The air conditioner worked really well. The outside of the property was very nice, as was the entrance and breakfast area, Sadly, the pool was kinda slimy (and that was a day after the chemicals had been put in) Parts of the ceiling were coming off and it was poorly screwed back in, our room smelled moldy.

The lobby had a foul odor. The hallway on the 2nd floor was unsat, because of the heavily stained carpet, debris, and peeling ceiling. The pool was filthy and there was rust around the door facing. The refrigerator in my room didn't work. The toilet ran all of the time. No microwave oven in the room. The room wasn't cleaned completely prior to my check in time. This was my first and last time staying at that particular hotel. The juice and coffee machins were out of order during the three days that I was there.

This property pool was sooo dirty you couldn't even see through the water. The bathtub was not clean, they didnt even have simple supplies for purchasing. The curtains even had stains.

This property had roaches crawling on the walls in the hallway and room. There was mold on the wall by the air conditioner. The pool was not working. We were supposed to stay two nights but checked out after one night. Do not recommend.

Was completely unable to use the pool area. Black mold and smells horrible. Was very disappointed as we have a 3 and 2 year old who were wanting to use the pool.

We checked into this hotel, went to our and found mold everywhere, especially on the bathroom ceiling and not just a little ALOT. I only have one lung due to cancer and there is no way I was going to stay there. Front desk offered us another room but if that room was that bad and they were willing to book us in it there was no way I was going to let them put me in another one. We booked a Holiday Inn in Galveston and enjoyed a nice clean mold free room. Never did get a refund. I’ve attached a picture of the bathroom ceiling

The carpet was nasty it was filthy, the bottom of my feet were black wjust walking from the bed to the bathroom. The carpet in the hallway was torn and looked like it had not been cleaned in years. Bathroom had mold, and it had a sewer smell. Theres a lot more but i will never go back.

The hotel was not as shown in the pictures. It was very dirty and housekeeping was not good. Had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the room. Also there is a mold mildew smell in the hotel. The manager was very nice and apologetic but be aware if you are looking at the pictures and expecting a clean environment. Also the hotel.com customer service was not helpful at all when I complained.

This property was disgustingly gross and smelt like mildew and filth!! I slept in my clothes and was not expecting this to be a bad place to stay! Everything was dirty from the ceiling the the floors…..the tub/shower was black with mold and just NEVER AGAIN!!

Im normally not one to leave bad review but somebody has to know about this ! The 1st room we were given was 107 & it was MOLD & DIRT Everywhere !! the hallway wall papers were coming off the wall from water damage. Mind you EVERY Hotel was booked and we had nowhere else to go since we were going on a Cruise the next day. So we went back to the font desk let the manager know and was assiged another room on a higher floor .. This room didnt smell as bad btu was still dirty ! we had to go to the Walmart and get cleaning supplies and covers just have somewhere to stay for the night ! We would have stayed in the Car if our luggage woudl have allow it !! WORST $115 ive ever spent !!!

They were doing construction in the room next to ours. Was woken up by banging and drilling both days. The tub was stained blackish gray. Husband had to fix the toilet to stop it from running. Water dripped on you from the bathroom fan which was broken and didnt work. The floor in the room slopped down and then back up aa you crossed the room. You felt and heard the front two sliding doors every time they opened and closed in our room. The staff was very nice just nothing like the pictures and not relaxing due to the work happening.

We were not very happy with the experience of the room. It was very damp. I was afraid to go barefoot on the carpet. The bathtubs need to be resurfaced. The lobby was the only good part that we enjoyed. There was a table in our room with a coffee pot on it that had an inch of dust underneath and some trash that should’ve been removed. The lamp in the room was rusted. We will not be going back to this hotel.

It was fine for a quick weekend trip. I thought the breakfast was poor—just bread, waffles, and a Jimmy Dean sandwich. The room was good, just a bit old-looking. The bathtub looked dirty, as the varnish had rubbed off. Otherwise fine, cheap price

This hotel was decent for a one night stay, but it looks run down. The door hinges were rusty, as were the lamps and parts of the shower. The shower didn’t have a liner, and the bathroom itself looked dingy. There was random dust and hair in the room. Also, the ceiling had a broken area. Breakfast was a disappointment. The breakfast area was nice and clean, but there was very little variety (cereal, yogurt, waffle maker, and Jimmy Dean sandwiches. There was also OJ and coffee). When we showed up, the 1st room we were given was filthy. They did give us another room however the new room was directly above the entrance, where to sliding door sounded like someone dragging a chair across the floor all night long. Just not a great place.

This property was solid for the price. We were looking for value and not luxury. There was morning breakfast options for those that like that kind of food, hot coffee 24/7, room was clean which meets our criteria for a short stay. The beds are not comfortable at all but the bedding was nice. The carpets need a thorough deep clean and the shoes could use cork and tiling to give it a face lift.

This hotel needs renovation badly. Paper peeling off hallway walls. Plaster peeling off ceilings. Our bathtub had been patched and recaulked poorly and had a lot of rusted areas. I would not bathe in it.

This place is definitely in need of a huge makeover. The front desk guy that checked us in was super nice! But the place smells really bad of mold and mildew. The wallpaper was peeling off of the walls and the AC cycled up and down the entire night. The toilet was clean but stained and everything is just old and dingy. There is green stains on all of the windows on the outside from the environment.

The woman working the front desk and setting up for the continental breakfast was short with guests waiting in the lobby to check out. She was short tempered with me as I asked for a receipt, or at least some proof of check out process being completed. We checked out one day early due to personal choice, yet it was worth the loss of having paid for the third night to not have stayed there any longer.

This is a friendly and clean budget hotel. Our bathroom door hinge didn't work well. You had to lift the door to get it to close. The hotel was out of bar soap and the rooms did not have hair dryers. I would stay here again because the staff did the very best with what they had and the entire hotel was clean.

Frist off Expedia over charged me 11 dollars .It was suppose to be a 50 dollar deposit refundable when checking out .They didn't do that they told me in 5 to 7 business days after arguing with them i left ,then i noticed they had charged me 250 dollars deposit there liars i still haven't been refunded a freaking dime today im headed to file theft charges on them never again wilm i stay there its not over with them yet also speaking with a attorney Monday if i dont rece my deposit back TODAY

Was to be a blow dryer and an iron in the room and they didn't have it . Had a very special night plan and couldn't iron clothes. Checked with the desk and the didn't have none nor did they act like they cared. Had i known would have went to another hotel. Staff didnt act like they cared.

Was to be a blow dryer and an iron in the room and they didn't have it . Had a very special night plan and couldn't iron clothes. Checked with the desk and the didn't have none nor did they act like they cared. Had i known would have went to another hotel. Staff didnt act like they cared.

Staff was excellent. The air conditioning in the first room we were given was not working at all, and the clerk quickly found us another room. All desk employees were friendly and provided good service. Motel condition could have been better ... but I've stayed in a lot worse. Breakfast was satisfactory but I would not book the room based on the breakfast ... frozen breakfast sandwiches and waffles with some pastries.

Got there and the front desk lady was freaking out because there was a leak and she had to move people around, not a problem. We got to our room and it smelt like mold, the bathroom frame was all rusty, and there was a roach on the bed. The lady at front desk was very upset with everything going on, but she was very nice and apologetic. She let me look at a different room that ended up working out in the end.

Front desk employee had some sort of mental break and denied reservation to myself and two perfect strangers. Trying to get a refund from Hotels . com has not been easy. No follow up from them after a week of waiting. Requesting help again so we’ll see if anything comes of it. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL ***we heard the hotel lady say there was MOLD in this hotel too

Stale smell in the elevator and hallways. Wallpaper peeling in hallways. Poorly patched sheet work on walls. The room was decent, yet severely basic; small. The woman working the front desk and setting up for the continental breakfast was short with guests waiting in the lobby to check out. She was short tempered with me as I asked for a receipt, or at least some proof of check out process being completed. We checked out one day early due to personal choice, yet it was worth the loss of having paid for the third night to not have stayed there any longer.

Overall a nice hotel. A little difficult to get to as you need to go through other parking lots, but not terrible. They are in the middle of remodeling, but it still looked nice. The bed was comfortable, and I slept very well! My kids loved the pool! Would definitely stay here again (and will be in a couple weeks).

It was really good for the value. Clean enough and had a good sleep. They even offer jimmy dean microwave sandwich’s compared to a traditional continental breakfast. I would come back.

It was fine for a quick weekend trip. I thought the breakfast was poor—just bread, waffles, and a Jimmy Dean sandwich. The room was good, just a bit old-looking. The bathtub looked dirty, as the varnish had rubbed off. Otherwise fine, cheap price

Apparently remodeling going on and floors not very clean. Floors in room feel moist on the feet and killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Went for coffee next morning and machine would only work sometimes. The guy working desk messed with machine till it worked a little better. Breakfast area run down and they apparently were mostly out of food. No butter, no milk for the cereal, no fruits, no pastries and trash cans full from day before!

The good: the bed, towels and TV. The bad: shower lever was broken, shower curtain old and stained, build up of black dirt in the bathroom fan that fell into the bathroom when the fan was on, dirty old toilet bowl. In the room, outlets that didn’t work, paint peeling from, and water stains on the ceiling. Expedia shows that housekeeping is included but it is only included if you ask for it. Otherwise you don’t get housekeeping. Breakfast was minimal. Dated and overall needs to be repaired and updated.

The lobby had a foul odor. The hallway on the 2nd floor was unsat, because of the heavily stained carpet, debris, and peeling ceiling. The pool was filthy and there was rust around the door facing. The refrigerator in my room didn't work. The toilet ran all of the time. No microwave oven in the room. The room wasn't cleaned completely prior to my check in time. This was my first and last time staying at that particular hotel. The juice and coffee machins were out of order during the three days that I was there.

The property was under renovation. The Continental Breakfast wasn't good didn't have much and only had one waffle iron. Was very disappointed on that Plus the towels were limited know face towels at all. Tub was very rusty and brown looking I asked for a King size bed I was given to full Size. The paint smell was very strong.

Breakfast was a joke. 1 waffle maker and some Jimmy Dean microwave sandwiches. No butter for the waffles. Our counter in the bathroom looked like it broke and was tilting toward the floor. I won’t stay there again.

If I could rate it a zero stars I totally would. The front desk was so rude, the room smelled like mildew, there was crumbs and trash in the bed like they haven’t cleaned in a long time. The air conditioner did work but made terrible grinding sounds all night long. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

The hotel had smell when walking in. Had to hollow to get help checking in. The swimming pool was closed and didn’t see a hot tub at all. The room didn’t stay cool at all. Never stay there again. Wish I had spent more money somewhere else.

Room was musty,damp ,stinky,wet,moldy and probably unsafe for people to stay in . The room a/c worked fine until after midnight then started making grinding noises of and on that woke us up. The front entrance had a trash can overflowing with trash, the main lobby smelled Chinese food. The downpour of rain as we arrived was a sign of things coming. The window in my room was leaking in rain,bugs, and allowing outside noise in. Kitchen area had food stains on floors . I rented room for two nights but left after one night. I did not get a refund for the second. I rejected another room offer as I expected a similar room status. If they don't inspect room conditions before they don't care about their visitors, The Comfort Inn had a good reputation. This dump needs to close. I will not be choosing this chain anytime soon or ever. The staff was so rude and quick to point out no refund from them.I suggested they fix the problems before renting more rooms. Maybe local-city inspectors need to be notified about the mold problem. I don't recommend renting a room here until new management is hired . I failed to read the reviews about this dump. I suggest the Comfort Inn remove their name from this place.
