Although the pricing of the hotel was fair, our issues was that the carpet was very old and dirty walls were stained, we had a leak in the corner of our window, causing the floor in the corner to be wet and it smelt musty. But our biggest issue was that the elevator was out and we were on the fourth floor! At first, we thought it’s a weekend understandable. But reviewing other reviews that I did not read previously it looks like the elevator has been out for more than a month!! The check-in staff at 11 o’clock pm was less than helpful. Breakfast was pleasant. Location was great, but it needs a major update! And having an elevator out and walking up four flights of stairs with luggage is totally uncalled for when we asked for extra towels in our room, she informed me that due the elevator being out they couldn’t bring them to me. But I guess they had no issue with me walking down four flights of stairs and back up four flights of stairs to get towels they should’ve left in the room. With this being a La Quinta by Wyndham, I was surprised at both the condition of the hotel and these issues! I purposely choose hotels by Wyndham or through Hilton. They’re in a big group so that we do not have these kinds of issues.

This hotel needs to be shut down!!! Horrible service, experience & very unsafe. Didn’t tell people elevator was broken. Stairway was beyond filthy & musty. The entire carpet needs to be removed. Actually that facility needs to be torn down. The smell of marijuana was so strong throughout the facility. Room & hallway smelled like cigarette smoke & this is suppose to be 100 smoke free place. Cops showed up 3 times. Paraphernalia such as used needs found on bed. Staff was rude. The amount of homeless outside is unreal. The reviews on here must be fake!! Do not stay here. I’m calls corporate because this place gives la Quinta a bad name.
