I like Utah I’ve stayed in Ogden many times so I thought I’d try Layton this hotel smell dirty. The utensils were OK at best. The TV was small. The room did not smell good and I was in three different rooms. I had problems. I had a lady with a dog right above me, even after asking the staff at 1:30 in the morning I didn’t get to sleep till 2:30 in the morning because of the upstairs person with their dog, the dog ran around, ran around, ran around. They had a softball team there, which I did not know of when I had problems with the downstairs because getting no sleep on Monday They moved me downstairs again next to the pool. The pool didn’t get quiet until 1015. The person upstairs didn’t get quiet until 1130. I had such a horrible time I left early.

The picture of the pool is deceptive. The pool is tiny. There were at least 6 kids in it nightly which pretty much maxed it out. So don't plan on swimming unless you don't mind dodging the canonballers. Bring your own pillows! The hotel ones are not good. Everything else was ok. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional.

The pool was green and lumpy. The Wi-Fi in my room did not work and the worker at the desk gave me a customer service number in India to call for help. The breakfast was free but terrible. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The breakfast room was really small and could really hold only about 8 people comfortably. And, oddly, the front door to the hotel was hard to find.

The room was a bit dated. Walls and baseboards had tons of dings and missing paint. We had trouble finding a plug in the room where our charger wouldn't fall out of. The pool was not maintained and was full of debris. Housekeeping could have been better. I felt like the bare minimum was done. We stayed two nights and had to request new towels because no one came by to tidy the room or refill basics like coffee. It wasn't a spectacular start by any means.

The suites are at end of the building by the stairs, very suitable for family with noisy kids. The hallway and lobby are too small, very cramped when hauling luggage.

It was a good value. The kitchenette would be valuable to us on a future trip. The location is great and walkable to dining options. The rooms next to the pool can be noisy all day until 10-PM. The breakfast was just fair and the coffee at breakfast was not good.

Very well appointed. My only complaint was the dirty pool. They said it was heated but it was cold. My grandchildren's lips turned blue and their teeth were chattering.

Don’t stay here unless you bring your own tools and breakfast. We didn’t really get to relax because we walked in to the smoke detector beeping. Their solution was to have us change the battery. Our room was also not ready even though we were there 2 hours after the check in time. There was also no breakfast with 45 minutes left of their noted breakfast times. The rooms were fairly clean - I did have to clean boogers off the bathroom wall. The hallways are very dirty and the fronts of the doors were gross. Maybe it was an off week. But I will be looking elsewhere next time.

Dirty smelly hotel. Lots of people loitering on the property, looked like drug dealers. Breakfast didnt have any hot options although it was advertised. Dining area was small. This isn't the typical niceTownplace Suites that I've become accustomed to.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Both rooms we were in had a bad smell, probably from the cooking that would have taken place there. We moved rooms because the first one had a non-functioning heater. The the second room had a functioning heater, but had the same bad smell. I would recommend this place, but check the smell of the room before accepting it.

The TownePlace Suites is somewhat outdated but nice! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room but when we were there it was great! The breakfast sandwiches were not great. But the rest of the food was wonderful! I would highly recommend this property to anyone. It is close to shopping, restaurants and of course Lagoon. I will use them again in the future!

Overall great stay, but has the world's smallest toilets in the room. Toilets are very low and the bowl is extremely shallow (water level close to seat). We bought and installed a toilet seat riser to add 5 inches.

The staff were very welcoming, and the service was excellent. The only issue I have is that the walls were extremely thin. We could see light coming through the shared doorway and we could hear every noise and conversation through that the neighbors were having. There were dogs barking as well as children running around which made getting our one-year-old to sleep quite difficult. just a little bit better quality noise buffering would have made this experience much better.

Love staying at this hotel! It’s perfect for my kids and I. We are able to spread out and the little kitchen is perfect for whipping up a quick meal or storing all of our leftovers. This is my go to hotel for all our stays when we come to visit family!

The room was fresh and clean, the pillows, and bed linen were great quality. Check. Upon arrival the front desk was really nice, helpful and made the check in a breeze. I liked that there was a kitchen that provided utensils and everything I needed to make a small meal. I will stay here again, Kudos to All of the staff for making my stay very pleasant.

When I made reservations the I mentioned I had a pet. The agent immediately wrote they’d be sure to put me on the ground floor close to the exit for late night walks. The suite was spacious, well appointed, clean and delightful. Quiet and easy friendly checkin. Will definitely be going back when traveling in the area again

I stayed with a good friend, it was nice to have the suite with 2 rooms with the ability to cook and have a fridge. Great location if attending conferences at the Davis Center.

It was a good value. The kitchenette would be valuable to us on a future trip. The location is great and walkable to dining options. The rooms next to the pool can be noisy all day until 10-PM. The breakfast was just fair and the coffee at breakfast was not good.

Very comfortable accommodations. Didn't really need any of the kitchen amenities, but the location was great and everything quite comfortable. And the staff were friendly and spoke enough Spanish to communicate with our friends.

The property is convenient to stores and restaurants (literally either across the street or down the street). The staff was friendly, and assisted in our questions. My only negative was the bed, it was I believe a double which was small. I would come back to stay if in Utah.

The room itself wasn’t bad but the hotel looks and feels like an older apartment building. We stayed for five days and did not receive any cleaning services. In fairness we did not call to demand it but found it odd and ran out of towels and toilet paper. The breakfast is typical but the room has only four tables. The front desk staff were polite and helpful when asked for assistance on anything.

Dirty smelly hotel. Lots of people loitering on the property, looked like drug dealers. Breakfast didnt have any hot options although it was advertised. Dining area was small. This isn't the typical niceTownplace Suites that I've become accustomed to.

The pool was green and lumpy. The Wi-Fi in my room did not work and the worker at the desk gave me a customer service number in India to call for help. The breakfast was free but terrible. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The breakfast room was really small and could really hold only about 8 people comfortably. And, oddly, the front door to the hotel was hard to find.

The room smelled and looked very clean. It was a great size for the group that was staying there (2 adults, 1 teenager, 2 kids and a baby). The bathroom was a little small, but we made it work. My only complaint was the fan in the bathroom was horribly loud and the toilet was “old” and got plugged. The maintenance guy was very helpful and friendly! Breakfast was pretty simple but it was yummy. The building is on the older side, but the rooms are nice and seemed updated.

The TownePlace Suites is somewhat outdated but nice! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room but when we were there it was great! The breakfast sandwiches were not great. But the rest of the food was wonderful! I would highly recommend this property to anyone. It is close to shopping, restaurants and of course Lagoon. I will use them again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay there, as we went to Lagoon with our son and his family. We came the day after they did, and our room was in the other building, but at our request they were able to move us to the room right across from our family. The room was very accommodating. We have no complaints. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. thanks

water from the sink that isnt cloudy would be nice, as well as not needing to go to the gym room to get clean drinking water in the room. ventilation for the rooms would be a nice upgrade as anytime you use the built in kitchen to cook literally anything thoes fumes get stuck in the room and stink the place up bad. front desk staff was very helpful though
