We stayed at this SpringHill property while in town for a grandchild’s high school graduation. The disappointment in our room was over the heating/cooling system. We couldn’t adjust it! We tend to be cold natured and wanted to turn the AC off. It wouldn’t turn off. We tried a number of things to prevent it from blowing directly across the bed, so we would be able to sleep warmly. Nothing helped. My husband went to the front desk to see if anyone there had any suggestions. The night person came to the room and tried to help but with no luck. We asked for another room but were told there weren’t any, that the hotel was fully booked. However, only an hour earlier we were given our choice of rooms on all 3 floors. We found an extra blanket in the closet, covered the AC unit with a large room pillow and held it in place with the ironing board. We were so exhausted we were able to get some rest, but it was just a most unexpected, unpleasant experience.
