It’s the first time in my life that I have a concern about La Quinta hotel. The pool was closed and not available during my stay. The hotel hallway smells so bad. The breakfast isn’t good at all. Odors from another room came to my room.

The whole place smelled like weed for our entire stay. There was mold in the bath room around the wall by the shower, stains on multiple pillows and towels. The air conditioner was not turned on and took until midnight to cool the room down. We were all hot and tired. Breakfast was again a big disappointment. I was very disappointed completely and will it stay here again. It use to be in better condition and ran better.

Checked in and the room shown on hotels.com was not the room revived. We ended up being stuck in an extremely small room. The breakfast is watery processed eggs, rubbery sausage and waffles to make which was the only thing we were able to eat. When entering the covers were not clean and had brownish looking stuff on them. The bathroom had left over pee stains around the toilet and the shower was beyond disgusting. There is a language barrier with the front desk and they are not helpful at all. The cleaning crew speaks no English and you cannot ask for fresh towels or covers. Went down a lot since we came a few years ago.

The room was clean the 1st night. When i booked my 2nd stay, they kept saying they couldn't find my reservation however you could clearly see i had a prepaid reservation with expedia. They did nothing to try to accommodate. I ended up going to another hotel who had the same issue and they were able to create another reservation using the expedia info. This hotel DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to assist.. they didnt even care that we had been waiting a whole hour and i had my babies with me. Horrible.

Horrible stay. Front desk clerk who of course has no name tag is as rude as it gets. She doesn’t speak correct English and gets mad at you when you ask her to repeat herself and almost yells at you. She’s condescending, arrogant and treats customers as if she’s providing a free service. Breakfast options are horrible and if you attend the last hour everything will be rationed. Hallway smelled like wet rag and AC took about 7 hours to cool room down. We were sweating all night due to it constantly turning off. Would not recommend to stay, not worth the money at all.

Had to leave a day early, talk with manage stated they couldn’t do anything because I booked it from a 3rd party. We connected the 3rd party and they said the Hotel didn’t want to refund the money for the extra day paid. Front receptionist was rude and didn’t communicate well. I do not recommend staying here. Lights went off and there were no hallway lights.

They took a deposit from me at the front desk after I prepaid through Expedia. And tha. The refund takes 6 days for th refund to come back on my credit card. Its not a pre-authorization it's a charge to the credit card that they need to give back.

We were in town for a convention at the Irving Convention center, which was very close. We weren't familiar with Las Colinas and pleasantly surprised to find the area very nice and upscale. The hotel was a short Uber ride from a ton of restaurants and a really cool entertainment district.

Over the last year I have had to frequently travel to Las Colinas and I always stay at this property. The staff is friendly, phenomenal customer service, the location is convenient, the price is a great value, and there’s breakfast. Thank you to Jay and the complete staff.

The property was very clean but the air conditioning did not work well. It would cool much below 78 or 80 degrees Fahrenheit even though I set it at 66. There was also no hot water in the shower. When it was time to checkout they would not provide a receipt due to the daily audit update. I understand that. They refused to provide anything manually in writing acknowledging checkout. The attendant said he would not provide proof. Not they he couldn’t, he just refused to do. I would advise others to seek an alternative place to stay.

The elevator was not working so I stayed on the first floor and I do not know if because we were close to the laundry but my room had a smell to it. Even though my air conditioner ran it was very humid in my room that my clothes felt damp.

Upon arrival at DFW I contacted front desk for courtesy shuttle per the web site. The attendant was hard to understand but was able to communicate that shuttle was broken, for me to find my own transportation. Once I arrived and received my room, the smell in it and hallway was unpleasant. Breakfast the following morning was free, it also was very limited and cheap. Don’t recommend staying here
