Pool was closed which they should let ppl know on website had smell elevator was broke just was horrible

All entry and exit doors at the hotel did not work. Anyone could enter the hotel rather than just guests with a card key. The side doors were propped open with a rock and the automatic front doors were not on their track just open all the time.

The property was quiet. The pool wasn’t open and it was one of the reasons we booked the room.

We had an extended stay here due to a move. It was comfortable and clean. The pool was closed due to renovations but I wished they told us that at the time of booking. It was in need of some repair as far as cracked tiles in the kitchen, insulation around dishwasher, etc. But it was clean and roomy. We didn’t use Housekeeping while there but staff was very accommodating when we needed, towels and what not. I liked their toiletries a lot. We had our dog with us as I know other guest did but I never heard any barking and our room was very quiet. We didn’t have the breakfast so I cannot speak to that. The channels on the TV were limited and Hulu sign-in was not an option. But that was minor. Overall a very decent place.

I did not like the fact that I went through several rooms.They all had bed bugs and on each floor at that. The other issue is I wa contacted stay there to let me know. The pool was closed. However, after further reading into this hotel, I had found out this whole thing tells pool has been closed for at least almost a year.

We had gotten this hotel due to good recommendations and reviews on Hotels.com. But during our stay, we were very disappointed with the amenities and lack of their availability. When we 1st arrived the elevator was broken and our room was on the 3rd floor, the easiest way to the room required using an outside door in the hotel that the key card would not open... so you had to walk the whole hotel to then walk up 3 flights of stairs. We avoided the elevator the rest of the time cause it never really worked correctly. The Gym had 3 machines, all broken or needing repair, and the floor and weight were beyond dirty. The pool was also down for "maintenance" but I never saw anyone clean or addressing it. The drawers in room 300 and the shelves in the bathroom were busted and need to be fixed or simply replaced. The shower tub was slow to drain and you had to shower in standing water. Window curtains had holes in them and let light into the room. The mattress felt worn out and had huge dents on either end. Lastly, the bathroom smelled of urine and the floor probably hadn't been cleaned in a while... overall not a great stay, and don't recommend it. Even the breakfast simply ran out of napkins, plates, and food before the end time and none of the staff really cared too much to help. The only good thing I can say is the sheet seemed clean and it's cheap. Guess you get what you paid for... but hunt around there are +5 hotels within walking distance, and look for someplace else.

Property was poorly maintained. Tipped curtains. Auto front door broken the entire time we were there. Back door propped open. Air conditioner super loud. Everything was dingy and old in and outside the hotel. I have never been to a Marriott property that was this bad

Pool was broken and never had maid Service for 4 days. For 4 days I had to get towels and take out the trash and make the bed.

Pool was closed due to maintenance for the entire stay . The breakfast wasn’t good . Had to keep getting room keys adjusted .

Hotel outside facilities was dirt with trash on the ground. Inside walkways were unclean with trash along floors, Pool was old and mold on pool lining walls. Hotel smelled muggy and room was okay but when I went to place a can in recycle bin behind closed cabinet it had moldy trash in it. Yuck

The cleaning was the worst, there was blood on the bed mattress cover, leftovers from the previous person in the refrigerator, and pieces of cookies on the desk table, worst hotel ever

This is not a Residence Inn. Looks and smells old, not clean at all. I prefer to pay an extra $50 but want to sleep comfortable.

The room was filthy and stinky. The breakfast was a couple of bagels, a frozen entree, apples.

The staff was great, professional, and friendly. They provided great service from the moment I checked in until the day of my departure. The only changes I would recommend is the urine odor in the elevator. It was very unpleasant. Grounds was well kept. Location was perfect.

Front desk is awesome. Cigerett smell throughout building. Elevator feels like it’s going to drop you and makes a loud thud. This elevator doors shuts on you and doesn’t move back open without you forcing it. Curtain liners in suite have holes all in them. Carpet has stains everywhere. Dishwasher had terrible odor.one bathroom needs the toilet seat replaced repaired, half of the seat moves off the seating area. The beds were comfortable. The AC worked great. The full size refrigerator was good. Breakfast buffet was typical.

Very friendly staff, room exactly as described, very clean

Reserved the rooms for $89 +tax per night, got there and they charged $114 + tax. Plus a $200 incedent fee. Was supposed to have wheele chair accessible since i was having surgery, even requested when reserved (4 months in advance) did not get an accessible room. Pool closed, dirty room, dirty hallway. Last night we were they woke up to someone accessible in the hallway at 4:30am... finally at 6am they called the cops to remove them!

Dining area is bare and not to inviting. Breakfast was sparse, eggs were not available Friday were over hour and a half of breakfast, no juice that day, small menu. Friday was messy but Saturday and Sunday Liz did an excellent job! Things were clean, anything that ran out was replenished right away and she took care of anyone's concerns. Can't say enough good things about her. Living area tv did not work; requested maintenance 4 times; never happened. Was offered another room with one night left it was not worth moving everything. Found out when leaving the maintenance guy new the tv did not work and he could not fix it but never let us know. Front desk said they did not know. Like the room lay out, couch extremely uncomfortable sitting but looks nice. Would not stay again until after renovation.

Blackout curtains were shredded in every room. Dishwasher did not work (no on came to fix it in the week we were there).The property needs a refresh. Not what you would expect from a Marriott.

Perfect stay for us and two teenagers.

We stayed for a week and everyone was super friendly. But the hotel is super outdated.

Staffs were friendly and accommodating. But the rooms were old and needed maintenance or renovation. Our first room, the toilet was broken and didn’t flush and smelled like cigarettes when we requested a “non-smoking” room. So we got switched to a different room. Second room didn’t smell like smoke but the A/C unit was old and loud, rattling the whole room when turned on. Therefore it kept waking us up in the middle of the night. Also the toilet seat this time was broken, but did flushed. Overall I appreciate the staffs’ services and friendly attitudes but I probably would not book this place again.

Some of the lights in the room did not work. The bed was horrible and sunk to the middle. The tub/shower drained very slowly. The room was clean though.

Bonvoy quality, quiet, clean and comfortable suite, easy parking, located right by a Costco gasoline station and the highway. Best of all~ the staff was the cream on TOP!! LaQuilla and Joy are the friendliest, kindness, most professional at handling guest services! They treated me and my husband with kindness and like a human-to-human. They really sealed the deal when we discussed where we wanted to staycation again. Those ladies need a raise and a promotion! LaQuilla and Joy made our bday staycations an outstanding experience. 5stars each of them, too!

Front desk customer service on arrival could improve by smiling and being more cordial but staff who were cleaning the rooms were excellent and attentive

It was good. People were great. Service was great. Key did not work half the time. Very comfortable.

Excellent and friendly staff made the stay really pleasant. The front desk as well as housekeeping staff were really great -- receiving parcels, providing extra towels, cleaning up the suite impeccably were some things I liked very much.

Like the title states, this is a great part of Dallas to stay in... but the upkeep is lacking. First off, I tried calling this place directly to modify my reservation. After 15 calls over a 5 hour period I just gave up. Don't know what the front desk person was doing that whole time, but I had to reach out to Expedia and Residence Inn customer service line to get involved. Then, once I heard back from their customer service, I found out that my reservation on their books was different than what I booked through Expedia. Don't know how that happened. The last straw was checking into a room with the security latch broken off the door, like someone had kicked the door in. There was also a hole in the wall behind the door, cracked black out shades in both rooms, a falling bathroom fan grill, and a weird ceiling spot.

My stay was great as always. Just a few things missed, no towels in one bathroom, no shower curtain in the other bathrooms, but they were quick to supply what was needed. Kitchen didn't have a coffee pot nor were all the dishes clean. Was surprised to have a full breakfast available, as last time I was there, only grab and go was available. Can't wait to stay there again in May.
