It's a perfectly fine place. The public areas are mostly clean and updated. However, the fitness center - a main reason I booked - was closed "indefinitely". And the hallway carpets sport some very odd stains. The breakfast was fine - good waffles, biscuits & gravy, sausage, bagels, yogurt, etc. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom is just a few too many years past needing a rehab. The bath exhaust fan didn't work, and so the bathroom always seemed a bit steamy/funky, and it definitely needs some new paint and caulking, and a gasket to stop the constantly leaking tub faucet. But the room is very spacious; there's a good fridge and microwave, comfortable bed and pillows, sofa and chair, desk with good internet, so it suited me just fine. It's right near a freeway overpass so there's some traffic noise, but there's there's also lots of retail and fast food, and fast-casual type restaurants close by, so overall the location is in its favor.

The elevator was out of order. Carpet needs to be replaced. The room was a bit warm even with the ac on full blast. Not a bad place. Just not a great place.

The pool had mold along the entire wall, water was murky, it looked and smelled as though no cleaning or chemicals have been used in a long time. The bathrooms need new toilet seats, they were stained, old and disgusting. The pillow cases and sheets need to be changed more often, they smelled of the people who stayed the evening prior. The couch in the corner had sticky white substance on it. Breakfast: the milk jug had caked on milk around the rim. The area the hotel is in is not the best. Lots of homeless wandering. I don’t know how the rating is as high as it is.

Property lacking a bit at this facility. My main concern was the side entry. While the doors had card readers, they did not work and as a result they were not secured at night and the front desk was not manned for long periods of time, a situation that would allow a bad actor to enter the facility unnoticed. Staff were friendly and helpful but the problem was the Property itself. Its had a very dated feal and has an old moldy odor. Our room did have a few roaches and there were some questionable stains on the wall by the bed, but the bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. During the night you could her kids running and screamingin the hall but they eventuality settled down and I was able to finally doze off sometime after midnight. Some folks passing thru the parking lot on foot looked a bit shady, but they were just passing by. Truth is they do have reasonable rates and for the money its ok. You get what you pay for, and they do make a purity good breakfast. Probably won't be back but for a one night stay for 50 bucks or so, yeah why not.

I drove in to meet my sister for a little weekend getaway. We were so excited to sit by the pool in the beautiful weather and catch up. Imagine our disappointment when we were told the pool was closed by the HEALTH DEPT. and once we took a peek around, I can see why. I wanted to speak with a manager but allegedly no one was available. I tried calling hotels dot com and all I got was an AI bot. This hotel was so filthy. The carpet is ripped up and a fall hazard in the halls. I saw a baby roach in the life machine but didn’t have my phone to take a pic. Huge stains on the carpet in the room. I have multiple pics and it was just a horrible experience.

The smell in most of the hotel was horrible. The juice machine at breakfast was horrible! Killed three spiders in the room the first night. Two of the emergency exit doors were locked from the inside.

The hallways and room had torn carpet. The bath had rusted and calcified fixtures. Bathroom smelled of mold. Bathroom had chiped and cracked paint like someone broke into the bathroom. This entire facility is indeed of a complete renovation

It was ok for the price and the elevator needs attention for it was scary.

Smelt walking in and down the hallway very musty. Walked into room and notice carpet missing and the room just smelt. The beds were damp due to lack of de humidity from the air conditioning. Mini fridge was leaking water into The carpet and the bathroom floor was slimy feeling. The ceiling has mold on it and it’s obvious the exhaust fan hasn’t ran in a wild due to rust on the metal. Beds were uncomfortable. Overall was not a good stay and will not be staying here again

Beware, There were roaches crawling all over the room. The carpet, walls, curtains, chairs, and bathroom were filthy. I didn't use the shower because it was filthy. This place should be shut down. I went to talk to the front desk and they didn't seem to care. The front office just said, "Ok, I'm sorry."

Very dirty: bathroom - towels smell bad - roaches - no hot water . No internet. The location smell bad on star to much. I don’t recommend it for no one.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. When I first checked into my room, I discovered feces still in the toilet. I requested another room, only to find that the beds and couches were filthy in the second room. Thinking it couldn’t get worse, I asked to be moved again but the third room had roaches. At that point, I didn’t feel safe or comfortable staying in the hotel at all. Despite the terrible conditions, I was still charged for one night, which is completely unacceptable given the circumstances. This hotel is unsanitary, poorly maintained, and not worth the money. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere.

Absolutely disgusting. Found 3 roaches in our room. Couch had stains all over. Everything was dirty. Shower curtain rod was falling off. Worse hotel i have ever stayed at

Horrible i checked out at 11pm. When i arrived the room had a mold and smoke smell and there was roaches on bed and tv stand. I got switched to a different room and same thing after a few hours i had to leave the smell was bad and roaches on bed and there was hair on bed.

Pictures of this property are so deceiving. Hotel is pet friendly in ALL rooms. There were fleas that bit one of my kids and roaches in rooms. Carpets are filthy, shower curtain was being held by piece of wood. Hotel did not want to do anything about the situation even though we notified them of the incident with in 10min of checking in. Said they could not refund us and there was no supervisor we could talk to.

The hotel was infested with roaches. When we pulled our civers back on the bed roaches scattered and they were all over the walls too. We hot switched to another room and it had roaches too. We couldn't even sleep because we were paranoid about the roaches. The boiler broke and there was no hot water. They were rudely rushing everyone out of the hotel. My family couldn't even shower.

The room had a strong smell of damp, and when I asked for sheets for the sofa bed, they said they didn't.

The staff was very polite when I checked in. The hotel room was just ok. The lamp plugs did not work to charge your phone or any other device. The telephone (land line) did not work in the. The door lock latch was broken. Room was by the emergency exit so I propped the desk chair under the door knob for the night.

The people are trying but they really need to close and renovate. Hallways smelled of incense with a stale weed undertone. Beds were comfortable.

The bed in the room I stayed in needs to be replaced entirely. There’s a large sink hole in the middle of the mattress which made for an extremely uncomfortable sleep. Since the middle is sunk in, the corners are perched up like desks. Very springy, very hard at the same time but mostly, was like a mattress that you’ll usually see on the side of the road for heavy trash haul. This mattress shouldn’t be on any hotel room bed. Attendants were super friendly and professional. Check in was a breeze and yeh area is convenient to major highway and dining. Love the remote checkout. Didn’t get to do breakfast but it was included.

There was crayon markings all over the wall, the shower was falling apart and peeling, the bathroom door had been kicked in and put back together by what looked like a 12 year old. The ceiling had obvious water damage, carpet very old and dingy. We showered on towels to avoid standing barefoot, and no one took their shoes off on the carpet. Staff very nice though.

There were huge bleached areas on the carpet in the hall. In one location the carpet was bare down to the backing. Upon entering the room, we turned on the AC unit and left to go to dinner. When we returned from dinner, the AC was off and the room was very hot and stinky. The carpet was dirty and stained in the room and the tile threshold in the bathroom doorway was broken and a piece about 4 inches long was missing. The bulbs in 2 of the 4 lamps were burned out. The porcelain was flaking off the tub in a large area and there was no hot water. We contacted the front desk at 10 PM and told them the AC was not working and we were told by the woman working the desk that the AC units are programmed to only cool the room to 75 degrees because in their opinion that is cool enough. When we mentioned the burned out light bulbs we were told she did not have any bulbs. We also found a piece of hard broken plastic with several staples in it on the floor at the end of the bed. The carpet obviously had not been vacuumed. At midnight when the AC unit stopped working altogether and errored out we again contacted the from desk and were told they could not fix an AC but could move us to another room. We were told to leave all of our belongings in the first room and just take what we needed for the night to the other room. Needless to say, we packed up everything and moved to the new room. The new room was slightly better although there were nails sticking out of the wall but the AC worked.

Overall a clean hotel and close to all type of restaurants and stores. Someone was smoking and the hallways and elevator smelled like smoke which was horrible for me and our son due to breathing issues. Our room key kept messing up and the air conditioner made this ridiculously loud noise. It’s a nice place to stay if you don’t plan on being in your room long. Oh and the pool was cold and some strange man kept walking around the building trying to get us to tell him where our room was which was very weird (luckily my husband was never more then a few feet away)

When we first got there it smelled like cigarettes and then once we were checking in the girl from the front desk told us we had to pay a security deposit which was never mentioned when we booked the hotel.Once we payed the deposit we went to our rooms (we booked two rooms btw) one of the rooms smelled like straight up cigarettes so we went downstairs to request a new room and which was changed. Once we were checking out we asked for our security deposit (because it’s supposed to be refundable) they tell us we never payed it and it wouldn’t be possible. We were like why if we payed it and it’s supposed to be refundable they told us we had to wait and come back from 10-2 (mind you we were trying to leave at 8 because we live 5 hours away) and they were just telling us that we never paid. After an hour went by they finally gave us our deposit back and we left. Will never book here again!

Front desk person could barely speak English. Upon arrival I was informed that the room I requested was not available and that they had another room available but I would need to post a $50 deposit. (I never requested room 107) This took a while because she was so hard to understand. Finally I get into the room and turn on the lights, roaches. I have pictures. The bed sheets had stains, the carpet in the room had orange glow paint in a corner of the room. I would never recommend County Inn again. This came about because I thought I could trust Travelocity for a decent night to sleep after a long day of traveling. Thank you Travelocity. You get a thumbs down.

The checkin process took forever and it seemed like the staff had no idea what they were doing. The elevator ride to the 3rd floor traumatized my 7 year old niece. The elevator begins to shake and bounce not to mention make a terrifying sound from the 2nd floor up to the third. Once in my room, immediately it looks clean but once you take the opportuntiy to look around, you see how unclean it is. The carpet wasn't vacuumed well, the lamp shades looked as though they had all been in a fight with someone, The mini fridge was never cleaned out from the previous occupant and even after I made the front desk it remained in the same condition, there were roaches in the room, the towels are ridiculously paper thin and the walls were dingy and had bloodied snots on them. I addressed the front desk about this on several occasions and nothing was done about. They offer a pool and a fitness room that were both closed during my stay there. They offer free breakfast but to be honest I refused to eat it as a result of knowing the hotel has roaches. WILL NOT STAY THERE AGAIN. All in all, after complaining several times and not even offered to be compensated or have my price adjusted it was clear that the management of this hotel is not at all interested in their customers. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Staff was really nice. Room was clean and ac was working in great condition.

We had to ask the room attendant to clean our room as it wasn't done for 4 days, after we requested. The bathroom door was coming off the hinge. The tv didn't work. We actually had to change rooms twice. First room smelt smokey. The second room the toilet wasn't working. Dry stopped working in laundry room. Only good thing about this property was that the front desk staff was accommodating. Good area also. But won't return to this property.

This place is really amazing and so is the manager. We rented two rooms for two days because of a storm that knocked the power out everywhere most of the entire city except for a few places like this place We knew the power would be off at least, we got into one room. The other room is not ready. We were in there for a few hours, watching the news. And then got word from my neighbor that the power actually had come back on even though one. 1.1 million people were without electricity, My elderly mother’s house all of a sudden had power. I offered to pay for just the one night if he would refund the other room entirely and the next night for the one we were in He said no He gave us an entire refund But I stayed here before the quality is always amazing If I could give the manager and the location more than five stars, I would

Checking in was a little hassle. They said they couldn’t find my reservation. However, I had my confirmation number, and after they made a phone call I was good to go. Despite this, I would still stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel last minute after falling ill on the final day of the AAU tournament and realizing we couldn’t make the drive home. For the price, it was a convenient option and check-in went smoothly. Unfortunately, we were misinformed about the breakfast schedule and arrived 30 minutes too late the following morning. Thankfully, the staff member on duty was extremely kind and accommodating—she offered to warm up sausages for us despite breakfast being over. She mentioned the breakfast times often change between weekdays and weekends, which may explain the confusion. The room itself was spacious but not entirely comfortable. The pillows lacked support, and the sheets had an unpleasant odor. That said, given how unwell I felt, most of the smaller details escaped my attention. Overall, the staff’s kindness stood out during a difficult time, but cleanliness and comfort could be improved.

No one was ever at the desk or answered the phone when called. The walls have splatters on them. Property is not maintained. Pillows are like pancakes. My son got sick and got very little vomit on the sheets and the hotel charged $100 extra because of it. The daily stay is cheaper than the damages fee. No plug for the bathroom drain. Hotel is not as advertised.

I think this was my second time at a Country Inn. They've been consistently affordable and pleasant. The parking was easy, check in was easy and the room was nice.

Dirty and so many homeless people outside

Although this hotel is located in a wonderful location with a lot of restaurants walking distance, the hotel itself is terrible. The first room I was assigned had no lock on the door. The second room was beyond filthy! Cockroaches in both the bathroom and on the room door, black mold growing on the walls in the bathroom, blood stains on the carpet, and random wet spots on the carpet. Checked out after 3 hours. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

It took me almost 25 minutes to find the exit to the property

We have stayed here several times when we come visit my son and family. It is a great location and easy to get to. The food is decent. The one blemish was the juice machine was out of order throughout our 3 night stay. However, it was being repaired the morning we left.

Convinience of food, shopping choices, friendly staff

The location is good, near to shopping markets and restaurants. The staff was helpful. Cleannes is 3 average. The breakfast was poor.

There were people constantly walking in and out, loitering around the hotel, and the atmosphere felt unsettling—almost like something suspicious or criminal was going on. When we walked in it appeared neat, but after we got to our room there the room had a stench. The room was tidy, but it STUNK. I was somewhat concerned about the office chair in the room as well that was obviously broken. I hoped that I was not going to be blamed for the broken chair. Maybe this stench is a humidity issue. I'm not sure. People at the desk were nice. Breakfast included, but no juice, and the breakfast was rather chincy.

You get what you paid for can't really complain. There was no line for the waffles.

This property is very rundown. Big holes in blackout curtains, broken faucets, running faucets, broken tiles, etc. Breakfast was always out of food and coffee. Very poorly managed. There 5 days, bedding never changed. Advised of running faucet on first day, never fixed. Would never recommend to anyone without complete overhaul.

We stay here several times per year when in Houston to visit the grandkids. It’s quiet, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast is always hot and plentiful.
