The happy hour snacks were not so happy at all. I’ve been to other Embassy Suites and this one is far beyond sad. The pool was closed due to a problem during spring break. It was the indoor pool that got me to pick this hotel. I’m never staying at this hotel again.

Well apparently the bar closed early when it clearly states open till 11:30…my husband went to the bar a little pass 10 and they said they were closed and only catering to guests who had open tabs plus kept telling us to leave the dining area before 11 and mostly to go into our rooms…couldn’t enjoy a night there like before!

This was a typically nice Embassy Suites property but showing its age. The air inside is quite humid, which can also be felt in the carpets, but probably understandable given the humid climate near the ocean. Only 2 out of 4 elevators were in service over 3 days, so being on the upper floors was a bit inconvenient. We didn't use the breakfast service but it looked nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Jason (I think his name was) at the front desk.

This was a typically nice Embassy Suites property but showing its age. I paid the extra money for this hotel because of the indoor pool and the pool was out of service our whole stay. They offered us a sister hotel pool but it was outside and the wind and heat were terrible in corpus as usual that's why we booked an indoor pool hotel. And the rooms are kinda run down

The nightly reception and breakfast are great. Hot tub was nice. We appreciated being able to stay right there to watch the Super Bowl and eat dinner. They took our picture in front of their Valentines display.

Tv didn’t work, drain would not hold water in bathtub, we were there for 4 nights and they never threw our trash or provided fresh towels. Pool area was disgusting, and the water more property needs cleaned and updated.

Courteous check-in and quickly made it to first room. Very strong mold and mildew smell. Wife rejected. Moved to different room and smell was OK. When wife pulled back the sheets after we were both ready for bed she noticed a stain that she deemed to be semen on the sheet and on the mattress protector in the same location. She immediately said we were not staying in a room with a dirty bed. I contacted the front desk and the manager was very apologetic and offered to find us another room. At this point my wife said we were leaving this hotel and them an agent very graciously immediately agreed and told us he would reverse the charges. We immediately booked another room nearby at another hotel where we were satisfied with the room.

Needs a major overhaul. Carpet and furniture felt dirty. I didn’t want to walk around without shoes on. Faucet handle in shower had a hole in it and the shower felt dirty. Room felt clammy even with air conditioning on, including sheets.

Front desk personal were so friendly and fast. This hotel is CLEAN & SPOTLESS. There was absolutely nothing you can do better to improve. The bartender Bee, was super nice and talkative. The cook making the omelets had the best altitude and loves his job. The staff doing breakfast hustled to keep tables and dishes clean. Only work i can use to describe this hotel is PERFECTION

Upon entering the front when you check in, you get a big sniff of chlorine. They have an inside pool. Checking in was avg. The room appeared clean. The shower seemed to have not been deep cleaned in a while with nasty stuff in the door jams of the shower and it appeared to maybe have black mold or mildew on the bottom of the tile in the shower. The mattress seemed comfortable but I didn’t sleep well. The breakfast buffet was descent. I didn’t have the dinner buffet. Parking was ok.

If you bring the staff from Embassy Suites in Corpus Christi to any hotel WITHOUT issues, then you would see a five star review. However, this is not the case. The staff is fantastic and probably some of the best in the business I've run into. The room, however, left a lot more to be desired. The minute you walk in, you smell the musk. Typical smell, usually due to condensation in the ac units that are pretty much run non stop. Then you get to the room where the bed is, and nothing but same musk coming from the corner of the room. Shower, same smell. Tight chest, allergic reaction. Turns out it was black mold and can be spotted in MULTIPLE areas. Under the shower under the tiles, in the sinks, on the AC vents You can see bubbling on the ceiling from obviously from leaking or condensation build up. If it wasn't a holiday weekend I would have booked elsehwere but we only slept in the room and showered. I wouldn't come back due to my family testing positive for allergies to mold spores and this could have killed them but since we were able to just get by and was there for less than 6 hours a day, we just settled. Beware if you're allergic to mold and especially if you see black mold. This stuff can kill you quietly. Thanks to the FD for being awesome but your hotel rooms are dangerous to the public. Also, not to mention, last day before checking out, I saw a couple roaches walking on the ground in the atrium. Hate to see it, but hopefully this brings changes.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites. We enjoyed the daily evening happy hour although the lighting and ambience was a bit dreary because of the weather outside. The suite was a good size. Everything was clean but the hotel rooms could use an update as they are beginning to show their age; especially the couches. Room was cleaned daily which we appreciated. The one negative and I hate to point this out is that I saw a roach the first night there by the kitchenette in the room. I killed it and didn’t see any others but wish I hadn’t seen that. The hotel is right by the highway and convenient to everything.

My only issue…which was big is that we need to sleep on the pull-out bed in the living area and close the doors to the bedroom because traffic was too loud in the morning. Surprised the hotel doesn’t have better sound dampeners…I have hotel rooms near airports with less noise.

Spacious rooms and a nice breakfast. Older hotel that needs some updates. Moldy smell in two of the three rooms, another room needed maintenance because the AC did not work and the tub would not drain. Clerk at the front (Fred, I think) was friendly. Need to lower prices or update the facilities.

I have stayed there plenty times. But on this trip. My A.C unit was leaking , notified front desk and was not repaired. Water was leaking into the floor in our room. Had to use all the towels to keep water contained. And was hot in room.

The room we stayed at was really cold put up thermostat but wasnt working cause it stayed really cold in the room no matter how high we put temperature Water pressure on the shower was really bad also almost no water came out

The vote was nice. Did not realize it’s very close to freeway. With that in mind the noise from freeway you can hear in your room. Was a bit noisy trying to fall asleep. The rooms are nice but they are in need of an update. overall, it was okay.

Could be a great place if it was updated. Furniture was all water damaged, carpet cut and patched and fraying in the doorways in the suite.Lamps didn’t all work, phone didn’t work, sink was cracked. Just not what I’m used to when I book a Hilton property.

This is absolutely my favorite hotel anywhere. Everyone is so friendly and helpful from the kitchen staff, housekeepers, and bar personnel to the front desk check in! We are always recognized and welcomed back. They remember our room preference and sometimes our names. It is so nice to have people glad you are there. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant has excellent food. I will only stay here when in Corpus! Shout out to Jacob and Joe!

Man, I appreciate this hotel. I really enjoyed myself. The front desk was so helpful so sweet so pleasant so happy every time we came in he greeted us by our last name just so awesome. He did a wonderful job thank y’all for everything.

Man, I appreciate this hotel. I really enjoyed myself. The front desk was so helpful so sweet so pleasant so happy every time we came in he greeted us by our last name just so awesome. He did a wonderful job thank y’all for everything.

The RED HEAD kid name Jake if not mistaken he was AWESOME. I was very impress how he acknowledge everyone and I mean EVERYONE who enter the hotel making us feel very welcoming. The room we were in was hot despite the thermostat at 60 degrees. I asked the front staff for a box fan to help cool it down and they said they would bring it immediately. 3 hours later i asked again for a box fan. They apologized, again saying they would bring it right away. They never showed. I spent 2 nights with very little sleep. Very disappointing that they repeatedly lied to me.

We stay here often but this time the breakfast was not good at all. It was cold. Took about 20 min to get checked in. I was told my room was ready but needed to wait a min. The bartender was was rude this trip and when we stayed here last Thanksgiving. We will probably somewhere else next time we go to Corpus.

Front desk staff the day of check in and check out were horrible. The rest of the staff was amazing. Cocktail hour was great. Breakfast was A1. It was a great area. Close to all types of food places and shopping. As others have stated, it needs some updates. I would not stay at this location again.

The vote was nice. Did not realize it’s very close to freeway. With that in mind the noise from freeway you can hear in your room. Was a bit noisy trying to fall asleep. The rooms are nice but they are in need of an update. overall, it was okay.

I’ve been coming here for years, and even though the hotel is showing some wear and tear, the staff, the breakfast, the evening reception, and overall family friendly environment make this hotel a place I’ll continue using when I’m in Corpus Christi. North Padre Island and Port Aransas are an approximate 30 minute drive, and Mustang Island is even closer.

I really like staying at the Embassy Suites because there are 2 rooms, a living room and a bedroom. They also have free happy hour and breakfast. The sitting areas are comfortable and plentiful. The area where the hotel is located is really convenient to everything, shopping, eating, etc. The staff was friendly and and helpful, especially Jake. My only complaint is their was not eough housekeeping staff. We asked for daily room cleaning, we were there for 5 days, but we only received housekeeping for 1 of those days. Also one of the access doors was broken, so you had to walk all the way around to the front door if you had to park in back. But that was minor. My overall experiencewas great.

All the workers were friendly and attentive. The front desk guy was probably the best employee I’ve encountered at any establishment. He made it a point to learn our names and greet us every time we entered and exited. He went above and beyond. Breakfasts were amazing.

The room was spacious and clean. The indoor pool area has towels, showers and bathrooms and the pool isn't cold. The Impressions restaurant has delicious food and the reception cocktails are good. The morning breakfast includes a made to order omelet station. The customer service is top notch.

The front desk staff was friendly enough and the hotel itself was clean as well as the room. The one complaint is, the Bartender working 10/8/2025 was extremely rude. My partner and I were just looking at the menu for the free reception and the bartender rudely interjected and said the line forms over here folks if you’re trying to order. We both looked at each other questioning who he was talking to but clearly it was us. He seemed to be annoyed that we took him away from his usual patrons. He was annoyed when we ordered, we even tipped him even though he did not deserve it. It was not busy at all, there were two people sitting at the bar and only one other couple behind us in line. We came back to order our last drink and he proceeded to just talk to the people sitting at the bar and let us stand at the bar for a good five minutes before even acknowledging us. It was ridiculous. It was super dead and there was no excuse for the behavior. We were very kind. Do better. He was the sour note to my time at the hotel and I most likely won’t be back bc of it. I enjoy hotel bars. Disappointed.

The property was in a convenient location. However, it was quite dated and needs some updates and renovations. It took is forever to get more towels and the breakfast was just ok. We have stayed here before and it was great, but this time it didn't seem like the AC was cooling properly. It was checked but I feel like all they did was drop the temp to 60 which maybe froze up the unit a little , but im not sure. Definitely was warm in the room. Tried to call the front desk and none of the phones worked in the room. The furniture is definitely cracking and older. I feel like the property needs a few updates. Staff was very friendly I will say.

When we got into our room, we found hair in the shower and on the toilet seat. My wife always takes Clorox cleaner spray to clean the toilet and shower so, we were going to clean it anyway. The water in the tub/shower was partially clogged so we got maintenance to pour some drank and we let it sit for over an hour before we ran hot water. That fixed the problem. At night, the AC would make a loud banging noise that would wake me up about every half hour. The rest of our stay was great. We enjoyed the free cocktails and relaxed at the pool with our kids. Additionally, we really enjoyed the free complimentary breakfast. It was wonderful to have a made to order omelette. We did tip our bartender and the person making the custom breakfast omelettes. Overall, our stay was good. I give it a 4 out of 5!
