It was fine, room needs updating. Hard floors were probably 10 years past due for replacement. Towel rack kept falling off. We were told pool would open up tomorrow for 3 days, 3rd day pool won't open until next week. Deep hole in the parking lot, was not properly fenced off, probably an osha violation due to the depth. Breakfast was fine, gravy was very cold the first day. We were told housekeeping would stop every other day for towels. They showed up once. There was no hand soap when we arrived. Location is decent. Can be an issue getting out certain times of the day if you're in a rush as its a 6 lane street. Luckily stop lights are timed well and a little patience goes a long way.

Not crazy nice but definitely safe and nice for our mini vacation. Only thing that sucked is the pool was freezing it wasn’t heated which that’s something I really enjoy to do on vacation. And no hot tub which is also something I really enjoy on a vacation. We stayed in a 2 room suite .

Low price but with unhelpful staff, it is not worth it. Closed pool, poorly lighted elevator, construction blocking entrances, wet room carpets from leaking AC, dead AC at 100F temperature outside, and staff unwilling to prioritize moving to a new room due to wife's health concerns. Overall, poor value. Will not stay in the same hotel again, and will not recommend others to stay.

Lovely area. Very close to the NASA visitor centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Sadly pool was shut for our entire stay and that’s one of the reasons we chose to stay here. Great room and facilities. Just a shame that the wood flooring was so cracked that we had to keep our shoes on in case we cut our feet.

Swimming pool was closed, Next door dog was barking whole night, most of things are pretty old , sofa was wear and tear. Hotes.com show image of MainStay Suites with Marriott but its NOT. My kids was very upset with no pool

Unfortunately the pool was closed at this time, room missing a tv remote that the front desk did not have. Staff offered to move me but too late to make it worth the effort.

The room was clean. has some thinys to fix, but overall, it was confy. the hotel is pets friendly, I travel with my dogs and it had no inconvenience about that. The only thing is that the pool was out of service, and the water was green.

Roach motel. Pest control even came to each room during my visit. Management knocked on all the doors and multiple of us had our doors open so the pest control guy could spray. I still had roaches for the remaining 2 days of my stay. Was waiting on a family member to be discharged from the hospital next door which made visits super convenient which is the only reason I stay. Staff was super friendly though. Place looks nice and clean to the eye but there’s just a German cockroach issue.

The employee working the front desk was very nice and helpful (I believe her name was Destiny). However, the room was quite dirty and poorly maintained and the entire building smelled strongly of urine. My 2-year-old daughter pulled drug paraphernalia out of the couch cushions, so be sure to check everything thoroughly if you stay here with children.

Very humid in the whole property. Strong mold smell in the unit I stayed. Got a welcome card on a side table together with a cockroach running next to it. The bed felt damp and the sheets had strong odor as if being used. Asked another set of sheets. They came warm but still have similar used odor on them. Mold on the AC air outlet. Front desk was nice and tried their best.

The hotel was absolute trash!! It’s smelled like a cat litter box. Ammonia smell was so strong. The ac vents were molded and the ceiling had mold on it. The couch had cigarette burns on it and the trim around the bathtub was molded and coming apart.

HORRIFIC! Filthy room and had mold in bathroom. Managment wanted us to stay in another room but no way we'd stay there when they put us in a filthy room with mold knowingly (they knew a because they put a welcome card in the room so they knew it was dirty and moldy). Would not refund our next 2 nights although we weren't staying and would not refund the pet deposit for the 2 nights we didn't stay. Very unprofessional, I was upset and not as nice as could have been but was upset under the circumstances but their front desk clerk was rude as well. Pictures are obviously photo shopped. It's run down and dirty.

Worst stay ever!!! The TV did not work and would randomly glitch (the cable antenna was Jerry rigged with a spark plug and another cable), the room was not cleaned (crumbs on and a napkin on the floor from MOD pizza - We did not go to MOD), there was a roach in the sink, the shower did not have any soaps to shower with (they were missing), the bathroom sink stopper was broke, the couch had stains, and the ac had specs on mold and dead roaches on it… and of course manager was not in during check out and was told she was going to call me the next morning (and did not) and when I tried to call the phone is a busy tone constantly…

My room wreaked of old animal urine and wet dog. There was mold on the a/c vent/ceiling around the vent. The carpet was stained. The tv’s half worked, limited channels. The baseboards in the bathroom were pealing from the walls/tub. The toilet seat was too large for the toilet and broken. It was my birthday trip, and the room was very unpleasant. I even called the front desk to switch rooms, but she stated they were SOLD OUT for the night and that if I wanted a refund, it would be 5-7 business days. I felt they could have been more understanding or had a better solution to problems, even half off would have been a nice gesture.

When I arrived in my room, the TV cable and TV were partly pulled out of the wall(broken plates and wires hanging down. As a result TV and WiFi were intermittent to on-existent. I reported this immediately. Ii was not offered an alternate room. Instead, I was told that maintenance had left for the day (it was 4 pm), and it would be fixed the next morning. It was not, so I had another evening without TV or internet. Also, the thermostat didn’t work. The room was clean and otherwise fine, but I will likely avoid this chain in the future.

Room was about the cheapest in the area at the time with free breakfast. Room was huge and had an actual little kitchen full of dishes, for cooking and eating. There was tons of space for storage. Was like a studio apartment, so would be PERFECT for those looking for an extended stay

The front desk staff and workers around the property were very nice and courteous. The rooms were spacious with the 2 queen suite having two rooms, a kitchen, and living area. However, it is in need of some serious renovations. There was a large quantity of what appeared to be mold in the bathroom, and the sofas had multiple stains. The shower handles were not screwed in and made it difficult to adjust the temperature. There were also many gnats flying around. 2/3 Tvs worked well and could connect to Netflix and YouTube.

I was disappointed to walk in to see really outdated furniture. The couch looked like it had cigarette burns in it and it and the chair next to it looked dirty and something I didn't want to sit on. I will say that the beds were comfortable and were clean so that was a plus. I did like all the TVs and that I could very simply log into my netflix account. I stayed in a suite and my daughter and her friend enjoyed having their own bedroom.

The gal at the front desk was kind and direct. Our room was clean. But.... the room had warped flooring in the kitche , a leak from the shower, under the wall, and into the kitchen, the shower wouldn't run hot water, and the kitchen faucet ran scalding water. On top of that, the room across from us had a few dogs. I get it: pet friendly. But when your dogs have been barking non stop for about 2 hrs, the appropriate response from front desk is not "we're pet friendly". They refused to do anything about it, even though they were still barking at 12:45am and many many people on our floor were complaining. Either we eventually fell asleep from pure exhaustion, or they stopped, but rest assured they started back up again at 6am.

Really old and they only have replaced linen and bedding. Needs new flooring! It’s peeling up and can’t even walk on it. The carpet is so old, you don’t want to walk on it without something on your feet. All the furniture and beds need to be replaced. You can’t sit on the couch and the beds are so hard you might as well lay on the floor. I thought I was getting a good deal because they said the rooms were on sale. These rooms should be about $29/night or less. Thank you

Lovely area. Very close to the NASA visitor centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Sadly pool was shut for our entire stay and that’s one of the reasons we chose to stay here. Great room and facilities. Just a shame that the wood flooring was so cracked that we had to keep our shoes on in case we cut our feet.

Buildings are undergoing renovations for improvement. Everything is adequate if not spectacular. The most impressive part of this stay is the staff. Jessica and Dana from the front desk, Rosalina of the housekeeping staff and Johnny from maintenance….all of these folks seemed not only willing but happy to help with any issues that were identified. They are the real stars of this place.

We had a problem with the sink faucet. When I opened it, it started pouring water out of a hose or something like that. We asked the reception to help us. They told me that they would give me a refund because maintenance had gone, then a short time later when I stopped the leak I asked for someone to clean the bathroom because there was too much water and they told me that the people who did the cleaning were no longer there. They asked to offer me a refund but not another room. The truth is I was disappointed with the hotel. The lady couldn't do anything if it wasn't because I told her something. I told him, you know, give me lots of towels and I'll try to solve the mess myself. Obviously at that time where I was going to get another room somewhere else. I think they could have someone on a permanent basis to resolve these types of situations or someone at the reception who was more friendly, or with more intentions of solving any problem. I think more idea.

I booked this hotel as a package deal with my flight. We arrived late at night, a friendly young woman greeted us and checked us in. We noticed as heading to our room the trash around the property. As we entered the hotel, it was noticeably unkept. Upon entering our room, it looks as if it hadn’t been cleaned for quite sometime. It was very late, we just wanted to get some rest. We checked the bedrooms to decide which we would sleep. The one room is missing a smoke detector (unsafe) the second bedroom had one attached to the ceiling but it was covered with plastic to keep it from functioning. The curtains were ripped and burn marks on the couch arm. This is supposed to be a non smoking room. We immediately found another hotel with vacancies and left. The young woman at the desk said she couldn’t give me a refund since it had already passed the cancellation timeframe. 😳 I said it is UNSAFE! On the way back to our car we noticed the dumpster was over flowing with mattresses and trash. A car was on jacks. I called the next day to speak with a manager but was not able to reach them. I will continue to try and get some kind of refund. DO NOT BOOK HERE - save yourself some unnecessary traveling stress.

I confirmed it was for my 84 year old mom who had no electricity after the hurricane and she was in danger from 95° heat with no power. 1 hour before check in they called me back and said they canceled the reservation because they overbooked their reservations. The person who called was extremely rude and unapologetic.

THE HOTEL CANCELLED MY RESERVATION. I arrived at the hotel at 1am with two children in tow to find out that the hotel had cancelled my reservation and not informed me. The lady at the front desk was rather uesless and could not tell me why or when my reservation had been cancelled.

The customer service at the front desk from managers is awful. The AC was out, not a single tv worked, and the bathroom wasn’t clean. We were told we would be comped for the room but instead we were charged twice. We have now been fighting for two weeks to get our money back.

Property was not kept well. Towel racks missing from the wall in bathroom. Two pit bulls were on the property while we brought our small dog, making us all unsafe. Both pit bulls got in a fight in front of our room. Staff informed us that the owner of one of the pit bulls had been staying on the property “for a while”. Why? The location was good for getting to Johnson Space Center for a camp, but it was not a clean, safe place to stay.

Room was clean except for the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Couch is very small and hard. Beds are comfortable and linens were very nice. Complimentary breakfast was good, but you have to eat it in a bowl. No plates used at breakfast. I would stay again despite minor problems. Suite was nice.

I loved how clean and nice the room was. Parking was easy. The breakfast was wonderful. We felt spoiled here compared to some of our other stays during our trip. 10/10.

The property was ok. The room was not equipped with enough towels for all of us. There was old food on the sofa bed and the sofa bed was awful to sleep on. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it on our arrival I ran it as soon as I saw it. The breakfast ran out of plates very fast and didn’t go get anymore and they also ran out of food very fast as well.

Our stay was really good. We had a small issue with one of the bedrooms not having a tv but we notified management and they immediately sent maintenance to bring one so we was very pleased. The staff was friendly and comforting. The breakfast was amazing. The pool was amazing. Just a great stay! We will return.

The room was clean. The shower pressure was good & had plenty of hot water. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean. One of the front desk people doesn’t speak much English, so we had a really hard time communicating with him. My husband asked two different days for more coffee for the room, and the guy just pointed to the coffee in the lobby and said, “coffee.” The maid service changed our towels daily (even though they were hung & not on the floor), but they didn’t replenish the coffee or make the bed. The elevator smelled awful, so we took the three flights of stairs to the room each time. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place. The price was definitely right!
