. The landings and stairs need a good paint job as they are bare wood showing. However, the staff was very pleasant, engaging, and accomodating. Although the exterior looked a bit tired, the inside of my room as well as my family's was an 8/10! Very nice and clean except for the floor which had some grit (maybe sand blew in at some point) but was very nice surprised by the room. Beds were very comfortable and all was crisp and clean. We will stay again.

The first room was very dirty. Not vacuumed, the bathroom had shavings on the toilet and cigarette in the toilet in a non smoking room. They moved us to another room but it's very old. Tons of cracks in the ceiling, falling paint, holes in the wall. Was not happy but could not get a refund so had to stay.

Place is not how it shows in the pictures. It’s terrible and run down. Bed was very stiff and uncomfortable. Pillows were small and lumpy. No blankets to keep you warm. You would think because it has Wyndham it would be nice. Front clerk was unfriendly. No water pressure. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone to stay here. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.

It was nicely renovated on the inside, although the outside told another story… the walkways were sketchy as they leaned down and felt tilted. The pool looked nice but the weather was too cold to try it. You can hear all the neighbors stomping around in every direction.

The rooms were clean and love the new modern look they updated their rooms, bed were soft and we slept comfortable. Only thing I didn’t like that the lobby smelled funny. also didn’t like that they couldn’t give you more towels, even if you were willing to swap them out. But overall, the stay was amazing.

Front desk charged me more for a second day of stay despite it is being a Tuesday night. Next time book online and dont use the front desk.

Upon arriving, there was no one at the desk. I have to ring the bell several times before the attendant came to the desk. I obviously disturbed her nap. Upon entering the room there was a moldy salt water smell like a bathing suit was left behind unwashed. There was no Microwave, no coffee pot.The wooden stairs looked line they were ready to break away from the structure. The cleaning staff asked us if we could gather out trash tie up the bag and leave it out side and then asked us to bring our towels to them. I've never had that happen before.

The conditions of the hotel were deplorable!!! They did not inform us that a storm had hit the hotel a week prior. The elevator was not working due to water damage, the room and main lobby smelled of musty mildew. Our room was filthy and the overhead lights did not work over the vanity and sink. There was mold in the bathtub. I cancelled out stay and said I wanted a refund, was told I had to go through Expedia. Expedia called the hotel and keeps getting the run around from management and will not give me a refund. I DID NOT stay at your property so there is no reason I should not get a refund because of the awful condition of your property. Never will I stay at a Wyndham property again!!!

Bedsheets were stained and dirty both beds, I called for someone to come change them and the person who answered said everybody left home and she couldn’t get new sheets when I told her they were dirty she said they send them off to wash so then the one that put the sheets should’ve seen they were dirty. Finally she calls back for me to go them because she was working alone, and she only gave me 2 top sheets when the bottom sheets were dirty. The phone the room didn’t work either. This property needs better management a better cleaning service and a good cleaning inside and out.

The property had one housekeeper, and no daily services. Continental breakfast was cereal, yogurt, sludge for coffee, and watered-down orange juice. Guava orange juice was good. It appears they are updating an older hotel. Clean enough. Okay for what we needed. smaller rooms.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Me and my Fiancé booked this property for two nights and we loved it because of the pictures(showed 10 stories) but when we arrived it was only 3 stories. But when I checked in, apparently the Oceanside king room we booked was unavailable so they gave us a two bedroom with no ocean side. We accepted it and told him I had a service dog for my seizures and he made me pull out personal documents and took my phone and read them. I didn’t think much of it at the time but the when we got to the room, it was sketchy. We just decided it’s whatever and laid down until we saw flashing lights under the bed and suddenly our power went out. We called and told them about it and the maintenance lady came drinking and smoking and joked “y’all could’ve caught fire” and then wanted to take us to another room but instead we asked for a refund and at first they refused but when the manager came he seemed annoyed with us and finally said yes and to pack up and leave. When we got to the room to pack up, they called us saying we needed to leave already. So we did. We checked in around 7 that day and left at 10pm. We couldn’t even last a few hours there. I spend $235 for something that wasn’t worth it but got a refund and spent an additional at another hotel that was better.

Probably would have been so much better had we not been trapped by flooding. But otherwise was a good stay. Staff was extremely nice and and accommodating.

It is a short walk from this motel to Corpus Christi's North Beach; a short drive to the Texas State Aquarium and the USS Lexington. Bring bug spray; mosquitos will be a problem on the days without a strong breeze coming off the ocean.

Quaint hotel very close to North Beach, Lexington, and Aquarium, so location was definitely a plus. Outdoor pool open until 10pm. Continental breakfast included yogurt and cereal. Family had a good time here.

If you are on a tight budget but still aspire a vacation by the beach, this is a good option with trade-offs. Every decision has a trade-off and this is no different. If you are yearning for a beach-facing room, you should not mind the sad neighborhood, old building (not antique type), creaking infrastructure, mold-smelling rooms, measly breakfast options. A heads-up - if you are a family of 5, it is a "sardiney" squeeze...so don't go by 3rd party aggregators who sell the rooms as fit for 5 occupants. However if you are used to 5 people living in small 200 Sq ft tenement, you will not have a problem adjusting.....but carry your own air mattress. Even the roll-up bed offered by the hotel (i.e. if you are lucky to get one from them) won't fit for the 5th person. The plus side is - beach facing rooms, 2 minute walk to the North Beach, 2 minute drive from. USS Lexington floating Naval Aircraft Carrier museum (don't miss this at all....), 3 minute drive from Texas State Aquarium.

Hotel was decent and what you would expect from a 2.5/3 star. Loved how close it was to the beach. Overall i would stay here again in the future.

The room was great for the budget minded, but the breakfast only had two choices of dry cereal, coffee, milk and orange juice. The last 3 Days Inn we stayed at had eggs, sausage waffle makers and a variety of fruits with biscuits and gravy. That's why we decided to stick with Days Inn, never again. From now on I will call area hotels and ask what the breakfast consist of before making a decision.

Though the room was ok but there was no carpet as shown in the pics, as well the main thing we booked it was the Hot Breakfast but in the hotel its clearly written that only continantal will be there though it was also not up to mark ! No Tea or bread provided . I just want to tell that please remove this wrong infos about this hotel that it provides Hot breakfast !

They didn’t have a coffee maker in the room like it was supposed to have. They just had cereal for breakfast and that isn’t an adults breakfast.

The hotel was very old, the cleanliness could be improved, the beds were uncomfortable, and the pillows were very worn out. The worst part was the continental breakfast, which only included cereal, yogurt, and bad coffee. The worst I've ever had. I will definitely not return to this hotel ever. If you're going to Corpus, choose another hotel that's not near the beach because that area is very neglected and abandoned. El hotel estaba muy viejo , la limpieza podría mejorar , las camas eran incómodas y las almohadas muy desgastadas . Lo peor fue el desayuno continental que solo incluía cereal, yogurt y un mal café . El peor que he tenido jamás . Definitivamente no regresaré a este hotel nunca . Si van a Corpus escojan otro hotel que no esté cerca de la playa porque esa área está muy descuidada y abandonada.

For starters, pics on need to be updated. Looks nothing like that. Exterior is awful. Serious paint job needed. No bedspreads on beds. Just the old fashion blanket my grandma use to have. There was dead little bugs. People were nice enough and pool was clean. They have construction workers rent out daily so take your own pit. They take over all three plus the tables I the pool area . Next morning beer cans and trash everywhere. No hot breakfast. It was ok though. I don’t think I would’ve eaten there anyway.

Expedia listed hot breakfast when the breakfast was yogurt cereal apple and coffee, hotel had on their listing as continental breakfast on their amenities Elevator out of order both of us had to walk up 2 flights of stairs when we have limitations when bleach wore off in room a smell of mold dead fish but over all room was decent...the hotel had a first but was taken by the owners

Room floor was dirty there was a hole in the wall room smelled offal. Parked in front of the lobby to check in then we took the luggage to the room but were immediately called to move. So the staff could park their cars in front of the door in the shade blocking any costumer from parking to check in. The two cars stayed there all night (4pm 08-02 to 7pm 08-03). Brackets consisted of cereal yogurt and apple coffee tasted like dirty water. Misled to say we had to go to a restaurant to eat. We will never stay there again nor we recommend anyone to stay there.
