Days Inn by Wyndham New Braunfels

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and nice. The pool area was a huge disappointment. Hot tub is broken and pool was so cold kids couldn’t even stand to swim.

The pool and hot tub were awesome. Rooms are very very clean and updated. The AC is the best!

We rented two rooms for a family vacation and it was a nice stay. The hotel was clean and the swimming pool and hot tub were clean. We would definitely stay again!

Really nice and a great value. Staff was very helpful and considerate. Beds are high so be prepared to stretch a leg or use your bag as a foot stool as i did...lol..the pool was great and well cleaned, breakfast waffles were fun for the boys to make and eat..yummy

The rooms smelled of gas and cigarettes. The shower was not clean and they didn’t clean the rooms when we were out for the day.

Bugs in the 1st floor room. I would expect maybe one on the floor, but this was two. One above the headboard and another in the bed sheets. For $100 the room was decent enough and big fridge, so that was nice. Not okay with bugs even for the price. We won't be back.

The property was clean and the bedding was decent. Good price and location. Did not partake in breakfast as only thing available was toast, waffles and cereals. My door key failed three times and a brown towel was left behind the bathroom door. I would stay again because of the overall cleanliness beds and price, especially if you’re only there to sleep.

At first site room look nice then I took a shower and all three walls had hair on them. My granddaughter got up at night to go to the restroom and ran back to tell me there were roaches I had to go kill them so she could use the restroom. Window shades make room nice and dark. Location great close to Schlitterbahn and restaurants. But not sure we would go back there

The room was mostly what we expected for the rating/price range: non-smoking room that smells like it's still been smoked in; outdated furniture & bedding; flickering fluorescent light in vanity area with overall low/poor lighting in the rest of the room; small holes around outlets/corners of bathroom with a weirdly low sitting toilet. However, we did not expect to spend half the night awake killing roaches, big and small. We ended up sleeping with the lights on since they seemed to appear as soon as the lights were off. We mentioned the roaches at checkout but the response from the front desk person was to show us a book that someone had come out to spray two days ago.. not sure what that was supposed to mean to us when WE were pest control all night LOL.

Stayed in one of the new remodeled rooms #110 and it was very nice. Love that they have floor instead of carpet.

I'm happy to see, after my 3rd stay here, the hotel is being managed well. It was heavily occupied during the busy weekend. However, we didn't here any noise and were able to get some really good sleep. Thank you to the entire staff!

Nice comfortable large room, with microwave and refrigerator. Several restaurants close by.

Property is being updated so some rooms are under reinvention. Our room had been completed. It was very clean and comfortable. Even though this property is located on a major interstate - I35 - the room was quiet during the night. The only suggestion I have is the bed. The bed is on a pedestal, which is too high, making it difficult to get in and out of bed. Consider using a slightly lower pedestal in the other rooms as they are reinvited.

Our stay was amazing. Service was great plus the room has been remodeled and it was absolutely beautiful. It was clean, huge and very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

I was a little concerned when I arrived, as the road noise was high. But the air conditioner drowned out the noise, and I slept just fine. The facility was clean, and recently refurbished. Staff was friendly.

Staff much more helpful since our last visit a few weeks ago. Convenient to our needs in the area.

To begin with, let me start with the point that this place is not a five star hotel. In my opinion the key for any business is that they must have good costumer service, which wasn't very apparent throughout my visit. The front desk ladies were rude for no reason. The price I paid included breakfast and they never mentioned that when I checked in and I didn't ask them either due to their attitude. If you don't care how to be treated go there, if not go to a different place.

My daughter has a service dog that is needed for her disability. We were charged a deposit for her service dog to be on the property. This is against ADA guidelines. I will be reporting this to the proper authorities and if needed a lawyer. I know my daughters rights and am a advocate for all disabled.

We made our reservation on hotel.com just like we always do. Reservation was confirmed and we followed directions on maps just like we always do. Upon arriving at the hotel, after a long day, the man at the window told me the reservation was not completed because my card had been declined. Interestingly i had just 20 minutes earlier checked my card for a different reason and saw the charge for the room. I later confirmed with the bank and hotel.com that this was not true and the reservation had been completed. He then continued to offer me a walk and rate, which was $35 more than the hotel.com price. If it had not been so late and I had not been so tired. I would have just walked out. However, I was on a 40 minute phone call with hotel.com and They fixed the situation. Can we find it the original reservation price. They also offered 2 reimburse. What we had paid over the price that they had quoted as. I was also disappointed when we got to the breakfast area. Because one of the reasons we rented, this room was for my daughter's and the pictures of the waffle makers they had in her kitchen area. As you can see in my pictures, there are no waffle makers in that area. We like eating waffles on the road so much that we actually, take our own peanut butter with us to enjoy them just a little more. The most interesting thing in this whole situation is as we are finishing breakfast. A lady walked in and confronted the same young man at the window. With the exact same situation

Hotel had the normal accommodations you would expect from a Days Inn (coffee maker, hair dryer, etc) The “breakfast” option was toast or cereal. They had a sign on the window saying. However, the whole stay was shady. The moment we arrived I noticed a sign in the front desk that said to please book through days inn.com to avoid up charges they may occur from incorrect bookings made through third parties like Expedia. I thought it was off since I have never had Expedia screw up a booking. We go to our room and it stunk of cigarette smoke. I called the front desk to complain and he said I booked a smoking room. I did. It book a smoking room. I checked my Expedia and it was not. He said he could move me to a non smoking room for a $15 charge. WHAT??? So the next morning when we were eating our toast, I heard a man telling them he didn’t book a single king, he had booked two queens. They said the third-party must have made a mistake and he could move to a room with two queens for a $15 charge. I believe they are scamming their customers or their reservation system is not working with third parties. If it is the later, they should not be charging everyone $15. We will not be back.

Serious construction/renovation going on. Room smelled like an active construction site and was covered in dust. I got locked out of my room because my card stopped working on day 2. I frantically looked for someone in the lobby to help because I had to go to a wedding and knocked on the glass and shouted "Hello?" for 10 minutes. Finally had to go look for someone and found an employee in the laundry room who tried his best to ignore me and even when we made eye contact he wouldn\'t say anything. He got the lady in the office/lobby to help, which was weird because she was ignoring me when i was asking for 10 minutes. Also they shut the water off for extended periods of time without telling me and acted surprised that I needed the water turned on. Will never stay here again. Truly awful.

Excellent location.

The Days Inn is easily accessible from the state highway. It is surrounded by restaurants and fast food. It is a bit noisy, being so close to a busy highway, but keeping the a/c fan on solved the problem. The exterior was well-tended, as though the owners really try to keep up with needed repairs and maintenance.

Easy access off of freeway. Check in clerk friendly Good parking. Nice walkable dining options

The property is conveniently located near tourist attractions, including river and park activities, dining options, the historic district, boutique shopping, and music venue.

I like this place because its like in the middle of everything and its just convenient for the traffic around here.

Rooms old and badly maintained.. Hot tub doesn't work. Or rather they turned off the heater. Breakfast (why we paid $40 extra) is a total joke. Shows hot breakfast online. In reality they have plain white bread, a near empty coffee dispenser and a shut down juice machine. As others mentioned there's also a roach problem, dirty bathrooms and bugs.

The breakfast was sub par. If the main food is going to be waffles- they need two waffle makers - people standing in line forever to make them. Rest of breakfast offerings were pitiful- not much there. Glad brought my own bread to toast. Greeted by staff - when checked in - asked 3 times if had pet. They also need to segregate pet rooms from other rooms. A dog barked the entire daytime hours we were there.

The staff was very courteous and accommodating, and the overall stay was pleasant with the other guests being equally friendly and polite in the common areas. The room appeared orderly and clean, however a brisk 60 degrees upon arrival. Unfortunately, the "continental" breakfast was by far the worst. There was only fruit loops, gnat filled apple juice, a few unsavory looking packaged frosted pastries and some odd colored bananas. The coffee was true mud, and there were no hot or traditional breakfast offerings at all. The BIGGEST strike that will prevent my return was the ROACH INFESTATION!

The hotel room was nice and clean but their continental breakfast was not what I’ve had before, their dining room was 6 small tables with 3 seats max. There was no eggs, bacon, sausage. For me it was a little lack luster but the hotel itself was very well kept and service was very nice.

The food options for breakfast was poor. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Good sized room and comfortable. However, the breakfast was quite skimpy. There was coffee, cheap bread, juice, and two kinds of cold cereal. That's it. No waffles, oatmeal, fruit, muffins, or pastries.

When we were checking in we were not given any info on what time checkout or breakfast were. I had to go ask what time to check out. As for the free breakfast, there were 2 choices for cereal. Chocolate chip muffins. No other flavors and wheat or white toast. Definitely not a breakfast that you would expect to have. The pool was dirty and the hot tub did not work. The room was okay, my towels were damp still. Most of the tv channels did not work. I would probably rate this a 2 out of 10. Definitely will not stay here again.

The continental breakfast that was advertised was pathetic. The cereal was old and hard to get out of the dispenser. The bread for making toast was stale. No fruit, the coffee pots were empty, and there was NO water in the cooler, just an empty 2 1/2 gal jug/bottle sitting there empty.
