Wyndham Houston Hobby Airport

The hall way smelled like old water and the bath tub was piling paint the bar had hot beer and all the had for food was chicken tenders i went to the double tree to eat and have some beers

We booked it because it had a pool listed and a restaurant. When we arrived we were told the pool was "inoperable" and the restaurant was closed. The hotel was in poor condition. The room condition was fair but found bugs in the hallway. It smelled like wet rotting rug. We did contact the hotel itself and we're supposed to get a call back but never did. We always use Holiday Inn for the name brand and never have seen a property like this. They should have their name revoked. Not sure what they are waiting for!!!

Beryl came through and a good portion of the floors were soaking wet from the storm. I would have liked to have known about the storm damage prior to making my reservation. Additionally, there is not really any available parking. There are a few spots outside and then there is a garage area where I really didn't feel safe going into.

This property is currently under construction. It has extensive water damage. Smells of mildew from water damage in walls. Do not clean room. Tub drain was clogged.

Pool was close, as was the bar and kitchen. Room smelled moldy as did the carpet. Hallways were unattended for the ceiling tiles were falling down. Overall cleanliness was totally lacking and unsatisfactory. The shuttle driver never showed up to take me a sister hotel so I could eat and use their pool. Very disappointed with the hotel. The csr at check in was excellent. That’s the only good thing about my entire experience that was positive.

Room was ok but I s looking forward to the bar and pool and neither worked. :( they did have leaks in the hall way that made the carpet squeak as I walked to room. But room was comfortable

Recently changed company. The continental breakfast did not have much to offer. The area is not that great unfortunately my stayed ended with finding my car with a broken glass. The cameras were cover with some kind plastic. The front desk was notified and only the cops were called. Also, the housekeeper was alone and came around to the room around 3 in the afternoon. I would definitely suggest other hotels further from this area.

The place had a musty, moldy smell especially in the hallways. There were water marks on the ceilings and the hall rugs were gross. The pool and hot tub were closed because they were all moldy and green. I don't feel it should have been closed because it was October, in Houston Texas, it was still 80' to 90' degrees there during the day. If it was closed because they think swimming is over in October, then it should have listed that it is only open in certain months. The food was only priced as a buffet. I eat very little at breakfast, so $18.00 for it was crazy. They did have free coffee at the front, that was nice. The in-room coffee/cups weren't restocked for me on our 3 days there. They had a bar listed there and yes there was one, but they had 1 beer or none for most of the beer they offered. The wine was a really cheap brand, and they charged for 1 glass as much as the whole bottle would cost. No merlot, and only enough for maybe 1 or 2 glasses of red and white left. We were there on a Wednesday - Sunday, when do they restock? But they acted like that's normal to have nothing to offer. I didn't ask for any hard liquor. I just bought some wine at the store. The room itself was clean and comfortable enough. The hot water was great, but the tub was peeling and no amount of fixing the shower curtain could keep the water from flooding the bathroom floor. So, one towel was always used for mopping up the floor.

The room was fine, bedding was clean, felt safe while in the facility. Building was run down and either badly damaged or under construction.

Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good for an extra $12 charge. We have stayed at this hotel for over a decade with family and in the last 3 to 5 years we have seen it go through a major renovation. But when you look at the hotel on the outside or the highly neglected pool area it does not look renovated at all. The beautiful fountains out front were not full of water and we're not working properly. It could look beautiful at the entrance and at the pool area with a little bit of work and maintenance. The inside Lobby and breakfast area look great

The room had a musky smell to it, found ants in the restroom and floors weren’t cleaned well.

Old and smelt of mold

Awful smell in hallways. Old and outdated. Saw 4 roaches in room. No water pressure whatsoever. One of the worst experiences ive ever had in a hotel. Be very careful.

The lobby looks beautiful- but once you get on the elevator you’re greeted with moldy smells, filthy carpets, and things that don’t work.

Staff and cleaners were very nice and polite. The pictures online do not look like hotel. Pool was not clean and bugs were in our room….. there seemed to have been water leaks in the hotel as on every floor there was a humidifier and water damages inside and outside the rooms. It was very close to the hobby airport. Don’t get confused from which airport you are travelling to.

The hotel is old. The bed headboard was nasty and stained. The room had roaches. The bathtub was undesirable, peeling paint, stains, bathroom just looked and felt unclean or uncared for. I slept with tv and lights on to make sure no roaches would crawl on my luggage and bags during the night. Worst hotel I’ve stay at and I have stayed at plenty. Was not worth what I paid.

The property didn’t have a pool!!! Very low alcohol choices at bar breakfast was over too early there was a dead roach in the tub I killed the first roach in the bathroom water wasn’t getting hot in the shower there was a foul odor of mildew the condition was bad but the people were nice

1st of all we arrived extremely late due to lost of construction was told on the phone our reservation would be canceled called again and was told ok come in. When we got there the hotel smelled like smoke, wet & just dirty. The room had riches in the shower & RR called reception they never answered. The 5th floor has fans trying to dry the walls that have water marks and carpets were moldy and smelled horrible! Will never stay here again! It was almost 2am & I was looking for other hotels but no luck. If I would have known never would have stayed there. Then still got charged another $50 who knows for what!

We were disappointed with a limited bar selection. Found out that the Hilton Garden Hotel hwas very nice and well equipped. It eas close by so, we walked to it. Other than that, the rooms are spacious and the updates are nice.

Right next to 2nd floor staircase, people yelling and screaming down the hall past midnight. A/C puts out moldy smell and doesn’t do a great job cooling the room. Various stains in carpets throughout halls and in room made it feel kinda gross to stay there. I will say the drive to the parking in the morning is extremely convenient all things aside.

Older hotel than i expected.

Loud kids crying and screeming past midnight , our room smelled of musk & dirt. The bathroom had limited amenities. Down stairs bathroom was a long walk from elevator due to the onea next to check in they would not open for guest. Bed was OK woke up sore and unrested.

I wish it was standard practice to discuss the breakfast coupon when you check in. It seems as though every time I stay at a Holiday Inn that isnt an Express, they tell me the next morning that I must pay for breakfast because the night clerk didnt include it. Also, our a/c unit in the room must be going out. It never completely cooled the room. We didn't say anything about it to management because we didn't want to have to switch rooms in the middle of the night, but it was warm at best. Staff was friendly, however. I would come back.

The staff was terrible. They refused to help. They were rude and disrespectful.

When I called the airport shuttle to pick me up the man that was in the front desk was rude and they ended up picking me up late. When I got to the hotel the man was very dismissive and raised his voice at me with a mean look because I didn’t understand what he was saying. The room we got wasn’t clean and looked outdated.

Frances at the front desk on Thursday was outstanding and deserves a special bonus. She personally made my stay better .

The staff, especially the shuttle driver, were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend for a stay near the airport. The food and bartender were also exceptional.

THE STAFF WAS RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL. I PAID FOR BREAKFAST AND WAS TOLD I COULDN'T HAVE THE BREAKFAST EVEN THOUGH I CLEARLY HAD A RECEIPT THAT SAID I PAID!!!

They double charged me for the deposit. At check in I used my credit card to secure the deposit. However, hours later my debit card used at booking was then charged the same deposit amount. The lady at check in was rude and more concerned about her phone call than being attentive to guest.

Strange smell in the halls but overall was a pleasant stay. Only needed some sleep before flight. Price was fair for what I need the stay for. Shuttle got me to airport on time and driver was super sweet

Worn out, recent rain had flooded several floors. Bad neighborhood.

We stayed due to a flight being delayed. Overall it was close and convenient. Shuttle van was a little dirty but it served it's purpose.

Great staff that helped us get our large group to the airport for a very early flight. They also had everything ready for the group to check in when we arrived.

I love the Wyndham!!! My second stay! Its mere minutes away from the airport, and downtown Houston.

You get what you pay for, I guess. It was definitely better than spending 12 hours in the Houston airport. The front desk staff was short on the phone but nice in person. Felt clean enough to shower and sleep. The outside looks a little rough. The airport shuttle driver was nice and quick!

The hotel is very outdated they say that they have room service very very limited burger sandwich wings that's about it bar is poorly stocked prices are way too high

The hallways smell pretty bad and I disliked the fact that I had to pay for breakfast when the page says breakfast included. Not staying there ever again !

No service at the bar and very limited service and offerings at the restaurant. The cable tv had limited and no good channels. I didn’t receive my wake up call. The front desk had no change so I could tip the van driver. The van service was very good!

Breakfast did not have any other milk options, fruit selections were few and coffee was warm not hot had to heat it in the microwave

Ok for airport transport but dont expect cable, internet or phone service. Management is non-responsive, flippant and not accomodating. Also forget vending food if you slide in after hours. Not even a vending machine in sight.
