The hotel is showing its wear . The AC in my room was very noisy. Every time it turned on it would wake me up. I find it interesting that the parking is free in the entire area around the hotel, but the hotel charges $3 a night to park in their lot. Overall it was fine, the staff is nice and I just wanted to be close to the ride start first thing in the morning

We were welcomed with a friendly staff when we arrived, he was very nice. He did not suggest for us to walk from our hotel to Magnolia because of some homeless people around the area. I really appreciated it but was a little disappointed to hear it. At that time the street in front of the hotel was under construction but you cannot hear the noise inside our room. The indoor pool was cold. We had a towel in our room that had holes and rips. I took a picture of it, that was disappointing to see for having to pay for a Marriott property. The breakfast was good, had a lot of selections and the dining area/lobby was nice and clean. It needed more curb appeal in the courtyard area. This hotel is a great location for visitors that would like to see Magnolia market and silos..It is very close to the brazos river, suspension bridge, texas ranger hall museum, Dr Pepper museum and a lot of restaurants.

Really enjoyed our stay. We had a king room that had a spacious living area with couch and mini kitchen. Upon check-in we were given complimentary bottles of water. We arrived during their happy hour and there were bottles/cans of beer and bags of chips, and cookies available for the taking. Breakfast has good hot options, an oatmeal bar and cereal. My only complaint is that the indoor pool room is really hot. It appears as though there's no heating/cooling in the room. My daughter wanted to swim, and I just wanted to chaperone, but I couldn't bear to stay in the room clothed more than 10 minutes. It's just way too hot, more so than even an indoor water park.

The hotel room looked really nice with lots of room with the big sectional. The kitchenette was a great bonus. The bed was not comfortable. The bad part was the bathroom had a dripping bathtub and toilet that kept refilling amd slowly emptying so had to close the door. There breakfast was really good and the indoor pool was a bonus. Has potential and served as a good base to walk around to the shops.

We were able to check in early by being a Bonvoy Member. The welcome gift was a nice gesture. The front desk staff were all very friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was nice and had towels available for use.

As a whole, the experience was good. The main areas are clean ecept for the corners and where the main vacuum will not reach. Maybe the Manager could take a walk down the halls with a pair of scissors and an assortment of Sharpies to touch up the carpet in the halls. Difficult to see clearly out of the windows, outside windows need a very good cleaning. Breakfast was decent. Bed was comfortable room was relatively quiet.

We had a very large roach in our shower that didn't instill confidence in the cleanliness of the room. The staff dealt with the situation quickly. The breakfast food was not great. Would not recommend.

When I checked into my room, the rug was wet. It was so wet, that I stepped on towels to sop up the moisture. It was still wet in the morning. It was also stained with rust-colored stains in various places, and I suspect the stains were mold. The room stank of cigarettes. I asked to move rooms, but they were full. I also noticed that the screen facing into the alley of my first floor room had been plied away from the window (from the outside). I was so tired, I took a chance and stayed, but it was pretty nasty and scary ...

The hotel overall was clean and modern. That would be a 5 star. Parking is right in front of hotel. Walkable to Magnolia. For our room, it was huge! Kitchenette, large desk, TV and a very comfortable bed. All looked great. But the property decreased as door stuck and you had to slam it, bathroom wallpaper was peeling, bathroom door peeling, etc. The breakfast also lost a point. We stayed in 6 hotels and this was the worse breakfast. No fresh oatmeal (in containers you heat), no waffle maker just bagged to heat, there was no bagels filled, etc. Very low grade, average.

This property looks so dingy when you walk in to check in. It looks old and smells. The room was okay, but we sure didn't walk on the carpet barefoot. One of us slept on the sofa bed (not pulled out) and it really was stinky. Won't stay here again.

Ok so I gave 5 stars because of 3 main reasons 1) the location is so perfect 2) the staff are amazing and 3) the unit size/kitchen. I love this place and stay here every time I’m here. I will say that the only downsides are the unit noises. One stay there was a consistent rumble abut every 10 minutes and this most recent stay the AC was so loud it startled me nearly every time it came on. Some people may not tolerate those negatives but the positives outweigh them 100 to 1 in my opinion

The suite was very nice with a small kitchen area and open space. The room was very clean and tidy. I had business at Baylor, and it was just a few blocks to the main campus. The new arena is a quick walk. There is both fast food and restaurant dining nearby. Good, reasonably priced choice for downtown Waco.

The hotel was fine. It was clean. I was put next to the elevator which was very loud especially at night. The AC unit was loud also. I noticed it didn't get cool in the room the second night. I think being in a different room would have been fine.

Great stay led to staying a second night. Front desk personnel were very accommodating. Breakfast was substantial for traveling, eggs and other breakfast foods. Ricardo went above and beyond to help us.

Check in staff were friendly. Gave us a nice welcome bag with water and some snacks. Hotel and room itself seem a little run down. Only reason we are unhappy was they tried saying we didn’t pay for our room and charged us twice for our 1 night stay. We booked through Expedia and had proof that our booking was complete and paid for but they still were saying that we didn’t pay for it. After contacting Expedia and Expedia calling the hotel, they finally confirmed our room was paid for. Now just hope we get refunded for our 2nd charge.

We were able to check in early by being a Bonvoy Member. The welcome gift was a nice gesture. The front desk staff were all very friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool area was nice and had towels available for use.

Our stay was comfortable, room was clean and well prepared. Lots of dinner options nearby and easy to access area. The only hiccup was unprofessional customer service by one assistant manager at the front desk- besides this, other staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Would book again!

The suite was very nice with a small kitchen area and open space. The room was very clean and tidy. I had business at Baylor, and it was just a few blocks to the main campus. The new arena is a quick walk. There is both fast food and restaurant dining nearby. Good, reasonably priced choice for downtown Waco.

The room was in great shape; clean, organized & easy to reach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I appreciate it very much getting a little gift bag with much needed water bottles. It is quite easy access to the magnolias and the Dr pepper factory. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thanks again to the staff.

They were wonderful. The staff deserves a 10 star rating. They were soo beyond great. The breakfast offering was all fresh and delicious. I can not give enough praise to the staff and management of this well run Inn. I will stay again if ever in the area. My stay was 22 days in a studio suite and it felt like home.

The hotel rooms were comfortable. Since my husband and prefer different shows it was nice to have two tvs. Breakfast was good every day with plenty of variety. Convenient position near waterfront.

The room was great! Large, clean, and well-priced. We did not like the extra charge for parking when the lot was half empty. We also thought the breakfast was below average. All in, the value was good and we would stay there again.

The gentleman who greeted us at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fresh. We especially liked the variety of yogurt toppings! Thankful for a good night of rest.

Trains noises all night long very loudly; coffee cold and burnt at breakfast, front doors don’t work properly, got stuck, carpets in hallways are very smelly,careful, if you bring a pet, they will charge you $100 extra per night, room was $207 per night for a small room and TV only has local channels, and then since coffee at breakfast was ugly (cold and burnt) I tried to make it in the room and the coffee maker switch didn’t work, asked for a replacement and never was brought by, shower is good and bed is good, in 4 words We will nit comeback.

The hotel overall was clean and modern. That would be a 5 star. Parking is right in front of hotel. Walkable to Magnolia. For our room, it was huge! Kitchenette, large desk, TV and a very comfortable bed. All looked great. But the property decreased as door stuck and you had to slam it, bathroom wallpaper was peeling, bathroom door peeling, etc. The breakfast also lost a point. We stayed in 6 hotels and this was the worse breakfast. No fresh oatmeal (in containers you heat), no waffle maker just bagged to heat, there was no bagels filled, etc. Very low grade, average.

Very large suite with separate living room, which was great with teenagers. The shower was fantastic & beds were comfortable. The location is near the highway, but the noise wasn't bad. Walking distance to Magnolia & the Dr Pepper Museum.

Property needs maintenance and upkeep. Doors have broken locks that have been that way more than the last year that I have stayed. Breakfast was good, breakfast attendant was very nice. Location is great! Not walkable though. Too many homeless. I did not feel safe after dark.
