Old hotel The floor caved in Elevator was broken I don't know what the bedspreads were, but they were horribly itchy Luckily, I brought bedspreads and was able to remove the existing ones and put my own on. The service was good.

The service was good but the main reason we checked in was due to the pool. The pool was greenish and folks were allowed to jump in. It wasn’t until the following that it was closed

The room was quiet and clean. The parking is gated and you can feel safe staying here. Not much of a breakfast person but they did provide variety. Convenient location right off the freeway for i10 road trips.

We have stayed several times now the hotel is always clean and beds comfortable. It’s right next to highway so it can be loud and the area is not the best but despite that I feel safe they have enclosed parking available to help protect your vehicle.

Hotel was just ok, but the elevator quick working one day into our stay and was not fixed when we left. Ice machine never worked. Breakfast was barely edible. Sausage was grey and looked dead. Would not stay here again.

Pretty good place, the woman at the front was really nice and everything seemed well. Only thing was the elevator was a little sketchy and we did have a leak with the rain in our bathroom.

This place has turned us off from ever using Best Western again. Traveling across country and this is by far the worst Best Western we have stayed. 1. Undisclosed fee of $100 upon check in regardless if you paid in full online. They stated it would be only refunded after our room was inspected after check out. Once we were long gone and couldn't dispute any discrepancy. The deposit would be refunded afterb5-7 business days. Hey, BW, you are not a resort. 2. Staff was rude. Stating that all Best Western charge the $100 fee was required at all BW hotels. This is not true as we have stayed at several in the last two years traveling over 20 states. And, we stayed at one the night before. Take It or leave it attitude. 3. Bathroom was not very clean and had mold. 4. Mildew smell in lobby and room. 5. Breakfast was not good. Who serves Foldgers intant coffee? Yuck. 6. Seedy part of town. Avoid. Overall, I do not recommend this location.

I have stayed here plenty of times before, but this time I experienced roaches. Four roaches total in the same evening. One in the restroom, one on the bed, one by the tv and one on the couch. Contacted the front desk and they couldn’t move me since it was full. Other than that no issues.

The room was nice for the most part. You could tell there is possibly a foundation issue from some cracks around the room. The hotel advertised queen-sized beds which are more or less full-size beds. The waffle area is mislabeled as far as flavors when I alerted staff of the issue, I was told it was always going to be mislabeled due to the amount of different options they had.

We had to find emergency housing for a family in transition. Best Western Plus Heritage Inn on I-10 East Freeway, Houston, TX provided a safe and friendly environment for a single mom and her five young children. From checking in to checking out, the family was greeted with warm and friendly smiles and an efficient and simple process. The lobby was clean with a nice, modern décor that made all of us feel welcomed. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable with all the amenities, including, Wi-Fi, mini fridge, coffee maker, and morning breakfast. Fresh coffee was provided in the front -lobby and dining area. The swimming pool was opened; they offer business and laundry services; and, pets are allowed. Plus, this was the most economical option compared to several other major brand hotels in the area. Thank you to the owner and management team for your hospitality and fantastic service!

View was horrible. Room was updated except for sofa- looked dirty. Breakfast wonderful, staff so courteous. Bathroom updated loved it, parking lot was key entry felt safer.

We have stayed here a couple times now and both times the hotel room is comfortable and clean the front desk person is always nice. The only problem if your a light sleeper the noise from highway may be an issue. I like staying here because the price is affordable , the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable and the parking lot is completely safe because they have most of the parking behind a security gate.

Very friendly staff and a very clean hotel. My only complaint is that I was unable to connect to the WiFi, even with the password. I am not sure if it was possibly due to being out of range or barely within range. I just used my hotspot on my phone to get internet for my laptop. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this location. I will book here again whenever I am in the Houston area.

We stayed here for 5 days, and overall, the service was great, the girl who worked there late at night was always super nice to us every time we’d see her. The environment around the hotel was honestly a little sketchy, with police showing up to just stay around the hotel one day, but besides all of that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Rooms that faced the road were extremely noisy due to the high volume of traffic on the major road. The hotel is along the access road and has an interstate pedestrian bridge right next to it. The AC in Room 211 left the room smelling musty. The odor was very strong The clothes left on the chair by the AC overnight were wet in the morning and the moisture warped a book that was left on the nightstand. The check-in clerk was on her phone and did not immediately greet me as I was standing at the desk. She gave us no information when we checked in such as the location of the room- the best door to enter to get to our room, details about only one way in and out of the back gated parking lot, where the elevators were, what time breakfast was served, or the Wifi password. I have no idea who trained her, but she failed to do her job with our check-in. She did not mention ANY of that important information. Breakfast was good. The covers on the bed were too thin and the bed was rock hard. I would not recommend this motel for more than one night.

The stay would have been much better and had I not expected the horrible customer service from I believe the front desk clerk Eva. She was very rude in her tone and delivery of responses. I felt as if I was a bother and irrelevant. As I was waiting on my bags I also overheard her on the phone with a customer and she displayed the same horrible customer service. From my understanding she has been there 18 years. I find it hard to believe that she hasn’t had any complaints. Had it not been for the younger clerk Merilyn I believe I would have left. She was extremely nice and apologized for my bad experience. I hope that the clerk gets held accountable for the horrible service if not consider a new career because she clearly seems miserable. It’s unfortunate that people like her represent your establishment.

We really enjoyed our stay! The rooms were cleaned and beds were comfortable. They also had gated parking. Location was good with places to eat close by. Minute Maid Park was a breeze to drive to.

We have stayed several times now the hotel is always clean and beds comfortable. It’s right next to highway so it can be loud and the area is not the best but despite that I feel safe they have enclosed parking available to help protect your vehicle.

Had a great time, while travelling to Houston. The hotel stay was very pleasant. The breakfast was delicious. The location was very convenient, with access to great dining places, attractions and such. The check-in was a bit extended, however, the rest of the stay was great!

This hotel is in a really bad part of town. I was afraid to leave the hotel by myself at night. The sheets were dirty along with the old stained sofa that looked like it needed to be taken to the dumpster. The front reception was the only good thing about this hotel. It is far away from the city, takes almost an hour with traffic just to get to the zoo.

We stayed here for 5 days, and overall, the service was great, the girl who worked there late at night was always super nice to us every time we’d see her. Our room was pretty good, there were a few issues with the bathroom door not being able to close all the way, and a few light issues. The environment around the hotel was honestly a little sketchy, with police showing up to just stay around the hotel one day, but besides all of that, we really enjoyed our stay!

This place has turned us off from ever using Best Western again. Traveling across country and this is by far the worst Best Western we have stayed. 1. Undisclosed fee of $100 upon check in regardless if you paid in full online. They stated it would be only refunded after our room was inspected after check out. Once we were long gone and couldn't dispute any discrepancy. The deposit would be refunded afterb5-7 business days. Hey, BW, you are not a resort. 2. Staff was rude. Stating that all Best Western charge the $100 fee was required at all BW hotels. This is not true as we have stayed at several in the last two years traveling over 20 states. And, we stayed at one the night before. Take It or leave it attitude. 3. Bathroom was not very clean and had mold. 4. Mildew smell in lobby and room. 5. Breakfast was not good. Who serves Foldgers intant coffee? Yuck. 6. Seedy part of town. Avoid. Overall, I do not recommend this location.

The area didn’t feel the safest, most of the staff wasn't very friendly or welcoming. The breakfast was horrible and had a terrible layout! The build needs some repairs and new beds!

Hotel was just ok, but the elevator quick working one day into our stay and was not fixed when we left. Ice machine never worked. Breakfast was barely edible. Sausage was grey and looked dead. Would not stay here again.

The room when we first got the the room was not very clean, dust on furniture and we found a small roach in the bathroom. The next days the housekeeper did an excellent job, so we appreciated it alot. The bathroom was dated, no shampoo dispenser, lotion, etc, we been to other hotels lately and they all had more modern bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner dispensers, hand soap and lotion as well. The pillows were small, they looked more like sofa cushions. Breakfast was not good at all, not enough variety. Private and safe parking, place was very peaceful.

Your morning desk attendant Ava (Gonzalez?) was very rude to my guest prior to contacting me in my room upon her arrival. Ava conducted herself more like a border patrol agent demanding ID than a customer service representative. I am sure I am not the only guest to have had a negative experience at the hands of Ava. Please consider a replacement or additional training. Thank you.

We stayed in Houston for a couple of days and this was a good hotel to stay in! The rooms are clean and well maintained. The pool is a nice add for those with families in the summer heat and breakfast was good! There’s also a gym though we didn’t use it. We did feel like the AC was a bit stuffy but otherwise it worked well. This is a good stay for families on a road trip or stopping in Houston for a few days or a week or so!
